[Sims 3][WiP] Adult Career Pack 1.2

After reading up and watching a couple of vids with zerbus mod i have concluded that it works the way it should (or so i assume).

 

But i still have a problem with the massagetable not being usable, and also a bug with my sim not being able to level up her skill (leveling up same skill over and over.) I have a tiny suspection this is related to KW. Also the KW interactions doesn`t seem to have any influence on her job performance..

 

I`ll try to take out zerbus mod tomorrow since the few objects usable for spa is using mirror/phone at the spa , and that isn`t exactly what I would prefer to see a ho doing at work

I've downloaded the main mod: do I need all the different rug downloads?

Also, are there any templates such as the school one in the nraas guide available for download? Can;t seem to find anything to replace default locations with and don;t really have the time to invest building scratch ones right now

I have made a spa...but since i both decrapify and use cc magic i am afraid that is of no use for you :/

 

I have only the jynx spa rabbithole door along with zerbus mod along with cinderellimouse`s tuner

Certainly, my apologies about the proper part-time jobs taking this long.

 

1. Open up the prostitution data package in S3PE.

2. Edit PHHo.Careers.

3. Find the relevant career levels and change the values of <StartTime> and <DayLength> to whatever works for you.

Well it's just rabbit holes and some text so nothing much. Misleading screenshots on sexysims though. Other than that I guess being a rabbit hole hooker beats working at the rabbit hole grocery store. Now if we could get these kind of careers as active careers like Ambitions introduced then this would be something great. Already walked in on my daughters cyber woohooing with random guys on their laptops so 'cam girl' would be a neat active career.

I'm ok with rabbit hole careers IF they have many random events... like MANY! Like two unique events for each level and then some that are shared.

 

I could care less if they have pictures or not since they will not look like my character.

 

In a perfect world I would like non rabbit hole, with random events on top of it but I am not going to expect that...

TBH I always started employment via the master controller...

 

Is your character a teen? If so then it will not show.

Can always use the master controller mod to force employment. If not there then it isn't installed.

Make sure the mod is in the right folder.

If young adults or older can't get the Porn and Prostitution jobs:

 

Please make sure you're using the latest version of NRaas Careers and any optional modules you may have installed.

 

What language are you playing in?

 

Try installing NRaas Error Trap, loading any save game, unpausing, and see if you get any error messages. If so, please upload any ScriptError files that show up in your Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder.

I think he's talking about the screenshots on SXS, and I suppose the cash register does suggest things that aren't true. When I find something more suitable, I change them. But yeah, considering the link to NRaas Careers is after the rabbit hole mention, I think Carpetmuncha wasn't being too serious. 

 

The update is coming tomorrow though, which includes the first profession.

Have you tried going to the main menu and then back to your game? I had the same problem and that worked for me.

Man, I'm starting to hate this loading screen. Almost done now, July 1st unless something crazy happens.

 

Definite additions:

-Four part-time careers added for adults:

  -Sperm Donor, male only

  -Hobby Ho

  -Phone Sex Operator

  -SimsTube Amateur

-New Stripper part-time career for teens.

-Prostitution now includes several non-rabbit hole assassination opportunities. Get a gun or take a more supernatural approach, and eliminate the competition!

-72 new chance cards across all careers.

-Prostitutes now risk getting pregnant when accepting certain side jobs. 

-Females in the porn industry now have a separate career, to allow for more gender-specific text. This unfortunately means existing progress in porn will be lost for females, this time only. 

-Finnish translation for older content, thanks to hope-K. 

-Removed many static mentions of cities, and replaced them with your current town. 

-Prostitution has relocated to the Day Spa.

-SimsTube has relocated to the Office Building.

-Prostitution has yet another icon. Unisex be damned!

-Amateur Porn’s icon now matches the adult equivalent. 

-Fixed a text error in one of the Prostitution chance cards.

-All career data is now properly stored in a single package.

-First profession: Surrogacy, females only. Still major issues, may be delayed.

Just a couple of questions. The gun mod, have you used it in a game patched to 1.67? The comments at modthesims are a bit vague but some people report problems with crashes. Have`nt used Nraas careers and relativity, do you find that they add any lag to the game? I`m a bit hesitant at having too many script mods in my game.

I've been using Desecrate's Weapons System for a few months on 1.67, and I've never experienced a crash. 

 

NRaas Relativity isn't required, but it fixes the issue that time simply goes by far too quickly for certain actions, like cooking and driving to work. It can certainly cut down on your game's performance, so if you're very worried about lag, I wouldn't recommend using it.  

 

NRaas Careers barely performs any actions other than injecting custom careers, and adding a few rewards and opportunity parameters. It's very low profile and won't affect your performance.
