solomoncrow Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Everything works for me but occasionally attempting to change positions causes both sims involved to stop animating for the duration of the session, they do eventually finish and end up going back to their normal routine but its the only bug I'm noticing. I started a new world for 0.2.5 and no previous parts of OKW were involved. Only problem I'm noticing other than most of the menus and descriptions still being raw strings or requiring information. Overall this is coming along fairly nicely. On page 173 I believe I've mentioned a slight fix for this, if what I posted doesn't make any sense please let me know. My brain works slightly different than most so things that make sense to me won't always to others.

However, they don't seem to do it when interacting with the Sims in random households. So I'm wondering if it's only with service/role sims. Also I noticed that all the bladder/hygiene stats are blank on my toilets, so Sims are no longer using toilets, and are peeing everywhere else. Does KW modify toilets in any way? I have no idea what else could be causing the toilets to be broken. What do you mean by "the bladder/hygiene stats are blank"? Well if it's a choice of putting up with these dog errors or getting rid of errortrap, then I'd rather keep errortrap and put up with the errors, as it fixes a lot more than it breaks. In build/buy mode, the bladder/hygiene stats on the toilets are blank and the toilets are no longer functioning correctly. It's going to take me a few days to narrow down which mod is causing the problem, but thought I would ask the question here, as it's only a recent problem since starting a new world with the new KW version. One warning about ErrorTrap: It can eventually cause a freeze after loading a saved game with Kinky installed. And I mean a "hard" freeze as in, the game never resumes and you can't click anything at all and have to force-close the game. Hopefully, you won't encounter it and I have no idea what causes it, but at least you'll know why if it ever happens. I have to play without ET. Instead, I only put it in when I need a clean start and only after removing Kinky. Just a heads up.

With whoring, your sim can solicit a customer or you can leave your whore alone and let the sim do the work for you. What is the household funds? The Call Girl, your sim must be registered as a Call Girl for this to work. Shortly after registering, your sim should start receiving calls for service. Onikikay has provided in the release NPC's to supply the cash flow since not all of the townies could meet the requirements. Try setting your message notification on Debug so that you can see if there is an error message that you are receiving. This was implemented by Onikikay as a way to troubleshoot why the service would not be working. Other Patreons, correct me please if I am wrong.

Thank you for the reply OregonRain2, I could solved the problem with Call Girl, but I still have the problem with whoring, I leave my sim waiting for custumers but when she finds one, he always tells me “Oniki.KinkiMod.Whore.SolicitCustomer.Feedback_Question” then he leaves and my sim continues whoring for a new custumer. And yes, I have all the animations and all of them are activated.

My sims pee all over the place except in the toilets, and at times the game will freeze upon start up causing me to force close. the only solution so far has been to use a previous saved game which can be quite annoying.

If you mean the freeze where you hear sounds and see animations but nothing works, well that freeze happens from time to time without any mods. It's been an issue since day one. Yes a broken game or mod can cause it to happen more often, but I've been lucky not to have that issue for some time. If you mean a freeze where it's completely locked and just hasn't CTD, then it's likely something is broken in you rmods or world, or your hardware is having issues dealing with the game. It shouldn't happen very often at all, but these issues can be very hard to track down. Sims right now is running quite well for me, except these minor incompatibilities. Hopefully they get fixed soon.

