Dead Money End Reward: Holo-Hore (SiC) Acquired: Either in the form of a perk (Requirements: Complete Dead Money) or an object found inside the vault and/or the brotherhood bunker if you've missed it. Either way, it takes the initial form of a misc object added to your inventory. How to use: You drop the Item wherever, and then activate it, given a dialogue box with 3 options: -pick it back up again, (shuts off hologram and adds the emitter back into your inventory.) -switch personalities, (switches between Starlet and Pre-war Dean Domino hologram. Default is dependant on sex and orientation (Starlet for Straight males/Lesbo females, P.W. D.D. for Straight Females/Gay Males) -activate XXX hologram. (self-explanatory, however doing this will plant the transmitter where it is permanently ) - Once the hologram is active, you can talk to it and have it fuck you (pretty much like a prostitute, but free and less hastle.) or fuck a follower (or start a threesome), or masturbate or simulate bondage. Or order it to change gender modes through dialogue, or order it to shut off (same as the pick it back up again dialogue.) - Basically, a nice sexual reward for enduring the hell that is Dead Money, and a way to get a quick screw in a jam (useful for Chase's Sexout Lust) (Other ideas) - Cannot give/catch STDs from this (Is there a way to disable this on an individual) - If you set it up near a hostile (that isn't already attacking you assumable) you could also use it as a decoy. Though unlike the Sierra Madre holograms it has no attack (we have mods that add D.M. holograms that attack enemies for you already.) and wont flee, So it'll just sit there and serve as a distraction. - Not sure if this could just be used with regular NG or if it would require rapers/brutal rapers, but if enemies (creatures and NPCs) melee attack it, there's 100% chance for rape (good way to observe creature/npc rape without having to be female and on the receiving end yourself, or using console codes.) - In addition to just female and male, perhaps an option for the Holo-Hore to simulate critters/robots too? (only the ones that we have anims for of course.) Since there's no "NPC attacking creatures" option though this would disable the "Auto-Rape" feature mentioned above (unless the hologram would automatically rape NPCs in this mode instead of the other way around) - On top of that, the ability to simulate more than just Vera and Dean? Maybe the ability to simulate other NPCS, Companions, or possibly the ability to design your own little holo-slut using the character creation menu? (dunno if that's possible, I know back in oblivion there was a mod that allowed you to create your own follower/companion this way) Honest Hearts For (stright) males... I honestly don't know. Perhaps the ability to gain a Dead Horse/Sorrows "wife" or enslave one of the White Legs into being your personal fucktoy? Neither of the tribes in H.H. really come off as the particularly promiscuous type. Especially since they've both got Mormon missionaries as acting chiefs. For females (or gay men) though... on the lighter side there's always the option to have a little fun showing Follows-Chalk a "new place to scout". And on the grimdarker side, there's the possiblity of White-Legs enslavement and rape. Seeing as I never get into those mods though, I'll leave that line of thought up to you guys. Oh and perhaps some Humping The Mojave style option to have a one-night stand/affair with Walking Cloud? (Preferably after you complete a family affair). Even though I personally wouldn't engage in it since I personally find she just annoys the piss out of me (GRRR Why can't I go back to having Follows-Chalk as a companion?!). Old World Blues Obviously some thing added to The Sink, though what I don't know. Another (static) Holo-hore/holo-hore addition to the light switches? Sexbots (in that case this is probably the wrong thread for it, I think such a thing was being discussed Here.)? A sexual stimulation machine of some sort? (would require different anims or something probably) As for anything else... I dunno. Some sexualized breeding experiments headed by Dala, but that's pretty much all I oculd think of. Update 4/15/2012 While I await help/adoption on the Holo Hore project for DM, I decided to see if I could come up with more ideas for Old World Blues as well as post a few that have been suggested by others. I'll split them up into three catagories: Male and Female centric, and Unisex. I Thought it also might help to try coming up with ideas in/for every unique place rather than just overall (note I count Gay Males in the female section since the anims/concepts are roughly the same. Ditto with Females wearing Strappons counting as male ideas.) Male - The Sink: Again, some way to give the light switches who seem to be madly in love with you some sort of body so they can show those affections first hand... Either in the form of a Holo-Hore prototype, a Sexbot, or a Lobotomite (though I think it might do well to give them an "Improved" Lobotomite for reasons explained in that section. I honestly see no need or point in including a stand-alone character in this for males/gayBi females) - The Cyberdog training facility: Fourth Splice option to create sexbot? Otherwise I have no idea (The cyberdog