I have been modding Fallout New Vegas for a while and I still don't seem to have a good grasp of it.  Now my game CTD on startup and I don't know why.  I tried modifying the .ini files in my game folder and the folder in my SteamApp folder.  I don't know what to do anymore.  Here are the list of my plugins.

I meant get rid of iHUD, not oHUD. Also don't forget to use uHUD or UIO to make the hud mods work together.

better yeah, still kinda disorganized and I don't know the relative order of the patches by heart - maybe in this case LOOT could help

considering the amount of patch mods, my guess is you have a patch in there somewhere that has a mod as a master that you don't have, which is a known reason for CTD

I'd replace Mission Mojave & its patches by YUP too.

In terms of HUDs:  Oh.  I should have paid attention to that bit.

I do not believe you should have both NewVegasRedesigned and FCO Master enabled at the same time. NVR uses resources from FCO but once you install NVR, FCO needs to be disabled. That said, I do not believe that would make you crash on startup-it would just make characters looks funny. A missing master file sounds more likely. However, if you are using the version of FOMM from this site, I think you would get a message to that effect when you tried to launch the game. You could run your loadout through FNVEdit and check for conflicts and even make a merged patch. Also, I think Mikoto and Lings are not compatible either with each other or with New Vegas Redesigned or FCO. Again, I do not see this causing a crash on startup. Willow will look funny or be invisible if you have those FCO-Willow esps enabled.

Get rid of the individual Project Nevada DLC patches. If you have all the DLC (which you do since you're using TTW), use only the "All DLC" esp. Also, the TTW - Nevada Skies patch should be at the very bottom or else you'll get a pitch black world. 

 

And then there's the part where every Sexout.esm is at the bottom; pretty sure they go at the top. Not for sure though. 

 

Perk Every Level mod isn't needed since PN gives that function (for me it does).

You have probably done this, but i find that FNVEdit is very helpfull for getting proper order to your mod's, or at least making sure that you have mods above, and below pretty close to what is needed.

 

It will also for me quite often spot conflicts, and gives pretty good information as to what you should do to fix it.  It does not catch everything, but it has been very helpful for me.

 

  And yes Prideslayers extentions to FOMM make it also very useful, especially for SexoutNG plugin's
