This beautiful song always moves me to tears. Elfen Lied is a great anime with a charakter of tearjerker, for me. The threads about suffering and complicated love in it.. They were more than once teared my heart from pain and made me feel of compassion for some characters.

This gets a like not because the music (though it is good) but because it looks like a story I need to check out.

Also, hate running out of likes, guess that is the curse of having  an expansion taste in music ...like this one:

Here's a pair of songs that I got a story attached to:

So back in the day I was searching Napster for this song:

When I accidentally bumped into this one:

Both good. But the funny part is that, I ended up liking the second one so much I played it almost non-stop. A month or so later, while I was on vacation with my parents in Las Vegas, the Flamingo hotel elevator was also playing that second song almost all the time. But now that I look back on these I see something that I couldn't before. Back then a lot of us had so much hope and excitement for the future, and what it held. Though 20 some odd years later and I can now see that the future is, and has turned out to be, complete shit.

So I guess the moral is that no matter what, enjoy your time while you can, because it'll only get worse over the years. No matter how much the 'happy delusional' ones will tell you.

Glad you liked my recommendation of Elfen Lied and that you have an open heart to others.? Be aware that watch this anime might take a serious toll / affect on your psyche.?

Hmm.. The context of gospel music changed significantly at the end of the 18th century. Today, by rules / articles established  in special Convention.
- we are no longer dealing with broadly defined slavery that had taken place in the past. (human trafficking, using them as a work force, etc. )
Every woman and men, regardless of race - they're a free human being. :) However, it's known that world is not perfect place and everyone faces many adversities in life on a daily basis.?

Kirk said: "This song is dedicated to people like me those that struggle with insecurities, acceptance and even self esteem, you never felt pretty enough,
you never felt good enough but imagine God whispering in your ear telling you it's all gone.."

Performing gospel music, like prayer, is one way to express gratitude to God for the goods given to us. It might have the character of praise / worship, be kind of call for Divine Providence.. for Him help. :) The supreme goal / objective of this is the proclamation of the Word of God. I believe that black people bestowed America with an invaluable legacy / heritage thanks their music. They were put their suffering, grief, despair, and hope for freedom into it.

Those movies are important to how some of us grow and gain a different perspective.    As for the gospel, thanks for those two songs, very powerful.
