I'm using nraas register and want to keep it. It did not interfere with kinky 0.2.5a. Any chance to make KinkyWorld compatible with register again ?

 

Can some please upload v0.2.5a so I can play with the old version which was working better for my taste ?

Did the test but was a failure. Took the mod off and when I booted the game up again, I saw that my sim and another female member of the household were completely gone. No mention of either anywhere in the world. I don't know about the other female member, but I guess my sim got intertwined with the mod. When I put the mod back in, there she was (including the other girl) and everything was normal. Still can't send her to the Future. Totally weird.

 

I don't know if anyone's answered this already, since I don't have time right now to read all of the replies. Sims disappearing is a problem that happens with any mod that adds custom traits to the game. If you uninstall the mod, all sims with those traits "disappear." They are still actually in your game, however, but they are removed from their homes and become Out-of-Town sims.

 

To prevent this from happening, remove the custom traits using MasterController (or edit in CAS/TestingCheats, etc.) You must also remove the custom reward traits if the sim has any. There is now an uninstall feature in Kinky to help prevent the loss of sims, but the results are hit or miss.

Onikikay has a fix in place in the newest Patreon version build 291 to fix whoring w/Register.

None, unfortunately. The reports have me baffled, as I don't experience the problem with stuck sims. It's odd that some experience the problem while others don't.

 

I do have other problems with the latest version, mainly with the Kinky Repair Man who seems to be completely broken, but none with the beds or the animations (apart from one minor thing – twice now two sims have attempted to sleep in the same single bed, with the result that they have shifted back and forth from side to side a couple of times before one of them have eventually given up and gone looking for a different bed. I'm not sure it has anything to do with Kinky World though, although I have never experinced that problem before).

 

Repairman issue has been fixed in the latest Patreon release. 

 

Not sure about the sleeping thing, could be a game glitch.  I've not seen any reports of this issue.

Overwatch is already set to the right values for clean outfits & autoreset.

The clothes issue is quite strange : sometimes, the sim gets fully clothed when she shouldn't, sometimes partially clothed, then goes back to normal with the beginning of the next animation in the cycle. I would suspect the dresser, but it still happens when I take it out.

 

As for the "invite home", I don't use it either - the inactive sims do, however, try it a lot when horny. But maybe I did not understand what it's meant to do ? - thinking about it, if it just "pushes" the inactive sim to follow the other sim around from lot to lot when accepted, it would explain some strange happenings in my game, like the whole classroom following my sim and each other to the geek shop and improvizing a masturbation orgy in front of the barista... I'll have to test it.

 

You'd better ask me what Nraas mods I don't use and the answer would be DreamCatcher and a few other obscure one And Error Trap, though I miss it, of course.

 

 

You are certainly having NRAAS conflicts.  I'm a big fan of NRAAS but they really aren't necessary with Kinky World and they do tend to conflict and even slow down the game a bit.  Try just going to Master Controller and Careers.  It should start behaving.

 

Thank you for this ejswanny, I keep saying "less is more" get rid and purge the mods as they are not necessary the stronger KW gets. 

Hi all! I've been playing with version 2.5 for a while and loved it, but I can't seem to update to v2.6. I have copy/pasted all the files into the Packages folder, cleared my cache, installed the newest animations etc. but the Kinky menu doesn't show up at all for me when I click on my Sim. If I revert to all the v2.5 files, it works perfectly. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

You should be able to click on your sim with 2.6.  Do you maybe have both versions of the mod in the same folder by accident?  I have been guilty of this and they do not play well together at all.  I have not seen any reports of this issue on Patreon and I myself have 2.6 build 291 (Patreon version) and I can click on sim, activate and post all of the lovely tutorials on this thread. 

 

Is there anyway to stop sims from urinating everywhere, I used the debug menu to max out all KW stats except for beastiality and now my sims don't use toilets afterwards.

Are there any options to turn off public urination and constant stripping if you've maxed out the exobishionist skill?

 

Also the spawn rapist debug option doesn't seem to work in Sunset Valley, the sim would spawn and then just stand there on the spot until they probably die of exposure. This issue I think started with the 2.5 version and has reoccured in 2.6.

 

If you maxed out all of the KW stats, that's your issue right there.  The urination everywhere and stripping is all part of the Exhibitionist behavior.  I'd drop that down to zero, I truly don't like seeing that in my game either so I lower it as far and as often as possible just to keep that behavior minimal.  It really works too.  The Spawn Rapist is not meant to be used by users/gamers.  A lot of things go into account for the Rapist service to work.  I would recommend cease using that, turn your debug messages on and watch for rapist messages to find out why you are not getting rapists in your town.

I worked out my pubic hair thing posted above - I just had to add the right skins.

 

Would love to see a "streaker" or "nudist" option in exhibition to remove all clothing and underwear, instead of having to remove each item as a separate option. I know there are mods out there, but it's better if it's part of the base mod and not a potentially conflicting third party extra. "Strip to underwear" would also be handy, though you can effectively do that by wearing (and removing) one-piece outfits.

Make sure it's not a mod conflict. I remember the Shooless mod being responsible for this kind of behavior.

 

I'm getting some weird behavior with 2.6

 

1) Save games fucked: Game freezes after loading.

This has happened with all three sims / families that I've started since Christmas.

 

KW 2.5a used to have these massive loading screen pauses which were long enough to go take a shit and leasurely stroll back.

