As Quick As you like Not Working!

The Quest for the mod "As Quick As You Like" can be found at the captured dreams shop right above the half-moon mill. When i go inside and talk to the master, she says she has something for me . She begins to walk off, but then both her and my character cross their arms and wait. doing nothing? Whats going on? Is there a way to fix this?

Interesting. Quick As You Like is supposed to start in the Winking Skeever in Solitude.

 

I have no idea how it got tangled up in Captured Dreams.

I will go though the the files on the computer to make sure everything is in place. But to be safe, how is the quest line started? I cant find the instructions on the page of the mod, unless im just missing it haha

I found the problem, thanks to you. I went to solitude and began the quest the right way. I got letters from the master of the dreams shop which started quests, so either they are separate or it made the quests start out of order.

Yeah, if several quests have things for the courier to deliver they all arrive at once. I can see how that could get confusing.

thank you for the help, i will let you know if something else comes up. a few bugs have happened but thats because of other mods i have involved, so thats on my end. Other than that, the mod is great and is working so far. I do have a question as to what the creature pack that is needed for animal animations. I dont seem to have the right one for sexlab

Ok so once i get into the cage, now what? the chest is empty, i get into the cage, it closes, then what? i tried falling asleep, it stays locked. i tried masturbating, it stays locked, and my character model stretches out.

ok so the character glitching was a one time thing. but the cage still wont open and there are no new quests available

 

I should really explore this game more and stop doubting that the mod is buggy. Just found the note and key haha sorry

I'm having a couple issues with the QAYL. First quest ran fine, start to finish. Second quest is where I'm starting to see problems. There seems to be significant lag between event calls (e.g. after closing the chest, it takes 10+sec to EPC; Bjorlam takes forever to start "inspecting", and gets stuck between items when getting dressed). With patience and a series of well timed quicksaves and reloads, I managed to get the PC into the cart and strapped in. However, every time Bjorlam starts to wander off for his tankard of mead, I CTD.

 

I'll admit that my modlist is pretty long, and I'll occasionally see start lag for SL animations, but predictable CTD's are sort of a bug I really have heartburn over. 

 

Is there a conflict that I missed, or a load order that is "ideal"?

10 seconds is a long time. There is a bit of a stutter with the chest and I may well take that out entirely now I'm working on the mod again. I get half a second, tops.

 

I don't know a lot of those mods in the load order, but I think some of them must be doing some serious background processing.

 

It's possible that a save game cleaner might help as well. If you've had a lot of mods running and then uninstalled them, (or upgraded without reading the instructions properly), then you may have a ton of scripts thrashing away in busy-loops because they've been baked into your save and the mod they came with isn't there any more.

I've started the second quest, was delivered to Lurgi and Durgi, but now i stand before them, struggling since 5 minutes and nothing happens...

a possible reason might be that "Bathing luxury suite" is active, which changes dialogues, after delivered a dialogue opened, but neither "..." nor "Mmph" brought me to anything else than the usual Dialogue options, and once closed, i'm too far away from Durgi to talk to him again and i can't move (not in first person either).

If there should be a dialogue, could somebody tell me how it should look like, so i can try to get it? If anything else should happen, what can i do to make it happen?

So far, i love this mod and would like to go on
