@xNightsx  KW is a simulator: There are checks done by the scripts to make it more realistic. Open the settings and look over the options, other wise you will not know what you or the mod are doing. Start using LoversLab search feature - this has ALL been answered before - multiple times.....

hello guys new here just wanted to say that when playing the sims 3 with your mod I get random crashs

Any other mods? If so, remove everything except KW (and NRaas if used) and try again. If everything runs fine - then obviously there is a conflict with one or more other mods. You can troubleshoot using the Dashboard tool, or use the old fashioned way: Replace other mods and test till the offending party is identified - Troubleshooting 101.

okay I did that and still it crashs first it freezes for a second the music stops then the game closes by it's self here is the script error

again also here's a screen shot of my mods I'm using also if it helps it said my version was 3.0 in game did I download the wrong file?

Reality is that Oniki seems to have gotten pissed off at LL, removed build 375, which works well enough, replaced it with build 399, which has more bugs than a roach motel, and the version you have, that isn't much better than 399, but has far fewer options. Go back to page 644 or 645. Landess uploaded his public version of 375 from before Oniki removed it. It's the most stable we have around here.

Okay seems I installed the older build I downloaded the newest one and i didn’t experience any crashes so it was because I had an older build thanks for the help everyone

Thanks for helping document a problem AND a solution. Others can benefit IF they read....

 

 

I still have copies going back to KW ver2.6 on file although I did start using KW sometime before that (likely due to the incompatibility between versions when upgrading)

While we here at LL may feel a bit put off by the lack of newer releases, as long as OnikiKay has posted a build for public download regardless of how obscure and hard to find that site may be, she has done what is legally required. This post is more an advertisement at this time from her viewpoint, while I feel it's still one of the most active forums trying to support her public versions. Heck - she didn't have to even post it, as allowing versions to remain instead of having them taken down also satisfies the legal need. Actual help from her behind a paywall isn't against the law.....

 

Do a Search for Kinky World and you'll see there ARE other newer versions out there, but it's best to 'officially' help with the versions available here at LL from a forum standpoint.

Actually she isn't living up to her agreement legally. Under the rules of LL which she had to agree to for her mod to be posted here was that updates and new versions would be posted within 3 weeks of release to the public and under EA's TOS she was to post releases and updates within 1 week to the public.

Not once has she ever lived up to any of it the only reason her mod and this thread is even still here is that the Sims 3 section is rarely visited by the Moderators and no one has reported the thread. She hasn't even been to LL in over a year and has always thumbed her nose at LL and the people here.

 

And before I forget I once looked inside the mod she has also stolen content from other modders and has even stolen some assests from EA's Store items namely the meshes from Infinite Zen Massage Table and that falls under piracy.

Hilariously, she continues to credit LL in her new releases... which have become so cluttered with "a patron paid her to add it" garbage and an interactions menu that might as well not exist as it doesn't work, so tuning is impossible.

FYI, hacked store items are easy to get... even if by accident. I downloaded a world from a Russian site (they have EVERYTHING!!!), and got so much extra (working) CC in the mods packages. Honestly, most of it, I never wanted, but it's too much of a PITA to pull the packages apart to remove it.

 

Oh... I wanted to ask you... I think there was a discussion about your anims being based on a male penis mod other than Cmar's??? Can you tell me which mod that was?

Oh man that was a long time ago and I don't have the files anymore but I believe it was based off of CrammyBoy.  Yeah it had to be Crammyboy I didn't like the DCAB penis. I believe you can find a better version of my penis mod in the Passion download. I think TwilightStorm put it in with his mods download.

Yeah I know there are actually 4 or 5 sites that have everything from the Sims 3 Store and a few sites that have most of it but not everything.

She could without anyone's knowledge post an update somewhere the public has access to, but no one knows about. She doesn't have to advertise this. Hmmm, curious about this. I had to get a 'hacked' version years ago and only recently got the 'original' with all the store restricted objects that only show during animations. If this 'object was included' by KW, why didn't I see it, or have access to it? Animations for the object I saw, but not the actual table.....

