[DOA5LR] HLOD mods mostly for Honoka - UPDATE (10/21/17): SWANOKA

Simplest method is to use one of the replacer tools, lnk reshuffle or autolink, they're both posted here and tutorials for both can also be found here. Autolink looks like it takes a little setup but is a very powerful tool, lnk is (probably) quicker to get working.

Actually, with AutoLink it's just a matter of placing files in a folder. Nothing complicated. Way easier than lnk reshuffle, imho.

Could you please post a DLC for this mod. I don't even know how to use the TMC/TMCL files

Actually I could, but it will result in a complete mess considering the big chance of slot conflicts. Just think that all the mods here (except two mods for naotora) are only for Honoka, and she doesn't have infinite costume slots.

 

You should use lnk reshuffle as the good siframe has recommended (small tut on my HLOD thread), or Autolink. That thing is really easy to use!. Tut here (thanks to tastefultoy)

2. Download and extract this inside your DOA5LR install folder (it contains an "Autolink" folder, and other 4 files).
3. Copy ALL the TMC/TMCL mod files inside the "HONOKA" folder:  "... / Autolink / HONOKA /" (similarly for Naotora, inside her respective folder). NOTE: --C, .--P and other files aren't necessary here (only optional).

That's all!. Now ALL the mods should be available on the first 9 original costumes for Honoka (Naotora). Select them by changing the "details" on each costume.

for some reason my game crashes to desktop at the main menu when i use the 0.5 version of auto link.

I have tried downloading it twice so far (one from the author and one you uploaded) and it still crashes.

It is worth mentioning that version 0.4 runs with no problems and the game is updated to v1.05.

Yep, you could use this costumes (as-is) on any other character, but the neck connections, fingers, etc will look weird. Use timmy's converter tool to transform this models first. And remember to use the "HLOD texture pack SE" (available in the "downloads section" here in the OP) to update the textures.

Come on, just 3 steps and this is still difficult to follow? Tell me in which of the steps you're confused to clarify that. Maybe I didn't explained well after all.

Oh and it's only necessary to put TMC and TMC files. Using the other files you mention is only optional

Weird... I've updated autolink from 0.3 to 0.5 yesterday, and it's working fine for me, just like before.... Are you sure you replaced ALL the files?

I'm used to use that "numbered" way since the first released version (0.1). It was the only way back then, maybe the latest versions are different?. Anyway, I've also realized that also you can put more folders with TMC files inside (no matter of the numeration or name), it also works.

Updated and fixed version of this mod. Previuosly called "kinkynoka" (who cares about the name anyway ). 20 variations available, 10 with original textures, 10 using recolored textures. Some minor weight issues and maybe some clipping. Piercings included (I've made those piercings using some meshes available on this same costume).
