Yeah. That's pretty much what I'm getting.

 

"Female with internalized misogyny" lol... the world is truly a funny place. :D A huge portion of my followers are women!

 

Anyway, I will make animation with less frames. It seems to be the only solution. It's the in-game engine for sure.

Or maybe If I try one last thing that might fail miserably... BAH! I'll try it anyway!

 

 

It's all identity politics, which is something I hate.  Luckily the industry is pretty hardened against this already especially after the Jack Thompson/Tipper Gore/Hillary Clinton era of attacking vidya in the 80's and 90's.

Ah, yes. The Parents Music Resource Center. The same bored, uppity senators' wives who called D&D "satanic" and heavy metal "pornographic." I get no end of joy showing how Tipper Gore perjured herself by saying under oath that she was against the trials, but in official records she said she was for the trials. That's one reason I just couldn't bring myself to vote for her husband in 2000; someone like that near the Oval Office? Her husband is a fucking loon all on his own.

 

Waah! I want to see this mod updated. :(

Great Mod, and good job.  Been watching this for a while and am pleased.  My question is, will you ever consider making a higher reolution version for those of us whop have beefy computers.  Althought they look good, I have absolutely no frame rate drop and the images are kinda pixellated around the edges.  If not so be it, but if you ever considered making a much higher resolution version really quick Id personally be pretty pleased

All the sprites are in vector, so there really is no higher resolutions. The game doesn't seem to "smoothen-up" the lines so it could run on consoles.

 

 

Speaking of consoles, I've read the terms of service on Bethesda mod page... and it's apparent that my mod would not make the cut. Only those mods made in Creation kit would make it 'cuz they are easily implemented into the game. Mine is a loose file and so far no one found a way to change the sprites in Creation kit.

Plus it's a suggestive mod... so no hopes anyway.

I think you misunderstood.

 

Bethesda's websites accepts mods as plugin files or plugin files + ba2.

 

I think you can provide an empty esp file called ruthlessperks.esp for example and a ba2 file called ruthlessperks.ba2 where you have all your UI files packed properly (with proper paths)  so when they activate the ESP the UI files get loaded as well.

 

Now the suggestive bit might actually stop you from publishing it there but then again it doesn't really show anything explicit, it's all suggestive as you said.

 

Personally I wouldn't upload it there to avoid all the headaches of dealing with dudes that just hit puberty but hey it's your funeral.

So I've read something about ESP files and that made me thinking... what if that is what will rapidly lighten the mod?

 

I've no clue how to make them, but if any of you can, just DL it from Nexus and give it a try! Maybe that way the game doesn't have to be edited to read loose files too.

ESP are just for referencing, it tell the engine what item use what. They don't contain any texture, nor rig, nor models, just a bunch of reference.

What you're looking for is BSA. Whereas a loosefiles is uncompressed and loaded on demand, a bsa will be uncompressed and preloaded. (basically, bsa are archiver (like rar)). Ya do need to make an esp to load them tho.

There's no way Bethesda would approve this on BethNet. Their idea of "sexual themes" is innuendo and Fifties era pinups. OTOH they do embrace the 'Murican idea that horrible mindless violence is fine so long as there's nothing more graphic flesh-wise than what's in an underwear catalog.

Are you so sure about Bethesda not allowing it on Bethesda.net or is it Microsoft/Sony not allowing it? I remember a statement made by Bethesda a while back when mods were going to consoles saying that they wouldn't limit modders since it's your game. But due to Bethesda being a official company and they market Fallout 4 from my impression, would get them a huge stink from the ESRP if any uncensored sexual content was added to the game and was being publicized on their website. Sounds like a controversy from the good ol' "Hot Coffee Mod" of the GTA: San Andrea's era.  I may be wrong.

 

 

Other news, Ruthless, I downloaded your mod. Due to computer restrictions I can't run Fallout 4 on my PC currently, but I can port mod's over. I actually tested your "loose files" in the Xbox One version of the game. It works. It's not hard to get it to work. And the cool part is, Bethesda allows for mods to be setup as private so no one else will ever see it, at all. I think that is their way of getting around the said issue above and still let people have their fun. But, any who. It does work.

I must say, great job with this! I have tested it and while there was a momentary lag as the perk tree loaded, there was no performance hit otherwise. To be honest, with as bad as fallout 4 performs with mods installed anyway, I doubt anyone will really notice whether or not your mod causes any adverse performance.

Long time no see folks!

Those who follow this mod closely probably know why it takes such a long time, for those who don't: life = currency + time

But thing's are starting to calm down (a little bit).

LOL, wouldn't it be awesome if I could be one of those entitled Patreon snobs, confined in his home, spitting art daily? :D    

 

Anyway, I made some more detailed concepts so they could work as both reference and eye candy:

The big leagues was a breaking point at which I decided to simplify the animation as much as possible so it wouldn't lag the game, with all the jiggle stuff added in Flash:

But I was informed that there is a way how to make even the "complex" animations less load heavy. We'll see where it goes.

Oh boy!

How long was it? 4 months? Damn...

Anyway, almost everything in my life is settled now so diving back into the cleavage of this mod. I wont give up on that easily.

 

It is the fortunate nature of Vault Boy that even if FO4 goes out of fashion, the icon stays and these animations I'm creating should not loose their use.

I'm not sure that will happen given that the version you linked is meant to be SFW while the one here is clearly NSFW :P

 

But if they do decide to work together that would be pretty awesome. Perhaps a SFW and NSFW version :)

 

 

Actually the version here, as in this thread is SFW. It is saucy and sexy but not pornographic. Ruthless has said that he has no intention of doing a NSFW version but he certainly hopes that someone does. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm right.
