cly Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Hello I'm not a newbie but I played skyrim a long time ago. finished 30% from mainquest than stopped. (those addons were not released yet by that time). Now I wanted to start a new venture with the Legendary Edition. but wonder what it looks like with the very many mods available now. today one quickly loses track. Can you help me there? without mods? or what mods one must definitely have?
Jimcarry Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 RaceMenu and SkyUI are must haves. Both require SKSE to be installed.
Vortec Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 It its been a long while. then i'd suggest using this guide. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/47360-anatriaxs-guide-to-an-immersive-skyrim/
Funnybizness Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Strange Followers!!!!... (drops the mic.)
Ashra XIII Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Even though it's a few days behind, let me post my own strong recommendation that you follow the Skyrim S.T.E.P. guide. At the very least, do the core guide found here. Next, do the Skyrim Revisited guide here. It includes a great tool for setting up an ENB, and also walks you through optimizing textures for a great-looking game. Once you've done that stuff, then I'd suggest taking a look at Anatriax's guide, which was linked above by Vortec. You can use it for sexing up your game and such, though for the basics I'd really recommend the STEP guide over anything else... not only is it way more comprehensive, but it walks you through the best way to install each mod to make it more compatible with the other mods on the list. It's really helped my game!