you can create there is female, but there is currently no man-ON-dog anims so that wouldn't work.) - X-13 research facility: Here we have another interesting tidbit with a possible sexual outlet: This time a suit that while it doesn't admit it directly, does also have a thing for you. Again, Some way to personify the suit, by putting it either on a sexbot or a Lobotomite which it could "possess" in order to romance/please you. - Z-38 lightwave dynamics research: Possible Holo-Hore prototype (Female only, no other form options. A "proof of concept" version of the one that hopefully will appear in the dead money addon). This could be attached to a small quest where you either take it back to one of the lightswitches OR attach it as an upgrade to your suit, or just leave it where it is and use it at your own will. (you could also attempt to give it to Sink (object), but it'll turn it down, saying "Ewww get that nasty thing away from me! All that cum and sweat and... uuuuugh") Giving it to the lightswitches will make it static (unable to leave the sink), but whenver one of the light switches is turned on the holohore will take on that switch's personality (will have the same dialogue, etc), and will give you a bonus (a more powerful version of the normal light ambient switch bonus) whenever you "use" it. Giving it to the stealthsuit means you can take it with you, HOWEVER it also comes with some restrictions on this mode. First of all it requires SECs to opperate while active, secondly you can only sex it once per day (due to its personality). However, unlike the lightswitches variation, and the Dead Money "full" version, when you use this variation it WILL fight for you as a normal companion. Giving (or trying to anyway) to the Sink unit will result in rejection, causing said sink to complain that she "doesn't want any of that filthy, nasty, slimy human seed anywhere near it, let alone floating inside of "her"" Females X-8 Research Center: Some alternate way to get past the Cyberdogs and Nightstalkers? A ingestable/wearable pheromone that will on one hand cause them to not attack you anymore. BUUUUT on the other hand they'll also attempt to rape you at least once if you get near them. Z-14 Pepsinae DNA Splicing Lab: Same idea but with cazadors. (Alt Idea:) You find and ingestable on a table. Upon ingesting it (in the facility) all the Cazadors become non-hostile but simliarly attracted to you and will try to rape you. If they succede you'll get knocked out and put in one of the lower rooms, Stripped of your stuff apparently and left for naked. If you stay there, cazadors will occasionally come and mate you. If you do, you can find your stuff not far from where you're dropped off. However the moment you run off again cazadors will try to find you and rape you (and return you to that room). So you'd have to either fight them off or sneak past. Or just get mated by them enough that it'll eventually give you a new perk that not only lets you slip by the ones in the facility unharmed, but will also give you the ablility to "offer" yourself to a Cazador should you get in a fight with one, causing it to rape you and then leave you alone after that. Z-9 Crotalus DNA preservation lab: Full of nightstalkers. Same basic ideas. Ability to get raped/mated by night stalkers. Get a perk that lets you get raped with any nightstalkers you fight in exchange for freedom/get perk that turns nightstalkers non-hostile. Think Tank: Some quest by Dr. Dala related to the above. ... and something with lobomites. Unisex (either applies to both straight sexes and/or is indirect) Z-14 Pepsinae DNA Splicing Lab/ Z-9 Crotalus DNA preservation lab: Perhaps some addition to these places where you can see females (possibly lobomites) chained up in pillories/to tables/something (not familiar really with bondage anims to really know how those work) and being mated by Cazadors/Nightstalkers respectively. Lobotomite Sex slave in Sink? Suggested by Kjester. Buuuuuut I personally don't really like this idea for four reasons. 1. OWB addon should be about the new and exciting. Mindless mostly-human sex slaves just seems ... I dunno, done before? (as opposed to splice bestiality and/or technophilla. I'd put plant/robo tentacle in this too but we don't have anims for that I think.) 2. This is already possible. Just use SexoutSex and Robco Certified together, take mad scientist, kill someone with their head intact, and poof! Lobotmite sex slaves. in fact... 3. I'm already working on something that'll include lobotomite slaves: Sexout Certified (addon to robco certified that adds ability to fuck lobotomites, cyberdogs, and cyberclaws that you build.) 4. personally I find lobotomites ugly as sin (barely more tolerable than ghouls. So yeah. Lonesome Road ... Nope, sorry. I got absolutely nothing. Because I've never played it. You guys are on your own for this one since I know absolutely nothing about the plot or place and don't want to spoil myself by reading the fallout wiki articles on it. Well, that's all for now, just thought I'd throw these ideas I had into a thread in hopes that they might get some interest and turn into a mod (in particular the Dead Money and OWB ones.) Feel free to add your own ideas (especially for L.R. since i'm severely lacking in that area.

