Are Gamecube/wii/etc or later games available for modding and is it possible?

I'm obsessed with some earlier games enough to want to be able to play like pc/rom-- whatever-- versions of them that are modded, or at least be able to have some fun models to use in Skyrim.  I can give a little more information, but first I'd like to see how possible something like this would be if not at all...

Are there like files that can be uploaded of character models etc?

I'm sorry if this is a confusing mess of a question. I can be more clear if need be. :)  In all honestly, I'd pay for some features, it would be a dream come true if someone had the resources and the drive and talent to make it possible.  <3

But if the reality is bleak, then it would be nice to know. I can always pursue other obsessions I suppose. ;''3

i know for sure that n64 games can be "modded" and i think the games of later systems can be as well, you can see plenty of hack roms on youtube videos and stuff like that, but i don't know what exactly you can mod on then

I'm not sure I understood what you're asking for exactly, so I hope my answers won't be too off topic.

Is it possible to mod console games?

Maybe on some really recent consoles (I think Micosoft was telling they would make it possible on Xbox), but definitely not on 99% of consoloes (wii, gamecube, xbox, playstation, ...) There is just no way to install mods on console

Is it possible to port old console games to pc?

Yes, although you need to emulate the console (create a "virtual console" from which you launch the game). But it means re-coding the console in a software, it's possible if the console is fairly simple (gameboy for example) but not possible for bigger consoles (impossible to emulate a ps4 on your pc for example)

Is it possible to port old games content in new games?

99% of the time no, because games use their own "structure" and it's not because two things are similar in appearance that they have a similar code. An animation from The Witcher can not be ported to Skyrim, because the way the two games handle animations is very different.

I use an emulator called Dolphin to emulate Wii and Gamecube games on my pc.  To get to the point, I'd love to play with characters/and or whole games themselves, more specifically being Metroid prime 2 and Metroid Corruption.

I'm not sure if there are player models out there, but I'd like some enemies to made available in Skyrim if that is even the least bit possible, but having control over one of these games would tickle me to death.   I'd honestly pay for it, if it was good.  If there was some super genius who had the resources I mean.

Well if you are asking if it is possible to "combine" games it's not possible, you can't just load the game through another game or anything like that. Two games are two different things and they can't interact with each other.

Now what is possible is that someone re-creates (from scratch in term of code) a part of a game in the form of a mod. So you can if you want have an ennemy that looks like the ones in metroid prime 2 (to keep your example) and behave almost in the same way.

The problem is that as I said the modder would have to re-create this ennemy in the Skyrim Creation Kit from scratch, as it's impossible to use ressources from another game.

IN SHORT:

If you want to insert part of a game into another game, it's called a mod. It can be long and hard to do it, so you need to find a modder interested in doing this mod (or learn to mod yourself with tutorials for example)

While it is entirely possible, it is not at all legal, and as such, has no place for discussion here.

Google is your friend.   ;)

One note, "hacking" your gaming system is a good way to void any and all warranties, as well as permanently break it.  Hacker beware.
