Sharp_one you mentioned a CTD at 3.2 GB; janyses the 32bit barrier.

Would it help to make TS3 large address aware?

 

As Janyses pointed out, the cap used to be 2Gb, until they made it LAA. So prior to that we had to edit the exe to make it LAA. However, 3.2Gb is the limit for 32bit applications, and you cannot edit them to use more beyond that unfortunately. This is also how much a typical 32Bit OS can handle, which is why modern PCs are 64bit now. EA would have had to make the exe 64bit for us to make use of more memory than 3.2Gb, which they have only done for Sims 4 on the Mac at this point.

The conversation about Error Trap reminded me of something I saw when I uninstalled KW (waiting for the next version ! ). Alas, I already stupidly have dumped the error logs. I don't know if it will be useful, but who knows.

I was used to play with KW, and from time to time, reinstall ErrorTrap for a few sim hours, just to correct a few things, before uninstalling it again and getting back to play. I tell you this so you know that I had not seen what follows in the logs before.

So - I uninstalled KW, installed ErrorTrap, and launched the game. Expected effects : out-of-towned sims, etc. After two sim hours, Error Trap wrote two big error log (around 800 and 500 entries respectively).

When I read the files, there was a lot of entries concerning interaction jigs found hanging, and destroyed by Error Trap - dosens and dozens of them.

I had not seen this kind of correction in previous error trap logs (other entries were traditional error trap entries about dummy objects and so on).

The game was created with KW 2.5 installed, and I played for a long time in it.

I don't know if the deleted jigs where the jigs for the various woohoo interactions who were one way or another cancelled mid-way (like it seems to happen with many solo woohoo), and so for which the KW cleaning code may have failed to be called, or if it is a problem with KW's way to handle jig creation/destruction in general.

( I find interesting that error trap was not able to correct the jigs while KW was active - either I did not let it for long enough, or it is prevented from doing it by the code)

Sorry I can't give more useful information. I should not clean files when I am too tired to think fast :D

 

As the information may be useful : after unsintalling, my sims' behavior slowly went back to normal (no running around to revealing clothing sims, baby sleeps normally, etc). Emphasis on the slowly. They kept acting as when the mod was installed for a few sim hours. I was too unattentive to be sure that normality came back once error trap corrected the jig problems above, but it may be.

 

 

I often delete those interaction jigs myself, as even without KW you will see them here and there, especially after a reset world. It is possible though that KW is causing an excess of these. However, it was my belief that KW uses low-detail simulation of Sims outside the active lot, which shouldn't be creating these in the first place. Unless my understanding of how this works is in correct.

 

 

You may be right. All I know is ET has to do a LOT more cleaning than usual when Kinky is removed.

 

 

 

I expected the removal of KW to leave a lot of work for ErrorTrap (and lot of hand correction for me), there are so many traits, skills, flags, outfits and objects to remove. What I did not expect was a very long list of jigs, especially as there was not much happening in the neighborhood when I uninstalled. Reason why I am still beating myself for not saving the logs. It may be nothing - or it may be a symptom.

 

Also - I am not sure it helps in anyway, but : before uninstalling the mod, I had created a test world. I wanted to install the new video package in a new world first. While I was at it, I decided to try a little gang bang. In the main save, I never was able to have it work, when a sim joins the action on the player's command, all participants freeze, and finally the lady resumes the animation alone while the boys go read a book. To my surprise, it worked perfectly in a new save. A little later, in my main save, the sim day before unsintall, I had the surprise to see an autonomous consensual gang bang, with a joining sim, happen during a party on an inactive sim's lot, with no freeze (though it was interrupted before the end). (note : i was spying the house thanks to master controller).

I should probably test KW in a new save for a few days, a gang bang a day, and see if /when things go wrong. But as so many bugs have been corrected in the private version, these problems may already be history.

 

I miss KW, but my sim seems content to live a normal mother life and just have normal woohoo for some times. Especially now that woohooer seems to have taken control back (they do it autonomously three time a day, as if she remembered she was meant to have the woohooer trait! ). After all, she only planned to move to the aegyptian palace and build a harem of horny sims later in her life, when her mortal husband would be dead :D The next version should not be out before the child has grown, so I will be able to test it without having my family life plans as an obstacle !

Might be a moot point since it appears there's an update in the horizon, but of late my callgirl/callguys on a job are switching from their career outfit to everyday outfit for no reason and when I go to CAS their career outfit is unchanged. They still get naked for the woohoo that they're paid to do but they kept their career outfits on going to, during and from the job. Don't know what it could be? Also  on a side note is it possible for a long distance callgirl job? I mean, can you have someone from Paris pay for you to come give them the business??