(personally, i like stories! with danger! but not so much that it ends or destroys the game for me...), but I could certainly try helping you get started. So... first.. I have not played Sierra Madre yet -- I keep having to restart my game because of bugs, so I have not managed to get there. But, for starters, you are going to need to pick out your actors. And that means, specifically, that you need to make sure you are happy with your hologram characters being naked (since that will be how they will be dressed for most of your mod). If the characters in Sierra Madre are already suitable, of course this part becomes easy. Next, you are going to need the object that you drop. That's new territory for me, but again you need to be satisfied with the physical appearance or you have extra work to do. The above two paragraphs may require you download and use NifSkope (to preview your models, mostly). But you will also need to download and use something to make the mod itself. Personally, I always use GECK (the new vegas version) and use other tools to clean up little mistakes. Other modders here seem to have other ways of building up mods. (Apparently you can do a lot with FNVEdit but I do not know enough about that to teach it to you.) Anyways once you have a plugin you are editing with the actors and object in it, we need to have a way of activating something that you drop. Fortunately, it looks like "drop" (here: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/OnDrop) is a supported game event (here's a complete list: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Begin). You are also going to need to create a quest. This quest will not have a name (so you will not see messages about your progress in this quest) and the stages in this quest will control the appearance of your hologram npcs and will control your conversation with them (and the conversations will start the sex). So: after you have created your object in your plugin (need both of those first) and after you have created a script for your object (and told your object to use that script), and after you have created your quest the object script itself will have code that looks something like this: begin OnDrop player if Getdistance Player < 64 SetStage NAME_OF_YOUR_QUEST 20 endif end 64 is arbitrary, but means the hologram got dropped near the player and did not roll down the mountain. 20 is also arbitrary but leaves us with some room for earlier quest stages. Whenever stage 20 is reached we spawn your npc there (and we will have to get rid of your npc in a different stage). Then most of the rest of this will be creating dialog for you NPCs. You will have to write that part (and I recommend writing it normally -- just in a file or something -- before you try to put it into game form). In fact, most of the work here is work that you can do independently. I forget if Sexout needs you to identify a specific animation number before you start sex, or not, but we have some experts here if you need help picking a good sexout animation number. Anyways... if you can tell me if any of this makes sense to you -- if you can gather up the tools you need, and stuff like that, then we can try focussing on concepts that have been giving you troubles.

