Frozium Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 It's 18.30 in Spain and it seems that Nexus mod manager is down ( can't login or update). Your thoughts?
=IceScream= Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Yup, same problem 21:05 Russia. Just wait
myuhinny Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Looks fine to me. Not sure on the manager though as I don't ever have it logged in and stopped updating it long ago.
=IceScream= Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Sometimes NMM bugging like hell, but anyway we can download mods manualy & install them with many other managers
Frozium Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 OK, had to install a mod manually, but it's fine. Thanks everyone for reporting
=IceScream= Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Have no problems with entering Nexus site. Yes, i can enter on webside too. But i can't login in NMM so, i think, its Manager problem, or serer problem
myuhinny Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Are you signed into the nexus? If not then that could be your reason. I no longer login with it as I will not turn off my computers protection just to use it and anything that requires you to do that is probably doing something shady I also don't update it as I like it without all the crap they shoved into it. I get a error like that as well with mine but that is because the older ones the login no longer works and I think they did it to try to force people to update.
prinyo Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Isn't NMM open source? With all the geek enemies they seem to have made in the past years with their banhammers I expect we would know if it does something shady. There is a "hot" topic about this on their bug tracker and a mod is saying that it is a server issue that is been looked at.
bjornk Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Looks like the issue has also affected Mod Organizer (see today's comments). http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?
myuhinny Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Maybe now it does but it use to have extra crap hidden in it till people started finding the hidden crap that was hidden in their tool like things that allowed them to see what you had on your computer. Specialist have also at one time pointed it out to a users that have had a virus and told them that it acted more like a virus/malware then a tool and some have gotten the virus from it which is why they took it in and then found out about some of the hidden things it did that they didn't want you to know about.