KW 2.6 has much shorter load times. I can load up a game that I saved while paused, but as soon as I unpause, the game freezes with insane hard drive activity which lasts around 2 minutes. Nothing more happens after that so I eventually reboot, and delete the save game.

 

So erm ... is KinkyWorld the culprit, or should I not have bought myself Seasons and Generations?

(Or is it "normal" for KW savegames to take more than five minutes to load after the loading screens are gone and your sims show up on screen?)

 

2) I'm now seeing frequent crashes which I never had with KW 2.5a (and without Seasons & Generations), e.g. while travelling to China in Winter. Again, not sure whether to blame KW or Seasons. I'll uninstall addons later tonight to test this out.

 

3) In my Kinky Settings, there are never any restaurants / bars / hotels / schools registered. The Restaurant Rabbithole and School Rabbithole do not seem to provide an option to Kinky->register, no matter where I click..

I believe you have this issue sorted now, but I noticed that you use Nraas mods. If you also use ErrorTrap, remove it because it causes a freeze of this nature. Also, Oniki has stated that ET is not compatible with the school feature that is in development.

No.  It is a known bug that is actually listed in the Reference Guide as "known bugs".  The zzz's will eventually go away, just give it some time.

Okay, I know that is known, but I hadn't know if reloading is only way to get rid of that. I'm glad that is not.

I have not seen the Zzz bug in 2.6, i believe that is fixed. To remove the Zzz, I think you can just send the sim to sleep again, then wake them up after a few minutes - the Zzzs only happened if they woke up while dreaming IIRC.

 

 

Error Trap wasn't installed, but I had installed KW and two new expansions from the Xmas sale at the same time, which was too much at the same time I guess.

 

Fixed Problems:

Sim standing upright in bed while sleeping - too many expansions installed, or possibly an issue with the "Dreaming" thing requiring something. Only happened once after I removed WA and Generations.
Crashes when travelling - too many expansions, also EA's travel system is notorious for weird crashes. Has not happened again after I removed three of seven expansions.

Dicks always limp - I was missing the circumcised erection slider :-( After I deleted all the penis files, then made sure to follow OregonRain's instructions to the letter, it works fine.

Sims becomes unresponsive while saving after you play for like 8 hours straight - EA problem.

Script error about a Null call to whore customers when starting whoring - probably because I had turned off the Kinky flasher Service; or because I had an outdated file from KW2.5a still in my packages folder.

 

New tiny issue: NPCs that won't stop woohooing?

In a new town, I'll often go watch Kinky TV and invite everyone. These NPCs will then often start autonomously doing Kinky things. In 2.5a, that always went like three steps, teasing -> oral -> vaginal.

In 2.6, autonomous NPC woohoo sometimes won't stop, looping back to teasing after the vaginal woohoo. I've had one NPC couple going at it for most of a day. I used MasterController -> Advanced -> Reset on the girl to end the woohoo. When I later met the guy, he had weird animations until I also reset him.

Strange issue with Dildo interaction Solo Autonomous , if you have a Hottub  , before using this interaction my sim entering in hottub and stay in hottub.

Also a little conflit between Registers Mod of Twallan and prostitute career , Registers mod don't want this career and after ErrorTrap Reset the sim  lol , i delete Registers mod and it work Great  XD

 

Another issue with Penis Mesh and slider of CmarNYC and kinky world ^^ ..i put some parameter for the penis of my sim and the game keep this parameter but not Kinky world, at every new kinky woohoo the penis is reseted and my sim have a small penis and a bad looking lol and not good for the animations

A chaque nouvelle interaction sexuelle du kinky le pénis de mon sim reviens au paramètre de base (petite bite ...  XD ) , non seulement c'est chiant mais en plus , il se retrouve avec un pénis petit et pas beau dans la forme et en plus cela ne correspond plus avec les animations , les simettes sucent dans le vide , les pénétrations aussi etc...etc...

 

Alors qu'avec l'animated woohoo de kicker , le pénis paramétré et les animations sont parfaites !

She appears to be stuck in whore mode, but anytime I try to get her to solicit and have sex, when she goes to have sex she teleports a short distance and the action is cancelled.

I seem to have the same issues with "whoring" just seemingly stopping to work with the new version.

I don't know if it is saving/loading while "on the job" that breaks it, but will have to test it some.

What exactly does a complete uninstall entail? I removed all the files and started a new game and lots of objects didn't have the "kinky" interaction. So i cleared all my caches,updated all animations and started yet another game but now i'm getting "not found" when i try to add animations that i KNOW are in the right spot! What have i done wrong?

Autonomy
KW has three autonomy levels.
Low: This is the EA standard autonomy setting. All sims are able to perform autonomous interactions. Selectable sims can't refuse to perform user directed interactions (but the target still can).
High (default): Selectable sims can refuse to perform user directed interactions! For example, when you ask your sim to do a striptease on a public dance floor he/she may refuse to exhibit him/herself in front of other sims. If autonomy is set to Low, he/she will do it regardless of his/her exhibition skill level.
Disabled: Sims do not perform autonomous kinky interactions.

Not your sim's fault, the Kinky Repairman functionality seems to be broken. I've peeked at the code, and when the repairman arrives it always selects one of your sims on the lot, supposedly the one who should be the most inclined to have sex (but seems to make a poor job of it), and then forces the sim to run forth and strip down regardless of whether he/she would actually be ready for it.

I hope (and think) that's not the intended functionality. I don't mind the repairman asking around for some action, but my sims should still have the final decision in whether they actually do it. At the moment I never call the repairman any longer; my sims have to repair all the problems themselves.
