9tailedfox Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I have a lot of mods but not one messes with the music track except Fantasy Soundtrack mod which only plays the dragonborn theme song 99% of the time the one percent is me lowering the volume or by a miracle something different plays in the loading screen for 5 seconds. Please save my ears!
Guest Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 get the witcher one! witcher music = ohmahwgwad!!!1211111
HongChina Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 There's a mod that let's you import your own music as mods and has playlists for scenarios, I believe it's called Personal Music mod It even has a version that completely disables the vanilla music, if you don't like it  I ended up going through a lot of my Falcom music and adding it in there, goes really well with the game. I need to fix some volume levels on a few of the songs though
LFFLY Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 get the witcher one! witcher music = ohmahwgwad!!!1211111 Well Witcher music is really good. But for Witcher, not for skyrim. I personally don't like Witcher music in Skyrim, i tested it but it was meh :/

9tailedfox Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 I ditched the mod but i still hear only one song. I looked at someone putting in their own songs and all you have to do is convert them to xwm which FS has already done so, if they are the same format as the original skyrim song, then i don't see why it wouldn't play. It worked before i inserted the blob of mods i have now, is it possible it's just being overrun by mods? even though none of my mods change or deal with the music file for skyrim songs, sounds maybe but songs, no. Â Am i supposed to have a music folder for skyrim because if i am, it's missing.
HongChina Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 I don't believe so, if it should exist, it would be data/sound/music/ I have a music folder, but that's specifically for the music mod I have. Nothing to do with vanilla music. Check in your mod program to see if there's any left-over ESPs activated somewhere from anything, something that didn't get removed properly or something?
9tailedfox Posted July 15, 2015 Author Posted July 15, 2015 I do not have a data/sound/music/ path, all i have is data/sound/fx/ and a data/sound/voice/ Â Â
Shadowscale Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Try use a script cleaner to remove the leftover script on your save. Its probably embeded in it is why your probably hearing it still since it sounds like a script to call up any of the game's music.
9tailedfox Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 I have this on mod organizer and can't seem to find the save game so its useless for me at the moment    HongChina Posted 10 July 2015 - 04:51 AM Member Members 51 posts There's a mod that let's you import your own music as mods and has playlists for scenarios, I believe it's called Personal Music mod It even has a version that completely disables the vanilla music, if you don't like it  I ended up going through a lot of my Falcom music and adding it in there, goes really well with the game. Quieter music fits night time exploring, festive music go well in taverns, powerful and dramatic stuff is excellent for combat, etc. Put your file in the corresponding subfolder in the main Music folder.  The game is a wizard, there is no music file at all in my skyrim data folder, i had a bsa but it disappeared for no reason at all without even saying goodbye  Â
9tailedfox Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 i think i finally found the problem and i don't like it. I was reading through one of my mods which just happens to be a weather mod and i cant install Climates of Tamriel so i have Pure Weather. Important note about Audio overhaul:Weather mods and audio mods often conflict, and that's also the case with Pure Weather. So the mod won't be fully compatible with Audio Overhaul for Skyrim and Sounds of Skyrim. You can find a compatibility patch for AOS2 here (Thx to keithinhanoi ). so does this mean my Fantasy Soundtrack has nothing wrong with it and that Pure Weather is blocking my music files? Â
Killing Joke Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Played with Fantasy soundtrack for a while and never had any problem with it, so most likely an incompatibility. Adding or modifying music in skyrim means editing worldspaces, something that... weather and lighting mods also do. See if there's a patch or even if you can create one yourself with tes5edit by merging edits from both mods.
Sarathis Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I don't have any insight into your mod issue but, as for music, I find that the soundtrack to the original Conan the Barbarian goes really well with Skyrim. Can't go wrong with Basil Poledouris.
Blackness blackness is... Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 just turn it off. like me . It's way more realistic without music.
