my mod (v0.2.6.7) has been working well for the last 2 months up until last week. i turned my game on and suddenly the kinkyworld mod wasn't working. when i click on a space and then nraas, the 'kinky' menu usually shows up but it doesn't anymore. i didn't install any new mods that may interfere or do anything different so i'm pretty confuused. i deleted all of the package files and tried to re-install it but no new results. ugh. (( anyone have any solutions?

I think the kinky menu is different from the nraas menu. They always show up as two separate menus for me. Do you see the kinky menu if you click on a sim?

 

Also, you might try removing the scriptCache.package file from your "...\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3" directory. If you quit the game, removed the kinky packages, replaced them, and then restarted your game, that cache file may retain the status of the mod settings.

well sounds pretty serious. too bad her animations are now pay only for kw.... oh well best animations from her for sure for kw and no other animator can even come close to what she mad. now 1 idot ruined it all .....its  a shame people like that exist. does anyone know if there ever will be kw animations from her again not patreon stuff?

Oh well, seems like I'm having a different issue with whoring again. I finally got my Sim to earn some money when I played yesterday, and after loading the game today the option "start whoring" is gone. Not even greyed out, just entirely and completely gone. I tried disabling/enabling OKW, and I checked their blog, but I still don't know why this is. This mod definitely needs some kind of documentation beyond "that's how you do things", because more often than not I find myself utterly confused by my Sims refusing to do stuff when they meet all the requirements, etc. I'm sure there's a reason the option is gone now, but ... why?

 

Edit: Ah, okay, I think I found the reason, and I'm not too happy about it. Turns out I sent home my Sim and saved my game while my Sim was "on duty" and in her career outfit. Seems she now has a permanent "working" flag that I can't cancel or remove, not even using debug cheats or OKW's debug commands. I can't remove her flag, so she's basically stuck in "whoring mode" while she doesn't follow the scripted interactions. She's just... stuck with the flag. *sigh*

 

 

before you start the game go to your mods folder (usually My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3) and delete Scriptscache.package. 

Start the game and see it is fixed

Does it show up when you click a sim or object or just when you click a space? When you re-install did you clear you cache files on restart?

 

 

it did not show up when i clicked on a space or any objects but when i clicked on a sim the kinky menu appeared.

Ridiculous stuff. Not only is she making nearly 1k per month by creating animations for 2 mods of an outdated game, she's also turning her back to the community that made it possible in the first place. Even more ridiculous if you think about all the modders that contributed much, much more without thinking about monetary gain, you know, just doing stuff because they enjoy doing it.

I think people need to understand that when Onikikay releases a version to the public, it is FREE! Therefore, being free, she can release it when she deems fit and when she feels it's ready for the public. We can always choose to pay for it and help her to defray the costs of development and running the site thereby getting it sooner. But if one chooses not to pay for it, then perhaps one should be happy with the releases that are free and grateful when updates are released. I for one thank Onikikay for all her efforts.

I have two sisters who live together and are call girls. Every now and then after a client calls on the phone, the customer will show up at the sisters home instead of the sister going to the clients home. Is there a way to make that a default setting so the call girls don't have to travel and their clients come to them? It makes life easier for them not having to get a baby sitter every time they leave the house.

The same thing happens when I create nudist. I've deleted the panty package and tried raising their exibition  level still a no go. Any ideas.

If you are talking about your created Sims, then you can easily fix this issue.

By default, the mod makes female Sims wear those undies. But when you create your female Sims, make sure you go to accessories and scroll all the way down and remove those items.

Who was complaining? Certainly not the guy you're quoting. Even if he was, though, the mod being free doesn't mean that nobody should ever say anything negative about it. I'm sure we're all grateful for the mod, but that's not the issue. I see the beginnings of this sort of "don't ever say anything even remotely negative" mentality in a lot of hobby dev communities, and I don't want it to spread.

 

Besides, I doubt the dev is going to burst into tears because somebody got excited and asked for some release date information.

You will need to remove them for the Outfits Everyday, Athletic, Outgoing, Formal and Carrer. Basicaly all of them exept Sleepwear and Swimwear.

Doe anyone knows how the freaking rejections system works? My male sim refuses to play an animtion on a pool table but he is fine on doing it on the couch right next to it !!

I am not sure if I am correct on this but going to try anyway, one of the enhancements of KinkyMod is that the animation packs now preload for you.  You no longer have to enter them, so I believe it reads what animations you have in your mods folder.  I have the public version of Lady666 anims and the mod works fine with it.   If I am incorrect about how it will function, well then I apologize for giving any false hope there but hopefully I am right.  If it does turn out to be an issue I am sure Onikikay will find a way to work around it.

Not to wade too deep into this potentially extremely volatile topic, but it does have some effect*, not on the mod's functionality, but general user experience. While the various animation packs have always been presented as separate addons, Lady's animations make up something like 1/3 of all animations available for the mod, the old versions of which are removed as of now, making Kinkyworld seem a bit gimped.

 

I've been using both while I've waited for KinkyWorld to take shape, but missing out on a substantial amount of content in the future probably means I'll just update AW, or Passion(?) instead, because even if the numerous extra features and making sex an actual part of gameplay is a big draw, the meat of the experience is still the animations.

 

Now, to be clear, no creator owes me or anyone else anything, and I'm grateful for the free entertainment provided thus far.

 

*I'm speaking hypothetically, as the situation is still somewhat unclear at the moment.

Are there any object/sim combo animations that were only available from her animation pack? If so, those acts would be disabled now, correct?

 

 

Also, how do I get sims to accept my bloody solicitation attempts? I'm poor, I have L3 woohoo, and I've tried both at night and during the day (though finding people at night is a pain). I've even tried flashing them first to get them in the mood. Over 50+ attempts, I managed to make a grand total of 50 bucks off a beach handjob, and that's it.

Improving charisma and athletics didn't really seem to help either.

I almost always go for opposite sex pairings with a female sim.

 

In addition, the names, actions, and descriptions are supposed to be 90% placeholder text, right?

 

Furthermore, what's the cooldown on solicitation attempts?

 

On another note, is whore mode supposed to shut itself off every once in a while? If not, it's probably related to the seemingly common bug that others are having. Could explain my bad luck with customers too, now that I think about it.

Are there any object/sim combo animations that were only available from her animation pack? If so, those acts would be disabled now, correct?

 

 

Also, how do I get sims to accept my bloody solicitation attempts? I'm poor, I have L3 woohoo, and I've tried both at night and during the day (though finding people at night is a pain). I've even tried flashing them first to get them in the mood. Over 50+ attempts, I managed to make a grand total of 50 bucks off a beach handjob, and that's it.

Improving charisma and athletics didn't really seem to help either.

I almost always go for opposite sex pairings with a female sim.

 

In addition, the names, actions, and descriptions are supposed to be 90% placeholder text, right?

 

Furthermore, what's the cooldown on solicitation attempts?

 

On another note, is whore mode supposed to shut itself off every once in a while? If not, it's probably related to the seemingly common bug that others are having. Could explain my bad luck with customers too, now that I think about it.

 

 

Public as in the ones that are on Lady's LoversLab thread currently.  I do not use AW or AW+ (whatever it's now called) only KW so I am using the KW mod just fine with the public animations of Lady666.  I've not had any issues with it.
