Hello everyone !

If the seven thousand steps were real, would you be able to climb to the top ? or will you give up through the journey ?

this question has randomly came into my mind today while i was at work ( too much skyrim huuheheh  )

would i be able to climb the seven thousand steps ? the height is not the only problem, but the harsh cold condition is also quiet dangerous ..

What do you think ?

If it is anything like the mountains in Georgia(I never though to count the steps up during any ascent),then sure. The view at the top makes the trek up the rocky cliff faces worth it. It would also make for great exercise, something any adventurer can never get enough of.

As of me, i would love to go up just to meditate and get away from the noisy city environment, as long as there is no trolls and wolves xD

not sure i would be able to do it in a one go though, will have to sleep and eat from time to time, so it would take around 1 week to reach up.

I probably at least would try.

Either I would be able to find my true purpose on the way and in High Hrothgar, or I would die on the way, meaning, I have no real purpose anyway :P

The movement actually keeps the cold at bay...

Funny enough. its important to go slow so you don't sweat. You REALLY don't want that sweat to turn to ice on your skin.

Didnt some youtube'er count em long time ago? Think he said its 700 steps. I totally forget who and if it was actually 700.

I realize its probably not the actual amount of steps you care about, just the size of the mountain though :D And yes!

would totally climb them.

If I get to the top and there will be some old men willing to teach me how to shout at people to knock them down or other weird shit, sure why not!

Being the fact that it only takes several game hours, you could hike up it in just about any gear and not worry about any of the actual dangers of mountaineering, then i'd say yes.

Wouldn't even be 7,000 steps if I just take my horse up the almost vertical side of the mountain.  Then it'd be easy.

7000 steps - assuming each riser was 8" then the total height would be 4667' - this isn't the case though as there are several places where the steps go downhill. Even at the maximum this isn't that high and could be easily done in less than a day - that's without the cold, the wolves and the ice troll of course!

to go to High Hrothgar yes i would and if there was any wolves or mountain trolls i would probably either kill some to use there pelts to keep warm and for food and others i would probably end up doing like my character does in skyrim and let them have there way with me, it could be a fun, intrusting, tiresome, beautiful, and pleasurable hike up the 7000 steps, i would also make sure to bring a few thurmises of hot coco that way i have something nice and warm to drink and they would make good hand warmers because it is insulated mug cup thingys.

Meh, I'm already adapted to cold, snowy mountains. Many of them higher than this little hill. I'd pack a lunch, hike up, kill a deer with a well placed arrow, learn a shout from the geezers, then pack the deer back home for a big ol' dinner or twenty.
