Overhauls Vipcxj's Real High Heels to correct alignment during Lovers sex.

 

If real high heels are worn during sex or set to be stripped, the character will automatically lower to preserve alignment with their partner and rise again after sex.

 

Also corrects floating when sleeping with real high heels (must activate bed while in third person).

Tested with vanilla Lovers / LAPF and with Lovers Extender and LoversMB2.
If it breaks any other Lovers mods please let me know.

Lovers with PK

 

Original Real High Heels mod if not already installed (be sure not to overwrite your LPK/LAPF skeleton):

I was gonna try this out but the original mod wants to mess with my skeleton. I had stretching boobies problems that took a while to sort out so im nervous about installing anything that changes the skeleton. Is this safe with LAPF etc?

Never overwrite your LAPF Skeleton !

Never unzip a Mod in your game Folder ( if you want to mess up your game you can do it), ALWAYS unpack a Mod and check what's inside, delete what you don't want or need, then install it.

 

LAPF Skeleton works with the Real High Heels System.

Real High Heels Skeleton does not works with LAPF.

I have been trying this mod, and I think it's a nice addition to LAPF for those who use many RHH clothings and armors like myself.

I have to report a couple of problems, however:

 

- occasionally the LAPF animation looks off, with one actor position shifted by 90 degrees respect to the other.

I can't say for sure if the same happened also with the standard Vipcxj's RHH mod.

 

- often I get a script error in the console (something about a "let" statement failing to evaluate for object xxyyyyy), probably due to the particular outfit I am using, or the related LAPF undressing setting. The outfit is DMknit403B.nif from "AGS-Type2 SMDR Outfits-45729-1-1.7z" (located in meshes\armor\speedbuster\DMKnit4 folder) and I have it set as "unstrippable" (it's a mini-dress that covers only the upperbody).

Could be as you say: in fact, I started my game with the standard Vipcxj's mod, then replaced it with the Lovers version "on the fly". Rebuilding the Bashed Patch wasn't required in my case, as my RHH mod is loaded after, although I have reason to doubt it could have been merged anyway. Most certainly the error message will vanish in my next playthrough. Besides, I keep playing normally, the error doesn't affect the game at all.

I posted just to let you know, but it seems you were already aware of the issue.

As for the misalignment, it happens rarely. Seeing my characters with their feet on the ground again is a fair trade off.

When I run, the camera starts bobbing up and down, just like the PC's head does in 3rd person. When I turn left or right, the camera snaps back about 30 degrees -- the same way the PC's head rotates in 3rd person view. Once it starts happening, I can fix it by going barefoot and then swapping from 1st to 3rd person and back. But everytime I load my game or rest or anything, it starts happening again. Uninstalling Enhanced Camera doesn't seem to help.

Does the problem happen only with this version installed or with the original version as well?

 

To isolate you might try:

-Clean save

-New game

-New game with only the bare minimum mods activated to test:  Oblivion.esm, VipCxj_HighHeels.esp, real high heels outfit (also ensure no camera control related DLLs are installed in the OBSE plugins folder).

I'm having an issue with npc height not reseting after unequipping heels or equipping boots that aren't heels. The only thing that resets height back to normal is restarting the game or loading another save. Though I'm not sure if this issue is caused by this .esp specifically or that I'm just using Vip_cxj's mod incorrectly. ( I recently installed both pretty much at the same time ) 

 

I've tried clean saves, new game, rebuilt bash, no bash, LAPF off, lowest load order.. and still the same result.

 

 

Help me understand these two settings under "HighHeelsController" menu; Level Set & Auto Open System. I'm confused on what exactly they do and think MAYBE I'm using them wrong or something. 

 

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I was about to disable everything and retry, but I played some more and found that if I swap 'non heel' footwear twice, they reset their height. Or if they ( npc ) simply keep one heeled pair and one non heeled armored pair, height adjusts properly when changing npc from relax to follow and vice versa. ...that and fast travel resets height. 

 

It's when you want bare feet that it doesn't want to work first try. I'm ok with the 'double trade' fix. I'm not changing the heels out that often for it to bug me THAT much.

 

On the bright side, this .esp runs fine with LAPF. Nice work. 

 

 

 

I'll spare you the eyesore of looking through my mod list. lol. Thanks anyway.

@FantasyFunk - I've always left Level Set and Auto Open at defaults. I think Level Set allows one to manually set the height for the shoes / outfit. 

 

@QTT - strippedRHH tokens should only be added to the player or NPCs if they are wearing high heels and footwear is removed during sex.  The tokens should be removed at the conclusion.  Stuck tokens isn't something I've seen happening, but let me know if any particular events seem to trigger it.

I haven't been able to replicate the issue (tried a new game and wore heels in 1st person for an extended time without problems).  I think VipCxjHHTest.esp is a test ESP and normally shouldn't be used / active.  Maybe try a clean save?

Is there any way to make this plugin function without having the Controller item in your inventory? I would love that feature.

It is a misc item  and I can find no settings and ways to set it to "invisible" ( Or Non-Playable like armor and clothes)

 

You can try to change the VipHighHeelsController from misc item to clothes item and set it to Non-Playable.

Then change the VipCxjHighHeelsAddScript and add the new clothes item.

 

I would keep the old misc item and start the game, delete the misc item with console. 

Player.removeItem xx005A04 1

Replace the xx with the VipCxj_HighHeels.esp load order ID number

save the game.

Then you can delete the misc item in the esp, or ignore it.

 

I don't like and use highHeels I can not test it. But here a changed esp

Thank you for investigating! Unfortunately the heels don't raise after equipping them without the controller in the inventory. You can like... add the ChangeHeightToSelf spell, cast it, remove it, and reload saves but once you go to the main menu or exit the game it seems to forget the height again. I thought about different ways to tackle the problem but couldn't really come up with anything. Simply doing whatever ChangeHeightToSelf does once upon game load would be sufficient, but I don't really know how to use the Construction Set and don't really understand how the scripting works.

 

I'll try changing the item type.

Oh, I see! It works after you player.additem the Controller again, but this time it's the clothes type... and it definitely is invisible in the inventory! I don't know if it matters, but I also changed the record header of the item to the "Ignored" type, but it probably works as is. Thank you so much!