Remove the clothes, and it turns into a solid, normal NPC....

We can make GECK clothes from any nif model, which means that we can make clothes from a nude body image. For portability purposes, we would want to include these "clothes models" in your mod. And, we would need to instruct SexoutNG that these clothes are not to be removed during sex. We might have other options, also, but this one should work.

So you'd have to find some way to apply the hologram effects in nifskope or something to the naked bodies (and same for the holographic creatures), or find some way to simulate the holographical effects through actor effects (again, like oblivion does with its ghosts) and neither option I know how to do. Besides, I'm actually working on Robco Certified Entrepreneur right now anyway (non sexout related mod that makes it so you can sell robots you make on the open market and various other customers. Dunno where I'd put it though since I'm b& from Nexus and I don't dare upload it to my alt there in case someone might make the connection. and B& that too even though it's been at least a year now)

I do not know any file names or form ids or anything yet, so I do not know how to look for this myself. But here is how I would proceed: First, try installing an arbitrary nif (leather armor, maybe) with the file name corresponding to this armor. If leather armor can have the effect the effect is defined in the master file. If it loses the effect then the effect is in the nif. If it's in the nif then the next thing to do is to try settings from that nif on another nif until the right setting(s) are found. Maybe after I play through Dead Money I will be able to recognize the files from the details you specified here...

They also replace head/hand/feet locations in addition to body. That's really all that's happening here.

I remember discovering that the textures for the standard vanilla Combat Armor are actually largely transparent as well, but you can't see through that armor.

Meshes without NiAlphaProperty ignore the alpha channel of the texture (and the Flags value sets the exact behavior of the alpha property). It's rather interesting, though, that some of the main meshes on the ghost nif does not have an alpha property. I do not know how they make that work. But hypothetically speaking if you have the NiAlphaProperty on your meshes and it has the right flags and if you have the right kind of alpha channel on your texture, you should get the translucent effect.

I think I've just found the answer to our problems! though admittedly I've yet to test it extensively. so hang on. Seems to work almost perfectly!! Except for one little problem. Well, maybe not so little. It doesn't want to play sexout animations (I've tested it using the console Testing Guide But it didn't work.) Edit: Found the problem. The effect sets SetGhost to 1, making the creature/person unable to have sexyfuntime. This can be circumvented by using SetGhost to 0 What we need then is a script or other method to SetGhost to 0 just before sexyfuntime, and then SetGhost to 1 again immedately afterwords.... The former is easy. Just put "SetGhost 0" in the dailogue script. It's the later that has me stumped. But in the mean time, a few screenies for ya. A little demonstration showing that the effect DOES work on animals. Willow's sexy reunion with Big George... Kinda. And now I have a turn with one of the test holos. And a little show.

No Preg, no STDs, no rape robbery, no limb damage, etc. Okay, now that I've gotten the effects working out, I'm working on making the actual NPCs, trying to get them as close to the DM originals. Vera (Aka Starlet) was rather easy. she already had a prexisting template I could use, so she's done. Dean on the other hand is going to take a bit more time and effort to replicate. As I said before, the holograms (the whole holograms, not just the clothes) are basically whole bodysuits that they wear, so their templates are really different than their actual appearance in the GECK. Dean's "real" facial appearance (the one that appears in the geck) looks nothing like the one presented by the hologram, so a lot of editing is required. And since I'm not all that great at matching faces... well, hope for the best. Though I'll try to get it as close as I can. Either way, I should have a small showcase version up soon. It won't have the emitter or the functionality, but it will have the NPCs and critters available in a test room.

And i've been (trying) to use it as a comparison for the NPC. Though I'm not using the DeadMoney bodysuit technique. I'm using the Shader provided in the link above to get the effect, as it's much easier to manage. Right Now i'm trying to figure out how to make the forementioned "SetGhost" setting turn to zero just before sex, and right back on immediately after. The method I'm trying to implement has had... limited success. I've attached this script to all the holos: Scn 00a0SexoutDMHoloscript Ref Me Begin Gamemode If getitemcount 00SexoutAnim > 0 SetGhost 0 Else SetGhost 1 Endif End Begin Menumode If getitemcount 00SexoutAnim > 0 SetGhost 0 Else SetGhost 1 Endif End But for some reason only the female one successfully fucks me (using SexoutSex and Console codes ATM to initiate sex. Will add dialogue later after I get Hologram transmitter menu set up.) On second thought I think I'll start with dialogue. I'm basically using SexoutSex dialogue and scripts as a base for it, with some changes (obviously) and additions

