Generally speaking, not much has changed, as most mods are readily available for the Skyrim AE version, whether it’s SOS, clothing mods, or essentials like SKSE and Faster SMP. You just need to make sure you know which version of Skyrim you want to play. You also make extensive use of SAM (Screen Archery Menu) for better screenshots. Furthermore, you use OStim instead of SexLab. However, in my opinion, it really comes down to personal preference and what suits you better. In my opinion, many people have switched from 3BA to UBE 2.0 because that body mod offers a lot of versatility. I’ve stuck with 3BA myself, though, as I find converting clothing mods to UBE a bit of a struggle. Still, I hope someone who is much better at explaining things can help you out.
