nufndash Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I have re-arranged mod orders a thousand times, installed, re-installed, and then re-re-reinstalled skyrim and oblivion after major screw-ups, now I finally have a somewhat stable skyrim and a stable oblivion with hundreds of mods. But here is the one thing I have not been able to overcome....when a link takes me to 4shared for a download, even now that I have a registered account, all I get is a bunch of download buttons that basically are adds for download managers. I have tried every download button I see but it never takes me to a countdown or otherwise download format. I have just about worn out my Google trying to find a solution. Anyone else have this problem, there are many archived mods in the forum posts that I would like to look at, but when the link is for 4shared, I get nothing.

AnnaFly Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Greetings Follows this sequences ( 4 screenshots i took a few seconds ago ) : I use d my old IE9 there ( W7-64) , but it's almost the same thing with Firefox ... Cheers. PS : you must have an account and be logged of course.
nufndash Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 Thank you all !!!!!!!!! Now that I knew where to look, I found that the social media links toolbar was actually a ad without the download button.....The real working one you showed me was underneath. I understand trying to make money with the ads and whatnot, but geeesh,
varenne Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Yeah, 4shared got kind of sucky about a year and half ago, trying to monetize the crap out of everything. Glad to see you got it working!
myuhinny Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I never noticed but then when I go to 4share I have adblocker and ghostery on so if they had a bunch of ads I never noticed because adblocker and ghostery removed them.
AnnaFly Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Greetings. " 4shared " and not " 4share " ... ;°) ... that's not a joke because some sites use a " similar name " to "redirect" you to something dangerous ... so be carefull when you clic on an URL ... by the past there was a false site "Windows Updates " .... so be carefull . Anyway , now you know how to download something from "4shared" , that's the principal. Cheers.
myuhinny Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I meant 4shared forgot the D. There is no 4share.com unless you want to buy the domain there is also a 4-share version but that one is also dead.
