movomo Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Ah, another useless stuff.  This is a texture replacer which changes skin to 'abused' form. But I cannot make every texture for every race so I made a psd template to make things easier.  See this screenshot.    Optional Download ================= http://www.mediafire.com/?vrz17yz2ao9ix8j ->some example textures. contains  Imperial (4096) Ren_MysticElf (4096) Ren_MysticElf_Tatoo (4096) DiabloEF (2048) Moonshadow Elves (2048)  *These are just example textures for some commonly used races. All credits to each authors.   Requirement & Compatibility =========================== To make texture for your own race, you need 1.Photoshop and nVIDIA dds plugin or 2.GIMP and dds plugin  These textures are HGEC compatible. This means, some of bodies which are not compatible with HGEC texture, are displayed flipped horizontally in game. In that case you need to flip corresponding layer manually. Not difficult though.  HowTo ===== If you don't have any ideas see this:   I don't use GIMP so I'll explain Photoshop. (Basically same)  1. First you must install required programs.  *****installing***** --a ok.  2. Open your race's skin textures. Generally they are under Meshes\Textures\Characters\(racename)\F(emale). Their names are generally (XX)footfemale.dds and (XX)footfemale_n.dds Note that some races share the same skin texture. You can find what texture is used in your race using CS.  3. (XX)footfemale.dds means color map, and the suffix _n means corresponding normal map. See normal map, go channels tab. Usually normal map has an alpha channel.  4. Begin copying & pasting. If the texture size ( not file size, image size this time) is not 4096x4096, resize the template. shortcut is (Alt+Ctrl+I). *Shift+Ctrl+V : SPECIAL Paste. Paste into exactly same coordinate. Use this instead of Ctrl+V this time. If the layer's name starts with 'colormap_', copy it to your colormap. and so on. self explanatory.  *After copying it to texture, layer blending option is automatically changed to 'normal'. The layer named 'colormap_scrawl_multiply' is 'multiply' layer, so change it.  *Some odd-skinned races (ex dunmer, osimer) need special handprint color( do you want pink handprint on orc's ass?). In this case, you may want to change Hue value. Use (Image->Adjustment->Hue/Saturation). Its shortcut is (Ctrl+U).  5. Save the textures. When you choose to save as .dds, a new window will pop up. Select 'generate mipmaps' and select DXT1 1bit alpha for color map (or no alpha. doesn't matter) and select DXT5 interpolated alpha for normal map.  6. Youre done. Go replace your textures. But before that, don't forget backing up and back your backupped files up and double backup those.     NOTE ==== I want to make this as a shader or something so that we can use this without texture replacement or without making clothes for every single different body type, but I don't know how to make shaders. If someone gives me instruction or tutorial link that'll be appreciated.  CREDIT ====== Thanks to Triratna for providing link to Bonyu.psd Thanks to The author of Bonyu.psd Thanks to ... guilmonex Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 How to keep the texture quality when I save as DXT1 1bit alpha? What are the settings? Â Want it the same quality as my psd/source file.
movomo Posted April 17, 2012 Author Posted April 17, 2012 How to keep the texture quality when I save as DXT1 1bit alpha? What are the settings? Â Well, the texture quality always drops whenever we save again regardless what options are used(except non compress formats), unless we have original source file. Â DXT 1 color compression ratio isn't so different with 3 or 5. Besides, original skin textures are also saved as DXT 1. So if you save them as DXT 3 or 5 then the file sizes will be much larger (about 2 times) Â Edit: Ah, if you have source then it's different. But anyway use DXT1.
guilmonex Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 So every time I edit and save a dds will suffer a quality lost? Â Just want to add some tattoos to my high res choco elf.
movomo Posted April 17, 2012 Author Posted April 17, 2012 So every time I edit and save a dds will suffer a quality lost? Â Just want to add some tattoos to my high res choco elf. Â Yes, indeed. You should edit all you want at a time, or the texture color changes visibly. But just one or two times are ok I think. Oblivion's HDR is very strong.. you won't see noticeable changes thanks to the game lighting.
Guest Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Thanks. This is really well made! The creator must have had fun making the skins
Triratna Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 OoooOoo O_o  Movomo, you should make bukkake moneyshot skins. We never have those on oblivion.
