Follower locked in Fighting Stance

After a sex scene (initiated by Submit) one of my followers is stuck in the fighting stance. I.e. he doesn't move by himself anymore and keeps his weapon ready. I can interact with him normally, but he never gets out of his fighting mode, not even after dismissing him from the party.

 

Does anyone know a command to fix him or knows a mod that has a MCM option to fix or reset stuck followers?

 

I use EFF 4.0 by the way, but I don't think it's related to my problem.

Have you tried opening the console clicking them and typing in disable hit enter then trying in enable to see if that fixes it? You can also try clicking on them typing kill if they are essential just type in kill again to make them stand back up if they are not essential then type in resurrect.

I tried to kill him using the command, but he's essential. After coming out of the crowling mode, he's in fighting stance again. I even tried to remove his essential flag (setessential id 0) but he's still not killable?!

 

Disable/Enable didn't help either, he comes back and is still locked.

 

BTW, even though he's in fighting stance, he doesn't fight anything around him, even if it's aggressive.

when followers get stuck i've found using the matchmaker spell on them usually fixes it, you have to let them do their animation but once its over they start acting normal again

Resetai in command? Have you tried getting into an actual fight and see if that fixes it when the fight is over?

Nope, didn't help either.

 

What helped, though, was to disable Submit + DD Progression. There seems to be a bug in there. I'll report that to the appropriate thread.
