Doctor Demento...lol

I was surprised to find out that Doctor Demento was nation wide and wasn't just based out of Chicago.  We had to wait on clear nights to listen to him (because of ducting)

Dude, I live in Canada.  We had that too.  He was great. :)

Also, is that what they told you for lousy reception?   LMAO!
Well, I think if the towers were actually far enough apart that the earth's curvature mattered, there ought to be at least one more tower...lol

I know, I know...70s...who thought of that shit?  :P

I mean, that is quite true, but can easily be beaten by adding more towers, and upping the bandwidth/wavelength (which they have - cell towers). ;)

Well, I'm in Colorado. And I remember staying up late with my father on X-Mas breaks as a kid, just to hear the show as it aired. Any other time my father would just set a timer on the stereo system to record it so we could hear it later.

And I know it's a bit 'early' for this one, but what the hell, it's another Dr. Demento classic.

UGH!  It's not even October yet...do you work for Walmart by chance?  LOL!

Seriously though; we need Halloween first at least.

No I don't. But I wouldn't be the first one; I literally saw a commercial on T.V. advertising a 'Black Friday' (November day after thanksgiving holiday sales date) sale back in Aug. I can't remember what store it was for, but at very least I don't have that embarrassment. But here's a good one for 'Día de los Muertos' (Day of the Dead):

Another "heard it first" on Dr. Demento..

Ahh, from back in a time when Star Wars was actually good, and hadn't yet been completely bastardized for a group of people that probably never cared about it in the first place.

Speaking of 'them'; Here's a song that just mentioning 'them' brings up these kinda thoughts:
