Yes and no. AW is compatible with KW, Passion is not. Passion enables the other objects for woohoo (cars, pool ladders, pool tables, etc.) It basically enables the KW animations. Aside from that, not sure because I don't use it. If it has hookers and drugs I might consider it.

Since they are compatible, what would AW bring that KW does not have?

Mod Passion is a further evolution of ideas Animated Woohoo (From Kicker-A). Recreate the outset by Alfachan.

- I'm getting a lot more pathing errors with this build. Sims complain that a path to things right in front of them are blocked. Started a new game. Re-set everything too.  Game is still playable though.

 

Actually, that was the issue I noticed after installing the new build, and when I tried the reset option with MC, it kept crashing the game!

 

So, I just tried a different game save from public version, removed new build, put PV back in and tried MC reset, it did not crash.

 

For future reference, you should always use Reset Everything before installing the upgrade. It doesn't help you much after the fact. So:

 

1. Disable the mod (PV) in your current save and pause the game. 2. Use "Reset Everything" in City Hall>NRaas>MasterController>Town. 3. Wait for it to finish, save, then exit the game.  4. Delete the cache files. 5. Install the upgrade.

 

I sometimes take it a step further and use MC to remove Kinky moodlets and objects from inventory before the reset. As a last resort, you can also remove Kinky traits (including the reward traits) to further reduce complications. Alternatively, the "Uninstall" function is also capable of removing traits (if it completes properly without errors.)

 

I'm using the Patreon release and I use Reset Everything often without any problems. I'm guessing there is something going on in your save that MC doesn't like, so hopefully these instructions will help you.

Nah, it doesn't have the extras that Kinky offers. It's basically for people who only want to use the animations (and maybe STDs.) Alfiechan once commented that Kinky World was going in a different direction and that's one of the reasons he/she created Passion. (*This is not a direct quote.) So I doubt it would ever come close to Kinky with regard to features.

I tried different options with MC and it seems that

MC>Household>Reset Lot

is the option that crashes. The

MC>Town>Reset Everything

does not crash my game. So not sure what is going on.

 

I was able to repair my game with the town reset everything, so far so good.

In Passion you can build sequences ,that means you are not bounded to the fixed Animations like BJ A,B,C etc. You can set the Animations like you want BJ,Wohoo back to lick and so forth.And it has STD´s thants not implented in kw 2.5

So I was going to post up some bug reports and thoughts on what was liked and not, but it seems the public version is half a year old now, and the non-buggy and playable version is behind a paywall? 

 

Non-buggy is a overstatement! The patreon builds also have bugs and this builds are tested so that the next public release will be playable. Patience is the key. 

 

 

There is less bugs in the patreon version which is also playable. Don't really see this argument as valid.

 

do you know how much should i pledge to get the less bugged version, i think i'm tired of waiting for a public realease

 

$5 is the minimum you can pledge and still get the newest mod. It was just  updated, and now also takes the money out right away, so you don't have to wait for it.

There are still bugs being worked out, and things being added before the next release. So far, I love the newest build, and can't wait for the next one.

This is the last public release, right now Oniki is working out bugs and implementing things that will be amazing when the bugs are worked out.

You can't. Since OnikiKay's settings and flags are unique and proprietary to this mod, Tagger has no way of seeing them, unless that mod is rewritten to peek at KinkyWorld's values.

Considering this mod's nature I'm sceptical that the people at NRaas Industries would be particularly inclined to do so, and as it is still a work in progress where settings and flags can still be renamed and moved around from one version to the next (at least in some of the public versions there has been such major rewrites), it may also be too soon for them to consider adding that integration – a new version could break any functionality that they add.

The Pateron one is a newer version with more features, like schools & sexbot chip plus Animation packs automatically registering.

 

These features should make it into the next public build when it is released.

 

The private one is essentially the closed beta test area for the public releases.

 

I`m sure one of the Pateron subscribers will give you a more detailed list of differences.

Ive installed the mod but it wont work.  I dont get the "kinky" option in game, and it does not show up in the mod window when i start the game. Anyone else with the same problem?

Rain has posted several previews of the new features that are being tested and some of the bugs/problems in the public version that have been addressed and fixed.

I've been running several NRaas mods, including Story Progression without any problems.

However, if you are running NRaas Register, you won't be able to use the "Whore" feature in the public version. It has been fixed in the Patreon version though.

I'm a patron but I think it's not fair for others since the last public version is like 6 months and the patron version is more stable.

It's obvious the mod is paywall only and free user will only have this version.

See how many of us use as argument "just pay anyway, because we don't know". There are enough testers as patrons, a new public release would be totally pointless for the sake of the mod stability. The free version is stuck with 0.2.6. since half a year, don't expect to have another more stable version, it will not happen.

1. If you have Passion installed -- KW will not work. The menu doesn't show up (as far as I'm aware). They're incompatible.

 

2. Check to make sure you have unzipped and placed the files in the correct location. Delete your Cache files the in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 folder.

 

Load the game once you have done this, wait a minute and the dialogue box will pop up. Click on any Sim > Kinky > Settings pretty straightforward from there.
