Hairuken Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Hi all, my SexLab Submit is not working properly. I get the dialog but no animations occur. I will go through the motions talking, but then the NPC will just stand there or walk away when animation is supposed to occur. I have viewed previous posts however nothing has worked for me. I have not tried resetting animations in the MCM but that is because I can't find it. I will post load order and active mods below: Active Mods: -Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS - FNIS Behavior V5_5 -- ALWAYS necessary -Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS - FNIS Behavior V5_5 Fix 1 COMPLETE -Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS - FNIS Creature Pack 5_3 -Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS - FNIS Spells V5_0_1 -- ADD ON for the spells -SexLabFramework_v160_hotfix2_FULL -skse_1_07_03 -SkyUI Load Order: -SexLab -SkyUI -FNISspells -SexLab Submit
Nightmyste Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 As far as i can see the mod has been abandoned so i'd say switch over to Defeat instead as it has most if not all the same features if you still wish to use submit then try reinstalling the mod on a clean save to get the mcm menu working that tends to do it for me As far as i can see the mod has been abandoned so i'd say switch over to Defeat instead as it has most if not all the same features if you still wish to use submit then try reinstalling the mod on a clean save to get the mcm menu working that tends to do it for me

I got to the options menu and tried it out but nothing happened. I did a clean save and now Defeat doesnt even show and I uninstalled Submit completely, but still isn't even showing up.
Nightmyste Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Then i sadly do not know what could cause the problems unless you forgot to install any possible dependencies, i'm sorry i can't help you any further but good luck and here's hoping you can find a solution
SCarverOrne Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 The mod was indeed discontinued, but I know WaxenFigure took it upon himself to develop a patch, and I believe he eventually shared it publicly in the Submit support thread. If you still can't find it, message me and I'll see if I can help you.
vram1974 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Defeat and Submit, neither work for me. Especially Defeat. I just die or bleedout every time. It would be nice if we could have a simple mod that would stop bandits from attacking if you're unarmed and just get on with the sex.

It would be nice if we could have a simple mod that would stop bandits from attacking if you're unarmed and just get on with the sex. There are lots of things that can affect the combat rapes. If you use mods that increase the enemies power, they can one-shot you so Defeat/Submit can't kick in. If the enemy gets a killing blow, it can bypass the chance for rape. I use Defeat 5b3.3 with SL 1.60.2 and it works fine (except for maybe for creatures which I don't use that part much). I also use Immersive Wenches and if I don't adjust the level of IW through it's MCM and adjust Defeat's percentages upward, I never get raped by them because they pretty one-shot me or kill-move (especially at earlier levels), whereas other non-IW enemies work fine with defeat's base settings. Basically try adjusting all of the settings in Defeat and you should be able to find a balance that gets your PC combat raped. Even 5.1.0 worked in this regard, it just has so many other little issues that I decided to stick with 5b3.3. Submit probably has the same kind of issues, but I never used the combat rape in that (just the seduction) and haven't used the mod in my more recent playthroughs (using SLEN for seduction stuff).
WaxenFigure Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 The patch for Submit is in my sig, I also patched Defeat (using instructions from the author of Defeat who has inexplicably never incorporated that patch into Defeat despite the time that has passed). Defeat without the patch works only once, the patch fixes that particular bug, look on page 389 of the support thread for that patch.

doomcat9 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 quick question, after you installed everything, did you run Generate FNIS?? Nothing will work if you dont do that... ALSO "I have not tried resetting animations in the MCM but that is because I can't find it." This directly points to a bad installation of Sexlab... I had this issue with SexLabFramework_v160_hotfix2_FULL Make sure you installed the: SexLabFramework_v160_hotfix2_FULL.7z (62 mb file) and not the update patch ya? Also FNIS spells mod is optional you dont really need it I also included a screenshot to show you where in the MCM you are supposed to find the reset animations and other reset options ALSO ONE BIG THING Sexlab Defeat is a little evil.. Once you load up the save wait for like a minute or two Defeat takes time to show up on MCM and then when it does go into the MCM menu and look for Defeat (It will not be called Sexlab Defeat) I will just show up as just "DEFEAT". Then make sure to enable the mod.. some reason the latest version makes you manually activate the mod.. Honestly i think from what you said about Submit, your issue has something to do with your installation of Sexlab Framework.

Regards try the previous page (388) Thanks, it's working now (sort of). It's weird, I reach zero health and still don't go into bleedout but eventually the knockdown blow happens and the rest happens as normal. Appreciate the link. This community has become one hell of a mess. Huh?

srayesmanll Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Sorry, I was trying to remember it off the top of my head. Glad you found it. Probably another one to add to your sig until Goubo gets back/updates D5.1.0.
WaxenFigure Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Sorry, I was trying to remember it off the top of my head. Glad you found it. Probably another one to add to your sig until Goubo gets back/updates D5.1.0. I probably should create a new Submit patch, I think I may have missed a few opportunities to fix some resource intensive spots of code in it and the patch to prevent the CTDs is no longer needed with the current version of the Papyrus Utilities though I could just fix it to use the SKSE extensions that have replaced what the Papyrus Utilities did anyway. I still don't want to become the development/support person for that mod but I do still use it in all my games so any fixes I make for myself or should make for myself really ought to be shareable. On the other hand I am surprised that Goubo hasn't posted any fixes to Defeat yet, I suspect he may have lost motivation on it. He did a massive rewrite so a few bugs weren't unexpected but a few patches for the roughest problems like this posted in the Original Post where people would get them instead of running into the problems and having to hunt through hundreds of support pages to find the patch is something that should have happened already. EDIT: It seems the OP for Defeat has just been updated with the plans for version 5.1.1 so Goubo is indeed working on it again.

EDIT: It seems the OP for Defeat has just been updated with the plans for version 5.1.1 so Goubo is indeed working on it again. By the Nine, do it. I mean, I am personally using the same version and patch that you sent me last time, but everything still gets borked if I try to use the submit during combat feature(s). And yeah, I know that's kinda the whole point to the mod, and I'd have given up on it a long time ago if not for the fact I can at least still start animation / action via dialogue. Hell, even the death-proof submit only works about 10% of the time. tl;dr dealing with scripts when modding is difficult beyond words, especially when I know only slightly more than dick about programming. Edit: Furthermore, the reason I'm using that version is precisely what I alluded to earlier - some features work, which is better than nothing works, which is what I'm afraid would happen should I try to change the mod(s). Your patch at least let my game run without constant runaway scripts. But were there to be actual updating or attention to other versions, I'd happily change to something with more or better features.
