Loogie Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Way back in the long ago I read an interview with either Chris Avellone or Josh Sawyer. The flag that allows things to not be affected by barter - and thus effectively treated like money - is one of the engine changes between Fallout 3 and NV. I'd guess the MISC items are versions of the money from before the change or used in some kind of testing.
jaam Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Anybody has the ID for that note (I saw 5 20 and 100 but no 10) ? I can't find and I am curious about any FNVedit warning it could generate.
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Quick test in GECK and FNVEdit of taking an NCR 20 from CMNY and dropping it on the floor in a random cell, saved fine, no problems in fnvedit. Didn't try with the MISC since I think it's useless. and Jaam too. Here the FNVEdit warning
jaam Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Thanks. EDIT: It was corrected since 3.0.32, use the "nightly" from here : http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/topic/3750-wipz-tes5edit/page-1&do=findComment&comment=146831
prideslayer Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Ah. Last time this happened, it was me with the error, and AJ with the newer FNVEdit.
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 AFKMODS?!?!?!?!?! Why you people spread different versions of mods all around the net?
prideslayer Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 AJ you can just use the one from nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? Once you've downloaded it, just rename it to FNVEdit. They are the same program (as is FO3Edit), what they're named when run determines how they behave. I think people are 'giving up' on updating all three of them on nexus every time a new version is out, the fnvedit one is a version behind (3.0.31).
jaam Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 FNVEdit on Nexus is 3.0.32 and it will correct this. But I strongly recommend 3.0.33 for FNV, there was a major bug since the very first FNV version, and it is also way faster.
KainsChylde Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Where would you find 3.0.33? Even the Bethesda blog only references 3.0.32 experimental.

Halstrom Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Anybody has the ID for that note (I saw 5 20 and 100 but no 10) ? I can't find and I am curious about any FNVedit warning it could generate. The $10 & $50 are from a money adding mod.
prideslayer Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Well then I'm getting into AJs bandwagon.. what is this afkmods thing? Why aren't the downloads just being put on the google code downloads section I wonder?
jaam Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 It's not finished yet. Zilav wants to finish TES5lod first before a complete release. The forum was to accelerate bug fixes and experimental things while avoiding the newbees.