I do not know what combinations of actors and options and animations are currently supported by Sexout. I should probably figure out how to make a list. But try this bit of code on your npc girl's dialog topic: PrintToConsole "%g" GetSelf.GetIsSex Male In other words, if the game thinks she is male, sexout is going to use male animations for her. And to get rid of the dildo, I think you would use actor.removeitem SexoutSStraponDildo 1 the tricks are: getting this code to run afterwards, and getting that "actor" value defined. I think that sexout has a callback mechanism that will run some code for you after sex. I would have to look that up, I have never used it myself. Also, to track the actor I think you should set up a quest and set a reference to her in a quest variable for that quest. If any of this is too obscure, let me know and I can try looking things up and explaining in detail. Another approach to get rid of the dildo would be to set up an effect on her which watches for the disappearance of the sexout control tokens and removes the dildo after they vanish. But I prefer quests over effects. (I have seen behaviors that make me suspect that removing an image space modifier might remove certain kinds of actor effects, but I have not created a proper test for this which means this is paranoia and not information.)

(I mean no deathclaw moaning/dog barking/occasional NPC "hey there", etc?) 5th, still looking for a way to setghost 1 right after sexual intercourse (or during works too, as I sometimes have found out.) ... Yeah, I admit I'm a total noob when it comes to this, and it would probably be a LOT better off in more experienced hands. But if there's one thing I've learned in the decade-plus that I've been wandering the internet, it's that if you're not the one doing something, then odds are no one will. Sexout notify is the way that you detect sex occuring and what type, what I do to make sperm happen at the end of sex in pregnancy is to detect the start of sex using a script based on Notify, check it's vaginal sex then trigger when the SexoutActor token is removed, you can also replace the SexStart formlist with SexEnd, but I haven't tried that yet.

Just like everything else I've ever done or ever will f**king do. I deluded myself into thinking I could do this, that I stood a chance. It's become bleeding obvious to me that I can't do a damn thing. I'm just not f**king competent enough, no mater how much I try to be. I've attached what little I've managed to get so far, in the far flung hope that someone a lot more competent than me will be able to make it a reality, but.... *sigh* I just can't do it. I'm sorry, people....

So, if you have time, I would like to ask you for some basic instructions on how to test your work. Also: specifically, what is it that should be different? How do I get to the point where I can see that, and what is it that you intend to have happen instead?

Not hard to do when you're having a panic attack. First and foremost: you have to enter the test room. to get there, you need to type in coc 00W31HoloTestArea. Not recommended you take anybody in with you, but it shouldn't make any difference. (Alternately, use the attached savegame) Okay, at this point: I'm trying to get Anal (NPC gives) commands working, and creature sex commands. Things wrong that need to be changed at this step: 1. When you ask the starlet for anal sex, she does, but the dildo doesn't go away. 2. When Holograms are done fucking, they should go back into ghost mode (testable by hitting them. If nothing happens they're ghosts. If you make contact and start a fight then they aren't ghosts. Necessary to give holograms their invulnerability.) 3. Creatures do not work at all. The dialogue is there. The script is there, but for some reason they don't work. After this I had planned on several phases (though my confidence in actually getting any of them done is quite shaken considering I can't even get this simple step done) Once that's done I could move on to the other positions (Anal Get, Oral Give, Oral Get, Vaginal Give, Vaginal Get). Basically, your basic "give me sex" or "let me give you sex" dialogues. Then once that's in I could either move on to threesomes (both between 1 holo and 2 humans OR between 2 holos and 1 human. I have NO clue on how that's supposed to even work) and/or holographic "shows" where instead of asking them to fuck you, you have it summon another to it and fuck the other one instead (hence why there's two of each human hologram, as you'll notice). The latter I could do if I could just figure out how the normal sex is supposed to work (I would guess it would not be too hard to trade (Player) for (choose male or female or creature if the current one isn't already one -> Move chosen ref to current one -> set what would be the player's position to this other holo -> grab your dick and some popcorn.) The idea for simulated bondage (simliar to slavery addons) had crossed my mind, but the hell if I have any idea on how i'd pull that off considering I can't even get the basics right. After that I'd assemble the actual emitter and menu and script for that. As well as making the Change Avatar dialogues useful (right now they're in but they don't do anything) and whatnot.
