[Idea] Bound Combat

I had a few ideas about how you could add some positive bonuses to the player while wearing devious devices. They stem from the idea that as you take one thing away, something else becomes stronger to compensate.

 

Idea 1 - Armbinders

Make shouts stronger and cool down faster while wearing an armbinder or any other hand binding device.

 

Your arms are useless but you can still use shouts as long as you're not gagged. Gags block shouting right? I just realized I've never tested that.

Maybe you could make it a system that levels up like gag talking. So the more you use shouts while bound like that the better you become at it.

 

And since armbinders have that little feature where you can block the lock on it, you could safely bind yourself for shout-only combat.

 

Idea 2 - Blindfolds

When blindfolded (using leeches mode effects) make the vision start out really dark, but the longer you're blindfolded the less powerful the blinding effect. At a certain point, give the player Life Detect.

 

Maybe reset the system or have it degrade once the blindfold is removed. It would be kinda dumb if you could just walk around with a non-locking blindfold to use for free life detect.

i know there is one, dd witch i think, which allows you to select from two spells which are castable while in an armbinder. might be worth seeing what direction he wants to go with that mod.

Bound combat is something I'd -really- love to have for DD. Alas, it would require some serious animation work and last time I checked nobody in the DD team had the necessary skills.

This would also be very fun for bondage gladiator/gladiatrix fights.

You could invent a few different types of bondage gladiators then and add a betting system. New attack types would be needed, especially kicking and headbutting. The possibilities would be endless.

You could also do weird "team" matches with e.g. 5 vs. 5 gladiators, but all blindfolded, gagged and in yokes/armbinders. So every gladiator would just wildly kick around, hitting teammates also. Surely something i'd like to watch or paticipate in.

Another cool idea would be "carmaggeddon" like pony girl races, where you can simply try to win by running a few laps, but also can try to beat the other ponygirls unconscious and be the last standing one. As additional difficulty increase beasts would also be let loose at certain stages. For example 4 laps to win, when the first ponygirl completes lap 1 some wolves are let loose. Against them you have a good chance to win or ignore them, but at lap 2 sabrecats are let loose and at lap 3 bears. If you are lucky they slow down your opponents through raping instead, if you are unlucky you are their victim.

 

I would really love wicked circus games inspired by the romans adopted to skyrim style

I just wish the existing "magic casting from boobs" animations would work with a DD armbinder equipped.  Especially with the new DDx restrictive set where tits are about the only thing that aren't covered, that'd just be too perfect.

 

Also, shouting should be disabled while wearing a gag, UNLESS it's a ring gag, then it shouldn't be blocked anyway.  I can understand you can't form words and all, but dude, you're doing magical dragon shouts.  Those should work through a ring gag.

Before anyone says it, yes, I realize the new restrictive set doesn't include an armbinder.  Personally, my toon is running around with that + a steel yoke from cursed loot so...same effect.

only problem is spiderwebs i dont think theres a spell or shout that can break them is there ? with armbinders on you cant acess the spell screen not like oblivion where you press f4 i think it was for spells

I'd love to see a sexy arena mod like the epic one for Oblivion. It wouldn't necessarily have to be all about armbinders though. In my mind I just saw these crappy tit fights from catfight videos. I hope in the future there will be realistic bouncing boobs on attack impact.
