[Outdated] Lovers Magic 0.53 Re-Up

Question(s).

 

I created a rape slave doll and left her in a safe area where there would be no one trying to kill her (Bravil Sea Domes, actually) so I could have some fun later. So I leave for a good while and come back, and there she is on the ground, dead. Or was she? It would appear that the game had not yet registered her as dead, but she had all the qualities of a dead NPC - doesn't do much and you can take their shit. Whenever I tried to interact with her in any way, be it raping her, casting createrapeslavedoll, punching her, whatever, she would then register as dead in the game (I reloaded a save a few times to experiment, for those confused). Upon examining her body, all that was there was the 100 magicka essences I had given her.

 

Part of me believes that this is part of the mod, that dolls die out when not used often. But the larger part of me thinks that's bullshit, and that there was a glitch or something.

 

What I'm trying to ask here is:

1. What happened

2. Why this might have happened

3. How I can keep my dolls from randomly dying in the future

I've noticed sort of similar stuff now and then. I think it has something to do with the respawn qualities not really being turned off by the spell. In my case, I've left Rape Slave Dolls in safe locations (I like the basement of Castle Tantrivaylia), given them an order using MCS to "Wait Here", gone off for a few game weeks, and come back to find them just gone. Sometimes they've wandered out, which is an AI issue, but sometimes they've just plain vanished.

 

I don't really know a fix to this glitch, but you might try using your favorite companionship spells or Set Essential Actors to set the doll to essential no respawn and see if that helps.

There is a problem with respawns using LoversMagic on temporary actors such as Bandits. They will disappear or just die. If you check the Quest Attributes Dialog Topic you will see a warning about it. I just don't enslave bandits and such and with guards I use a modified script to remove their respawn flag and add them to the PlayerFaction. In LoversMagic there is also a timer that should count down using 1 SE point for every 30? Minutes till it hits zero, but that should only function if the player is in the same cell.

Nope, it's in Japanese, I'm trying to translate it now belgianwiz. And lolicatgirls9, I don't think the problem with persistant actors can be fixed as that's a limitation of the game engine, not the mod.

So could you post the change notes that came with .60 even if the patch isn't finished being translated it'd be nice to know whats forthcoming

I don't see any such mod. I made a search for "magic" and the most recent version seems to be 0.56 but there is no file for it. If you know of any translated version above 0.54 please link.

Hello! I am playing around with this mod (although only version .50 because everything else I have tried has readmes I cannot read) and I keep hearing people mention MadCompanion Spell or something along those lines. I would like to give this a shot but the problem is it only exists in Japanese from what I can tell. Does anyone know of a working, English version of this mod so I may utilize it as well? Sorry to bother, I know it is mentioned and linked on the first page but when I try to go to the directed link it says, "You do not have permission to access this page." which I think means it isn't there anymore. I think.

Oh it's alright and to be honest I do use the search function, I just kept ending up going to forums threads about other subjects and spending way too long shuffling through each page trying to find a link and whenever I did it gave me that message so I started to get frustrated.

You guys have probably already noticed. But because of other games and short space of harddrive.

I decided to remove all contents of oblivion to make space for other games like New vegas and skyrim

 

And because of this i no longer support oblivion or will update or create new content for it. Because of this

I give permission for others who wants to make new additions based of my work to continue with there progress.

 

The only thing i do ask. If you are using anything from me not to forget to mention my name, because i spend allot

of time creating those mods and translations.

The only mod i did not give permission to create new stuff is animation project, because i don't want anyone messing that one up since i spend most of time creating that one. it was created from the ground up, so all of it was my own work.

So I just wanted to say thanks, I like this mod. I also wanted to say that it works well using the noMBP mpatch/replacer .esp, which leads me to ask - why exactly does this mod have a dependency on MBP anyway? Is it for the resurrect spell?

Holy crap, huge necro bump! :P It's okay though.

 

Version .61 is out here if you want to switch to that version.

 

As for MBP dependency, it's not the resurrection spell that requires it, it would be any new NPC added or possibly an edited one that uses MBP like the succubus.
