Can any1 recommend to me some games as well. I kinda prefer games like Naked Order and Violated Heroine (play as female, can choose to (or not) get raped). Doesn't have to be rpg style as well.

Have you visited ryonani? Many of the games discussed there have a female protagonist in miserable situations, most often getting raped.

Roguetranslations' patch only translates the onsen and capital regions in the Oct. 25 version of the game. The version you downloaded is probably too new for the patch to cover. (I.e. the text has been changed since the version the patch was created for)

Yes but as far as it goes it is machine translation. And also you will need translated img for status screens.

 

Which mean, it is poor translated and sometimes out of place.

 

There is actually a new translation project going for VH, building off Roguetranslation's.  The thing is, the game is under constant development, releasing a couple new patches a week or so, and any time one of the old lines gets changed, the translation for it gets wiped as well, since it might no longer be valid.  Still, you can download pre-patched versions on the wiki or even help contribute to the project if you want.  VH probably won't ever be fully translated, but a lot of the important bits are, and it's totally playable.

There should be several choices right below the text with selection bubbles next to them that you select and then press next at the bottom. If there are none to be found then you probably chose on without any choices available or the current choices are under review. Many of the stories are unfinished or really short and take time for any new ones to pop-up.

Hmm, I'm currently playing the 130530 prepatched translated version of Violated Heroine and am experiencing extreme lag in the Hot Springs Town. Is there any way to fix this or is it just my PC or the version? Also how recent is the version I'm using? I tried navigating the labyrinth of threads/sites about that game and my mind became a mess of confusion Hehe.

In my version there is a lot of game but most of Hot Springs Town (Starting city) and the Capital seem to be translated. Still a lot of unimplemented stuff and the other two playable characters are really unfinished. Still a massive WIP it seems. It's pretty playable and fun in its current form though.

 

In some areas or events you'll have a lot of translated text, some Japanese, then more translated so it seems really haphazard.

 

I'm trying to learn the tools since I have a lot of free time due to no longer being able to play Oblivion or FNV so maybe I can devote some energies to it... if it's even feasible since I'm not sure if they've slowed down their constant updating yet or not...

I got my game nearly all translated. Fucksands' Assembla SVN keeps nearly up with the new versions that come out. They translate nearly everything in the game.

1. A Subversion Client like TortoiseSVN.

2. Habisains's RPGMaker translation tool

3. a Place to download the patch too.
