poblivion Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Does anyone know if anyone is working on a new hairstyle for Fallout 4?
Arhon Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I dont think its possible to add new hairstyle without GECK but I could be wrong.
patzy Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Not sure if Hairstyles are Adult Mods, of what hair are we talking? No seriously, you can be sure hairstyles will be there once ppl figured out how to do it, no need to request it.
Akzyra Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 If it works similar to Skyrim, the only problem would be the NIFs. Plugins can be created with xEdit. And some modders have permission to port mods like KS Hairs.
Halstrom Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Does anyone know if anyone is working on a new hairstyle for Fallout 4?Yes someone is......
multfilm Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Problem is all hiarstyles in game with HDT building new once without proper tools - problematic.

abovewolf Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Outfit Studio is a fairly capable platform for people who just want to mess around while waiting for the pros. If you look at my first picture you see the vanilla hairstyle. In the next shots you can clearly see I have given the hair more length and body, while maintaining physics. The last pic is a KS Hairdo I stuck in there from an obj file...so the hair lighting is odd and I lost any physics.

poblivion Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/977/? Thanks, but I already know this mod, unfortunately, it's just a combination of vanilla hairstyles. Not quite the newly created hairstyles.

Did you load the hair as a outfit and then just edit the nif and export it/ save it as a project? anything in between?
Niobia Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Someone made Afros which is just awesome. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7219/?
abovewolf Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 what was the method you used to lengthen the hair style? Did you load the hair as a outfit and then just edit the nif and export it/ save it as a project? anything in between? You got it! I also took the clothphysics from the original hair and stuck it into the modded hair. Some hairs come with additional meshes 'facebone' and for some reason my modded hair wouldn't show up until I copied over that file. SO I basically dragged some verts around in Outfit Studio, exported nif, slapped the physics on it and made a second copy, renaming it the facebone file. Here I did the Agent X, which is FemaleHair15 and Femalehair15faceBones. This may screw up collision....the hair could clip through the face? Haven't seen it happen though. I admit they are kind of lame compared to the awesomeness of Skyrim....I am just waiting for the pros to do the real hairs. Oh and that is the Catwoman Suit from Skyrim...I have been testing Skyrim and Fallout 3 outfits in Bodyslide along with hair...it's fun!

I was going to make the catwoman, but somehow i got the meshes broken, i remember that when i was going to the bs setup back in skyrim, i saw the mesh divided in nurbs, the polys was a mess.

Sooo any chance on getting a request for the Evening Out hair style to get a stretch, because you just went beyond me with all that.. I was thinking about working it in outfit studio... but after hearing all the rest just to really get it to work in game... so, if you have the time please consider it thank you
deltadeath93 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I asked apache if they were going to port their hair to fo4. the response I got was " Maybe, if I have time and the tools for importing fo4 meshes to blender is out, we will see"
