IFPV vs. Enhanced Camera

What are your opinions on the two mods? 

Which is better for Sexlab and which is better adventuring/playing the game?

IFPV for sexlab, period, for the game itself I wanna try the beta of IFPV because it removes a lot of disadvantages IFPV has over Enhanced Camera. But because Enhanced Camera is a vanilla 1st person with the body, it is a little bit more compatible with the game itself. But because IFPV has a better visual appearance than Enhanced Camera because of animations and all, I would take IFPV over Enhanced Camera.

When using IFPV with SexLab, sometimes in certain animations the camera would turn to the opposite direction you were actually facing. Is there any improvements on that issue?

That's caused by a certain hotkey, i don't remember exactly which ones that were but it was somewhere in the vicinity of "g" "h" "c" "v".

 

Also immersive first person view can be toggled with a hotkey forcing u in that mode, I use both IFPV and enhanced camera, I just toggle the IFPV view when I want; mainly when I want to experience first person sex

That is the maker of the animations fault not IFPV, that is just he 3rd person camera rotated badly.

Personally? EC because IFPV gives me nausea and is quite hard to use in normal game. For Sexlab this is different, but EC basically does what IFPV does without the wonky camera.

If your just wanting first person sex there are options in the ini file to force a better 1st person view on during forced animations.  You can also adjust the near view clipping, turn on hair, and quite a number of other things.

 

Although its been over a year since I used the other one so I've no idea if definitive improvements were made so playing the game would actually be possible.

 

The main trouble with using true 1st person options with either one full time after the obvious weird motion sickness.

 

The trouble is that most of the animations you just cant see so its a pain to even know what I just did in combat D:

does anyone use IFPV full time with cbbe and xp32? if so could they send me their settings?

 

EDIT: I just want to know the FirstPersonPlugin.text settings to make it look like enhanced camera for all actions.

Eh, I use the newer version of IFPV, not the older one. The newer one is a simple SKSE plugin that makes your first-person automatically use IFPV. I actually like it, though the controls take some getting used to. No need for a MCM or seperate hotkey to use it, it is all automatic when you switch to first-person now.

I think it really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a 1st person view especially for sex then ifpv I think is a better choice. If you mostly play in 3rd person then EC I think is better. Me I play the game mostly in 3rd person the only time I go to 1st person is sometimes to pick things up or interact with things and for shooting a bow. Other than that it is all 3rd person. So which is better I think has a lot to do with your play style.

Anyone have their settings to share for the new IFPV, used to have it all set with the old one but since they changed to not have an MCM I'm lost and my character clips horribly in sexlab scenes. So if anyone has their settings and wouldn't mind sharing I would appreciate it.
