I'm so sad that HM was ruined for me as a teen. I fucking adore the progressions and musicality of Manowar  Some douche grease hair mullet dude used to blast heavy metal on his shoulder radio every god damn day. After I got into metal, it's still one of the only sub-genres I don't listen to, I can't listen to it without that bad taste in my mouth.