It is for registering lots to use with the escort situation, in cases where the mod might not automatically recognize them.

 

For example, escorts can take the customer out to eat, dancing, for drinks, etc. and then finally they stop at a hotel. If your world already has diners, bistros, dance clubs, and so on, the mod will use those lots for this situation. No registering required. But if you have custom lots or want to use different lot types, such as "Visitors Allowed," you need to register them so the mod will know to use them.

 

It is still in development, so some things might be a little wonky. I do know that a lot must have at least one double bed in order to register it as a hotel.

Well, I discovered the link between the sims that are sent out of town after removing Kinky. They all have at least one of the custom Lifetime Rewards: Masochist, Exhibitionist, Slut... I'm going to see if removing them prevents the ErrorTrap conflict. *Sigh* Nope. At least I know now how to prevent the removal of my sims. Back to the drawing board...

Huh... so apparently when my sims are supposed to still have panties on, they APPEAR to be bottomless. Anyone have any steps to register panties?

 

I'm fairly sure it's something to do with a special console command that reveals certain clothing items' codes or something, and I input that code, right? But I don't know the code to enable it in the first place.

Good question, I can't recall what version this appeared in.  Been quite busy with RL and other things, this is located under Kinky settings so if you don't have it, I would have to guess it was after public release.  If that's the case, sorry about that but make sure to mark the page down so you can come back to it or take a pic of my little picture and save it for later.  My bad.

It doesn't appear on all lots, likely because the mod already recognizes them. But yes, it's only available in the Patreon build atm. Escorts appeared around the same time as the public release, so I couldn't remember if any of the features were in the public release or not.

I realized that my loading screens lately are very slow and I do not have all expansion patches. I always clean my cache, error logs (lately there has not been through the kinky), some backups and lately, it's like my game seems to have all patches expansion and ccs in droves. Someone knows if kinky have something to do with that?

Minor issue. My Sim was raping his masochist partner, when the butler asked to join, after the event finished, the butler hated the Sim that initiated the rape, and moved out. Obviously this shouldn't happen, as it all parties were enjoying themselves, and the butler was the one that asked to join in.

Would love to report an error I bumped into yesterday. The blue script_error window popped up while I was trying to add an updated version of KW_Lady666_Kinky_Animations package (from s.02 to s.03). 

I've attached some .xml-files + the screenshot of the window

 

At the upper left corner of the pop-up window it is said:

Simulating object is null

unable to obtain an interaction object

(seems like some objects could not be found... thought it's strange - as I have all the expansion packs of the game)

 

I tried searching for the solution here, but to no avail (i'm sorry if I missed it somehow). 

I also tried typing the package name in lower-case letters, but it didn't help, as well as clearing the cache. 

I never order my sims to woohoo via objects, they do everything on their own

Kinky World (I'm on build 232) is only turned on for my current family. So no other sims in the town should have been trying to use any objects for sex

 

When I rolled back to the previous version of that package - everything worked well, as always (I could load it easily). So I wonder, if the problem could be with the updated KW_Lady666_Kinky_Animations set itself? Has anyone had the same issue with it?

Thank you for your answer! but you don't seem to understand what I meant. Lady666 offers three different animations sets for Kinky World:

-KW_Lady666_Animations s.05 (I've updated to this version from s.04 and am currently using it with no issues)

-KW_Lady666_Crazy_Animations s.01 (optional, I'm not using it)

-KW_Lady666_Kinky_Animations s.03 (special Kinky animations, this is the package I have a problem with, when tyring to update it from s.02)

Before Lady's latest update, I had been using her animations for KW with no problems on build 232.

Hi guys

 

i've made a guide to create and upload videos in kinky TV. There are also the tools you need, except Virtualdub and s3pe. 

 

Please use zip to compress things for public use. It makes life much easier, as the format is far more universal than rar, which can only be opened by winrar (if using rar5). 7z is also free and superior to WinRar in performance and compression.

Just finished the update from kinky_animations s.02 to s.03 myself, no bluescreen or popup-window.

 

Still suggesting to update OKW itself, as build 232 seems pretty outdated, latest is build 269.

VERY ANNOYING ISSUE!

 

Every time I try to swap animations all participants freeze, then stop with nothing completing. Ugh, hope this is getting fixed, VERY irritating. For now on I'll have to use only one animation for the entire duration and then go again with another animation I'd like to swap to but couldn't.

This will be fixed in the next public release and a pleasant surprise with it.
