Downloaded S7B Magna Carta Bombshell BBP

It has some other armors that don't have textures or meshes, but they show up in Blacksmithing. How do I get rid of them or how do I make them have textures and meshes?

1 Download nifskope http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftools/files/

2 Open the S7B Magna Carta Bombshell BBP to see where all of the meshes get placed at in your game folder. Load up one of those nifs that are not working correctly into nifskope click render - settings - and follow your folder path for your skyrim game to the data folder then click the data folder and click ok this should now render any nif in your skyrim directory when you load a nif in your skyrim folder unless 1 the texture paths are missing/incorrect in the nif or 2 the item is using in game textures that come from the BSA those ones will only render in game and not in nifskope unless you extract them from the BSA and place them into the correct folder path.

Now that you have things rendering in nifskope reload one of those nifs and click one of the armor/outfit pieces and look under the highlighted line for BSShaderTextureSet in the left list click arrow to the left to get the drop down then the arrow next to textures if the texture path is really long double click it to highlight it and copy it and then paste the path into notebook for easy checking. Now check your texture folder path with the folder path inside the nif if they do not match they need to changed so that they match. You will need to do this for both the _0 and _1 nifs of each items since skyrim has 2 of each items for a nif otherwise nothing will change in game if you don't do both.

Other option is to load up the .esp into the CK (creation kit) and delete the armor pieces out of the .esp then overwrite it to change it.

It could be the file you have downloaded is a replacer in which case you will still need the original mod for the meshes/textures, check in the file you downloaded if there are not meshes/textures directories then it is a reaplcer and you should check on the page you downloaded it from as to where to get the original file, install that then overwrite with the S7B Magna Carta Bombshell BBP, same goes for the other armours without meshes/textures check to see if they are replacers ie, do they have meshes/texture folders and files, if not you will need to find the orignal armour mods for them.

Alright, I did this but can someone explain something to me in the interest of learning about the creation kit?

This mod has Skyrim.esm as it's Master. So a bunch of warnings come up when I load it up. I am assuming that is due to Skyrim.esm as it's master. If this is true then doesn't that mean that this will overwrite literally everything Unofficial Skyrim Patch does? Because it loads later? As I understand load order, things that load later have precedence.

Thank you for any help.

Things that load later do have precedence, but that's only relevant when two mods alter the same thing and only applies to that one thing. Most armour mods will only add armour in, not change records from the main skyrim.esm, and so won't conflict with the USKP. If you do find yourself in a situation where a mod makes a change to something already changed by the USKP I believe using either TES5Edit to make a merged patch, Wrye Bash to make a bashed patch, or both, will allow everything to work together assuming they are at all compatible.

And don't worry, getting errors when loading anything in the Creation Kit is entirely normal. Just click "Yes To All" or "Ignore All" when you see one. They generally don't mean anything, and the rare ones that are actually important will prevent you from loading the Kit at all until you fix whatever problem caused them.

Mind if I ask one more question regarding Mod Etiquette? I actually have even another question beyond that regarding NavMesh but I'll just open a new thread for that since it's an entirely different topic and this one question I have is relevant to the current topic.

So after "fixing" this mod I took the liberty of fixing all my other mods that have issues. For the most part, this meant adding inventory models so they show correctly or adding a craft or temper recipe. I don't think adding things like this are wildly out of sorts with the mod authors intention. They didn't add them since they were lazy.

Can I reupload these somewhere? Is that okay to do? Most of these mods also represent a 3rd party software like Magna Carta, Nier, and DMC.
