The original script was for a full 26 episodes, but it was after they started making it an anime that it got shortened to only 13... Angel Beats Also, DanMachi and The Sacred Blacksmith.

They did all Queen's Blade off of a couple of light novels/manga so they can do the same for Akatsuki, unless the 'I am such a pussy' anime-male-protagonist thing from the last year is still in play.
Guest Jain Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I really wish they carried on the original Berserk anime, I know they released the movies and brought back the original voice actors but I prefer the style the old anime had and how it carried much of the detail that was in the manga. Also its not an anime I know but the Spawn series...Neither anime was really cancelled but they both left off right at the pivotal moment of their respective stories.
VenturousGamer Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Fooly Cooly (aka FLCL). It needs to be immediately rebooted with a new vision while utilizing the original vision. I'm not joking; this anime is literally all over the place with the plot, character development, humor, and everything else. The irony is that I love the series and will never sell my home video copy because it's such a deep guilty pleasure for me. The other major problem with the series other than everything else I've mentioned is that it only lasted for six episodes... ...AND NOTHING HAPPENED. Okay, I take that back. Something did happen, well a lot of crazy things happened throughout like it was a mental asylum patient going on a bath salt binge, and since then it's been one of the biggest unresolved anime adaptations of all time. Hardly anybody can explain the story without a long period of awkward silence because it doesn't focus on one thing. The best way I can explain it is that this asocial boy named Naota and a crazy chick named Haruko Haruhara (for now we're calling her "Psychotic Guitar Chick") quickly becomes companions after she purposely runs him over with a scooter motorcyle in the first episode (oops, spoilers) and helps him later learn all of this crazy stuff about this horn embedded within his head that gets bigger either every time something bad is about to happen and/or someone is horny. I'm not joking...If there's danger and/or if someone is sexually aroused, it gets bigger like an actual phallus. I could go on but that's just a small fraction of all of the stuff that happens that leaves you utterly appalled and awed. For example; there's a segment in the series where a robot fight breaks out inside of a high school classroom and nobody, not even the staff, does anything about it but watch! Nobody questions it or even reports what happened to the authorities by the time it's over. Let's not even stop there; there's also an entire episode devoted to every character purposely trying to murder each other with a long list of weaponry as if it's the movie Battle Royale (go figure) and nobody questions it! People are getting shot and blown up all over the place and even the police are doing it because hey, that's anime for you! They even had the balls to break the fourth wall as if we didn't already know the show was insane enough.