BUT when I use objects, it freezes when trying to change animations. The temp fix of choosing another animation while frozen works, but it is not ideal. I think I saw that Oniki was working on this issue, and it seems rather common. Great mod, though! If you can find out how to fix this glitch, it will will be even greater!! If this is true in 2.5, then it is not working properly : with 70k funds, my sim autonomously enters whore mode as soon as she enters a community lot - but only the first lot she enters each day. Also, three other sims whore themselves in town, including her current inactive boyfriend, though they each have more than the fund limit. I've tried making one of the townie whore active, stopping him from whoring, and going back to my family - ten sim minutes later he was whoring again (funds :30k). Reinitializing the sim had the same effect ( none ) ( fun facts : his best client is a NPC ghost, she sims to go right to him every night she spawns. Older fun fact : when my sim was whoring, in her teen years - because she was forced to by her step father, long story - her most faithfull client was the child protection NPC. Dark is the world. Last fun fact : the boyfriend whores himself in his graduate uniform. Fetishes, you know.) EDIT : Damn - I wanted to post this a few days ago and totally forgot. Fun "bug". The "defender" situation seems to work well in rape situations : some witness townies will try, after calling the cops, to fight the rapist. The victim then thanks them - if they win. In this case, there were two witnesses. Witness A calls the police. Witness B, a military man, fights the rapists, and win. The victim (who was the town Bike according to Nraas Story Progression) then decides to reward her defender with a kiss (romantic reward interaction with the fight winner). Except she thanked sim A who was just watching, not sim B who did the punching. I found it very funny to watch, and somehow fiiting to the victim's character, as townie A was better looking, and rich I didn't find this very bug-worthy, but I'll let Oniki judge if it should happen or not

In the previous release, I had a message from Kinkyworld everytime a Sim in the town reached a higher level of woohoo or exhibition skill. Has this feature been removed in the 2.5? On a side note, I experimented with making a male callgirl (gigolo). I have to admit that it's love. My male sim gets female clients and the animations change just beautifully, he's only had four clients so far but they've all chosen a different section/object of his hoe-pad. They go from handjob, to oral, to vaginal or anal without me having to hit anything and that's what's up. Edit: Going to add the bondage frame to his place and see if they choose it randomly, that would be the business if they did.

What do you mean by "the bladder/hygiene stats are blank"? Well if it's a choice of putting up with these dog errors or getting rid of errortrap, then I'd rather keep errortrap and put up with the errors, as it fixes a lot more than it breaks. In build/buy mode, the bladder/hygiene stats on the toilets are blank and the toilets are no longer functioning correctly. It's going to take me a few days to narrow down which mod is causing the problem, but thought I would ask the question here, as it's only a recent problem since starting a new world with the new KW version. One warning about ErrorTrap: It can eventually cause a freeze after loading a saved game with Kinky installed. And I mean a "hard" freeze as in, the game never resumes and you can't click anything at all and have to force-close the game. Hopefully, you won't encounter it and I have no idea what causes it, but at least you'll know why if it ever happens. I have to play without ET. Instead, I only put it in when I need a clean start and only after removing Kinky. Just a heads up. If you mean the freeze where you hear sounds and see animations but nothing works, well that freeze happens from time to time without any mods. It's been an issue since day one. Yes a broken game or mod can cause it to happen more often, but I've been lucky not to have that issue for some time. If you mean a freeze where it's completely locked and just hasn't CTD, then it's likely something is broken in you rmods or world, or your hardware is having issues dealing with the game. It shouldn't happen very often at all, but these issues can be very hard to track down. Sims right now is running quite well for me, except these minor incompatibilities. Hopefully they get fixed soon. Nope, I mean a very specific freeze that only occurs when ErrorTrap is used with Kinky. No animations or sounds, the mouse greys out, and if left open long enough the game will crash because memory usage is increasing during the freeze. I've tested this for months, now, and it always happens at startup. Once it happens, you can load the game a hundred times and get the same result each time. Take out ErrorTrap (or Kinky) and it's fixed instantly. Like I said, hopefully it won't happen in your game because it is a pain and I like ErrorTrap, too. But because Kinky is a big mod that changes a larger portion of the game, there may come a time where you'll have to decide between it and some of your other mods. I am having the same problem as some others on here. My sims pee all over the place except in the toilets, and at times the game will freeze upon start up causing me to force close. the only solution so far has been to use a previous saved game which can be quite annoying. Peeing: Do you have the Shooless mod? Freezing: ErrorTrap? If so, remove both, clear your caches and try again.

dizbiz77 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 For the one's that are having the freezing problem when switching on objects, I get it too but I have found something that somewhat helps. If you go to settings>animations and turn random position to off, then you can choose which position right from the start. It's not ideal, cause if you switch it still happens, but at least you can get the position you want right away and it has always worked for me. Then I just let them use that one position the whole time. I know it's not much of a fix but hopefully it'll help someone, lol.