GSBmodders Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 OoooOoo O_o  Movomo' date=' you should make bukkake moneyshot skins. We never have those on oblivion. [/quote']  cute elves had one, so did a couple others. still it's always nice to see variety. what would be really nice is to get a bukakke mesh. I could use one of those for a get up i'm working on
movomo Posted May 6, 2012 Author Posted May 6, 2012 Bukake moneyshot texture? lol That's the most useless thing I've ever heard. Anyway this texture really needs to be a shader, or this is completely useless. No one wants to seem like a bitch all the time!
guilmonex Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Bukakke mesh is easy to create. Â Copy and paste a whole body mesh, add alpha property, change the texture to lovers bukakke, resize the uv map and done! Â
GMac2021 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 I'm working on a new race if anyone's interested - and if movomo approves. Because I'm lazy, it needs MBP and Hair Style Master (available here as part of the FFRace) as Master files. Â I thought this skin would work great with Galgat's humiliation mods. If there's any interest (and if its cool with movomo), I'll work on a standalone version when I get some time this week. Â Crappy screenshots follow (No AA as I alt+tab a lot AND my pose mods all broke. Any time I type "ShowRaceMenu" my toon lies down on the ground - so I disabled them all.) Â Abused Lop Ears Elf Attributes and Race Details: Â Â Â Â Couple of typos I'll fix... Â Â Â Preview Images (Default character creation screen girl. Standard HGEC ECup body: Â Â Â Â Â Â
snarfies Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 When I saw "abused skin," I was thinking something like whip marks...
movomo Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Well I think so, but because of seam line on back it was somewhat hard for me to draw realistic whip marks lol  @Garcemac Thanks. I sent you a pm.
DeadSomething Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 When I saw "abused skin' date='" I was thinking something like whip marks... [/quote'] Â i was searching for exactly that: a tortured skin. i'm using "sexy oblivion planes" and it replaces the hanging corpses with girls, but they dont in the slightest way look tortured...
GMac2021 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Well I think so' date=' but because of seam line on back it was somewhat hard for me to draw realistic whip marks lol  @Garcemac Thanks. I sent you a pm. [/quote']  Thanks for the permission, movomo! I don't think I'm going to develop it, though. There's no interest and you've made it so easy to slap this texture on any race that I think my efforts would be pointless.  I have eliminated the dependancies (MBP and Hair Style Master - which was totally unneccesary). I don't see the point, though.  Its a great texture, but you made it so easy to use that there's no point releasing a race.  I thank you for this, though.
Honesty Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 How difficult would it to be, to make all of the texture, minus the abused marks/writing, invisible? That way your texture won't make the nipples/etc look different than what we had before .. am I making any sense here? Or perhaps make a version like that in case we had modified looking nipples, and etc.. : ) Â And perhaps make it a clothing 'piece' so we can equip it/make NPC's and followers equip it without it replacing an entire races body texture. Â I love it so far anyway : )
DeadSomething Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 hmmm that might be possible, but it would require working in blender, which i wont do...
MonicaAngelBlade Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 I kind of like this, Thinking of using it on my Moonshadow Demoness character.    I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make an optional Moonshadow Texture that doesn't have "I fucked the champion of Cyrodil" across the chest would seem a little silly to have that when you "are" the champion of cyrodil lol  I'm a futanari fan, so maybe something like "I love futa cock" could be added instead?  Just a suggestion xD
movomo Posted June 10, 2012 Author Posted June 10, 2012 Sorry guys. I've been doing Fallout. Â @DeadSomething Sure, that's not impossible, and don't even need Blender works - you only need Skope. Disadvatage of making it as cloth is, skin color is fixed. Basically you can change your skin tone while charactergen but if I make these as clothes their color won't change as your skin color changes. Â @MonicaAngelBlade Well, just delete it then. This is just some kind of example. It's not written by champion of cyrodiil though =P written by someone who fucked you.

movomo Posted June 10, 2012 Author Posted June 10, 2012 even if its only the writings/marks whatever without the skin itself? like everything else is absolutely transparent? and its a layer above the skin texture? Â Ah, you're right. But still there are some minor problems. You should use 4845 alpha flag for transparency but probably it'll conflict with your hair - no workaround for that. ( not serious imo) And you have to create cloth for your favorite body type yourself. Otherwise it's ok and simple work. Ask me if you don't know.
DeadSomething Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 i'm not willing in editing all my default clothes again also i dont want a tortured skin for just everyone - i just want one for those hanging HGEC bodies and zombies...
llab Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 I couldn't figure out how to do this with gimp. Â Selecting layers gave me each individual decal, and can't figure out how to drag to place a layer. Â Obviously i have little idea with gimp... i was hoping itd be sort of intuitive but doesn't seem to be.
llab Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Could anyone convert this into an armor/clothing mesh?