LL wouldn't bother with taking her to court (besides what judge would even bother to listen to a case from a sex mod site) but quite simply when you post your mod here with the knowledge that you have to post the new versions and updates within a specific time and you fail to do so you have technically broken an informal contract as you have to agree to the terms before you can post your mod here.

Only the meshes are used to see the actual Store object you would need the .dll for the Infinite Zen Massage Table which would require the Store Item. Not sure how she's using the meshes all I know is that she has them incorporated into her mod. She would've been better off just using the meshes as a reference for what object she using them for but require the Store Item for it to work and show up. That's how Icarus_Allsorts did it when his mod needed a Store Item for something to work he used it as a reference but required the item to work.

But then again you can take the mesh for the Salt Shaker that is in the game and use it to make something like a joint or condom.

If so, then having object meshes may also be required for said animations to work within the mods framework.

 

It would seem much of EA's code is needed to accomplish 'any' kind of mod making, while certain rules are implied to protect whom owns those rights. The whole Idea of Patreon is just another example of legal abuse for profit which has been part of the capitalist financial system forever.

( I use Venus Princess's Straitjacket / the mesh for the arms still exist with no texture as evidenced by accessories 'floating in air' if used, as opposed to the amputation mods which 'shrink' the mesh )

EA doesn't own the script code Microsoft does. But EA does own the meshes and textures in their games.

Since the meshes reference the textures in the game since whatever object is being made with the meshes would use the games textures, yes. But the meshes are indeed taken from the Store Item. I never said anything about textures being taken from the Store.

 

But I'm out of this conversion you seem to thinking I'm bitching or whatever else you're imagining. I'm simply pointing out something I found that concerns me especially if EA ever caught wind of it and I hope they never do or if they do just ignore it. EA has gone after people before for using their meshes and shut them down not with the Sims 3 but Dragon Age they have.

With EA 'officially' endorsing mod use with the Sims series, while not doing the same for Dragon Age, could be the very reason for whom they go after. Geez, imagine the amount of legal fees EA would have to spend, tracking and documenting Sims mods to create a court case. As long as profit isn't involved, mod creation only helps interest in titles from a developer/publisher POV. (although the moral content of some mods may bypass 'looking the other way')

Actually EA has an Official built-in Mod Manager for Dragon Age. More like their just willy-nilly about who they go after. It just depends if they have a bug up their ass when they find out what you're doing. I think he was making a rape mod or something like that.

 

They tried it with me once with Mass Effect but I'm too smart for them I made everything from scratch. They backed away but not without letting me know they would be keeping a close eye on me.

EA didn't like the mod I made but using the original BIOWARE forums probably wasn't a good idea to host the mod even though they hosted mods even adult oriented ones on a sub-forum site. I basically made a nude mod they didn't mind that it was when I made another version by request and made Sheppard a Tranny. I gave female Sheppard a dick and gave male Sheppard a pussy  (EA fucking hated me for that  ).

Do they use the mesh at all? 99% of what I make, I simply use af dress tank ruffles in TSRW, since it's basegame, and a 2 group mesh, but the actual mesh I use has nothing to do with that dress. I mean, this Vampirella outfit that I'm working on is af dress tank ruffles...

I know basically nothing about script, but as we had discussed with @Clydie and @Lucas on another thread, it seems to be a matter of writing whatever specific object into the script for it to work. It can't be too generic, or Sims would be shoving anything that is based on salt shaker into their hoo hoos!

More or less, yes. And a texture will only show on one side of the mesh. That is the basis of my first lessons from Josh Q. Open bottom requires 2 meshes. One you see from outside, and a second that you see from the inside. You must "flip" the "normals" on the inside. This is also how hair works.

I converted a few EA shoes to height altering for myself, as defaults this way. I basically stretched the EA mesh, but left the UV map as is, so my shoes use the game's textures. CTU is almost opposite. It will generally use whatever mesh you choose from the list and apply your new texture to it.
