Now music streaming company also want to know where you are what location on your photo's ext. We all see where this is going right? Totalitarian global control and btw which one country benefit most and all our privacy stored on there clouds. Big Brother US? Who would have thought Europe(companys in europe some also do same make no mistake about that) give up all there privacy to a other country how stupid can you be? Total control thats what there after not only money wise. Am i lucky i don't have anything remotely social media or any website registered plus no smartphone it would make me going paranoid crazy spy/malware company's. Privacy is soon something from the past mark my words. Everyday i come closer and closer to disconnect from the internet back to old school cavemen Up to you if you want this?.. me not so much

Besides if someone from said goverment would spy on something embarrasing or similar of mine, I will never ever meet said person. I just don't get this paranoia. The other day my friend came enraged to me that my smartphone is a goverment weapon rofl. He got the battery out and ripped up the sticker of the battery and revealed some weird looking chip saying goverment agencies spy on my calls using it. I burst out laughing.

The label on the battery? I'm going to guess that it is your phone's NFC antenna.

Granted I don't use, nor have ever used Spotify before, so if those agreements are vastly different than before I wouldn't know, but I don't see the OPs points as anything different from practically any other companies policy old or new. They may not have said before what they collect in writing, but they've always grabbed whatever you throw at them and tried to turn it into a profit. As for the whole privacy thing in general, I don't freak out about it. It seems in peoples nature to intrude on other peoples privacy. Just it was slightly harder before the internet where neighbors had to press the targets friends/family or plaster their face on the targets window or go through the mail to find out what they wanted to know.

Saying it is ultimate it would be like saying to misfortune person that he can just die.

XJ347 Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Thing is you have no real option not to be spied upon. If you want to play computer games you really need to run windows and thus it's spyware. That is my major problem, the lack of an option. True people will say Linux, but emulating a platform to run games doesn't always work and isn't as efficient. For gaming, Linux just really isn't equivalent. As for Spotify, you can just not use it, but same can't be said for your operating system.

They can see all my messed up shit I honestly don't care. I don't do anything illegal on my pc so if they see that im into hardcore sex video game mods then whatever, not like I'll see the person who knows about it.

Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 I only report i don't use any of this (ANTI social ) does not mean i don't know about it, i dig my way through web for tech/science mostly, almost everyday because i like tech and science(while i try avoid being followed ) Some here absolutely missing the whole point about privacy or why against all of this, kind of sad and funny at same time
