My new rig, not much..

This has a modded Skyrim running it background with 198 mods running. so CPU is nice and cool.

Silly question but what program is that screenshot from as i can see quite a few have used it.

Edit: seems i missed the answer first time through the thread, its https://www.piriform.com/speccy

Ram speed is wrong though as its actually 1866 mhz

Comparing to everybody elses i dont get how you guys cope with small SSD's which i assume is your primary drive

Pretty good actually :P I can run every Game smooth on Ultra Setting with this so I'm happy with my PC :)

This is a budget machine I built myself and with some additions over the past three years, but still I manage to run tweaked True Vision on 0.262 and some Langley retextures on this, and sometimes with Wet and Cold and EBT:

Come New Year, and I'll clean it up.

I've built my own PC's since the days of my first 286 machine.

Over the years have gotten some great advice from RL friends, my own experiences, folks from the Tech section here, and Tom's Hardware.

Current Rig-

OS - Windows 7 64 bit

CPU - Intel i5 4570 3.2 Ghz quad core  (best bang for buck when I bought it)

Mobo - ASUS Z87 Pro

Memory - 16 Gb G.Skill DDR3 1866 Ares Series  (low profile, fits under the CPU cooler)

GPU - EVGA Geforce GTX 770SC w/ 2 Gb DDR5 VRAM

Power Supply - Seasonic 760W Platinum rated modular system (normally would have been able to afford the silver or lower efficiency rating but accidentally bought on the one day this beast was over 1/2 off so took advantage of it!)

CPU Cooler - One of the Cooler Master Hyper Series, can't remember exact model

Hdd - Western Digital or Seagate, can't remember, a 400 Gb for OS and a 1 Tb for Data

Case - Antec 900  (always been a fan of cases with windows, and modding/lighting up the inside of my pc.   This one looks good, but is easily the quietest case I've ever run, but with the most airflow, because of the bigger fans and all the mesh.   Case is currently lit with all dark blue lights)

Edit - (OH!  the coolest looking case I ever had was a Lian Li where I had it rigged with Cold Cathode bright blue LEDs normally, but I could flip a switch that I put on the outside and change the interior lights to blacklights and some of the cables and parts would glow with the UV on.  Unfortunately that case is now outdated.  I still have it and may make it into a living room media/steam big picture rig one day)

Peripherals - All Logitech -  G15 keyboard, G5 mouse, and F310 gamepad  (plus a Momo racing wheel system, that I don't keep connected and rarely use anymore)

Next planned upgrades - Really want to upgrade the keyboard to the an Orion Spark, and need to upgrade the Hdds to an SSD for the OS and probably 4 Tb drive for Data.

Current rig (been updating it pieces at a time when I see a sale, old mobo/cpu was like 9yrs old and still going strong.)

Win 7 (everyone I know curses Win 8 so haven't bothered updating)

Gigabyte AMD 290x 3gb

intel 4790k

ASRock Z97 Extreme6

Crappy 1tb hdd

8gb G.Skills Ram (good for now may need more someday)

Seasonic 760W PSU

Ancient customized server case (lol, I'd call it the 'Rat rod' even have a Win95 screen on loadup and UI to throw people off)

So, just got my replacement graphics card in, and Suckit's dad was so awesome to lend me his backup gaming rig to put it in since funds for me are quite short for the time being.

It's not anything insane, I get a consistent 20-30 frames, -everywhere-

...seriously, EVERYWHERE!

it's a really big deal for me because I was living with less than 10 frames on a good day.

So yah, no more sads for me. I almost cried cause it worked so well. And it was relatively painless to switch my harddrive to the new setup. I didn't lose anything.

Just scale down the resolution to, say, 1280x800.
