I've spent more time than expected to do some research on ObjectComponent for a future "big feature" and to work on the public release. I know it's been a long time, but Oniki is really working on the public version.

There are wealthy sims in my world (Paradise Islands) a restaurant and a disco. Even when I use kinky debug option 'trigger escort situation' nothing happens. What's wrong? Once callgirl is enabled you then need to use phone one more time and enable escort.

janyses Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I can't get KW to initialize upon start up. I'm not a novice at downloading mods so you can imagine my confusion/frustration. I redownloaded KW and all respective files, deleted my cache files, took out Passion and GraphicalXTC mods because I read that they conflicted with each other, started a new game and still no KW! My mods are installed in the correct folders and even separated into sub-folders for easy navigation. I do get script errors that I've added to the post below. Can someone make sense of this? Is one of my Nraas mods blocking KW from starting up because I thought it was said they didn't conflict? Any and all help would be appreciated. P.S the new site said to post here instead because the upgrade had failed or something. If you're receiving the same error in old games and new, then it's likely a mod conflict. Try starting a new game with ALL mods removed except for KW and its required files. Don't forget to delete the caches. Many of Nraas' mods will work, but some will create conflicts. If you use ErrorTrap, it will freeze your game with KW installed. To find out if they do, look in the skill journal for woohoo. Their professional title should say "high class escort." If it does, enroll as a call girl using the cell phone or a computer. Then you can trigger a call using the debug option, but be aware that escort calls only happen after 5pm. The mod automatically creates NPC clients, so the number of wealthy sims in your world does not matter. If the title is not "high class escort," you can force it using the debug option on the sim: Kinky>debug>skills & traits. If you haven't already, click the disco rabbithole icon and use the Kinky menu to register it as a dance club. Do the same with the resorts to register them as hotels. They need at least one hotel to check in to. If it still won't work, enable debug under "notifications" in the settings menu. Try to trigger an escort situation again using Kinky debug and the popups should tell you what's wrong. I set autonomy to low/disabled... the townies are not woohoo on their own, like married couples and romantic couples. they just flashed each other that's it. I have the rape thing going on, but no woohoo between the townies. Don't use disabled if you want townies to woohoo autonomously. Set it to "low" instead. Keep in mind that townies still go on with their lives and will not woohoo constantly even with autonomy on. It will help if they are aroused or horny. You can use Master Controller to give them horny moodlets or make them horny using KW debug options. I finally got the callgirl option to work. Now, I have a question, my girl got a call for the call girl work, when he arrived he asked my girl if she wanted to woohoo with Tom Peeper (who is always outside my window) and that she would get paid extra 279 simoleons. she accepts, Tom comes in and stand next to my girl, then he disappeared and my sims resetted. I was wondering if how do i fix this glitch? any advice would be helpful. Thanks. Is the high school only for paid version? This may be fixed in the paid version, but I will notify Oniki just in case. Tom has a specific role and is not able to participate in everything that our sims can. This is probably why he disappeared and your sims reset. There should either be a check to disqualify him as a participant, or a fix that allows him to join. For now, don't accept if it happens again.

I've has so many issues with this mod, that I had to uninstall it and revert back to version 02.5a. At least that version is mostly playable and relatively bug free.

We need more information in order to help you. What do you mean you have no way of testing it? Your game won't start? Tell us specifically what "didn't work." Error message, crash, etc.? As for the menu, once the mod is working in the game, you will see an interaction called "Kinky" when you click on a sim. Are you ever going to fix the broken toy you gave us last Christmas????? And the animation stuff that I was supposed to download are RAR files and I don't know what I screwed up but it's obviously something because it. Just. Won't. Work. And I'm so frustrated because I've been trying to fix it for like a month now and I don't know how to fix it. I'm not sure how to be more specific. Nothing works, there is supposed to be a 'Kinky' option when you click on a Sim, which is how I'm supposed to know if it's working but it's not there...I think the only thing I haven't tried is getting rid of every mod I have, but I don't have any mods that interfere with KinkyWorld. A quick google on what 7z and rar files are should do the trick... But anyway, first, install Winrar if you haven't already (google it only took you 5 seconds). After Winrar is installed, right click on the 7z or rar file and choose "Extract files", and hit enter when another window pops up. After it's done running there should be another folder created with the same name as the 7z or rar file. Copy that into your mods/packages folder and it should run fine. P/S: I'm just really curious here, but if you don't know how to extract a 7z or rar file, how have you been installing mods up until now? Modders pack their mods into 7z and rar files most of the time...

Also having a dildo in your sim's inventory helps to have more interactions available (yes, even if your sim is a male). But animators do much less solo woohoo stuff so don't be surprised if you have 5 animation packs but almost no solo interactions.
