Your modding experience will be so much better when you can customize and create your own stuff exactly how you want it to! Obviously it'll directly improve how you can mod Skyrim, but learning things like modeling and texturing are valuable skills to have regardless!

Overall, the learning process isn't that difficult if you have the time and motivation to do it! Once you start creating your own basic stuff you'll have a ton of fun. I have a lot of respect for the things Bodyslide and Outfit Studio can do with such minimal tools, but it will never replace actual 3D modeling!

Yeah, obviously vertex-level editing is the highest possible editing quality if done right.

However, I would compare it to using MO vs using NMM.

 

NMM is easier to get started and it has one level of complexity less (data load order), but if you know your way around MO, the higher complexity it has helps a great deal (same applies to Max vs OS imo.).

However . . .

My personal opinion of the software is completely contrary to my recommendation. I quite literally hate the program as I would hate someone that killed my children. Thru no fault of my own, it would never work for me the way advanced tutorials would advertise, and I could never get it to work beyond making a few surfaces or modifying existing 

 

The pinnacle of this came when I received an error message "Instancing not supported for this action". It yielded ZERO hits in both google and yahoo. All the hits you see now are derivative of posts I made on autodesk forums or stack exchange. Not that I was trying to do anything complex either. Animations are no different. I'd follow whatever tutorial for importing skyrim animations and they were simply unusable. Had a modder (ACDale, ADEC mesh artist) send me is "baseline" file that contained the body, all animations, skinning, etc... and even that was afu.

 

To be clear: My hatred for 3ds max (and autodesk as well) for perennially putting out little more than add-ons to this big, giant, honkin, filthy, piece of shit, syphilitic, trashfuck pile of software is simply boundless. The company and the software should locked in a car for the entirety of a hot August week in Mexico City and then taken out of park and allowed to roll silently into the nearest cesspool. Fuck them, fuck 3dsMax. Fukkem. Hard. In a chest wound.

 

But...

as I said... it works for most and is defacto for skyrim, so there you have it. Download the software and us it well. And then never pay for it.

Problem: when Aradia Rogue armor is equipped Aradia bra does not appear when bra is equipted.

problem 2: bra is clipping with the body but not when the armor is equipped.

the bra and the body is both HDT but when the bra is equipped by its self the body's breast clips through the bra. but when the armor (with the body in it) is equipped the clipping does not happen any more. this is weird because it shouldn't matter even if the armor is worn or not because I am still using the same body type (HDT) and the came preset (CBBE Classic). I am confused.

Caliente's Outfit Studio is such a pain in the ass. Each time I conform to the sliders for the said "more extreme morphs to avoid clipping", I go back to find out that THIS keeps happening..

I'm not sure if you're trolling, but obviously a slider setting of -500% will cause clipping. You're lucky if -100% or 100% doesn't clip already. It depends on the topology of the outfit in relation to the body's.

 

You will have to fix it up with the brushes.

Oh I'm clearly...obviously aware of the meshes limit already. (Hence the more extreme morphs) input I was simply asking a better way to make it fit to that particular weight catagory. Nothing more, nothing less.

yeah so Aradia Devious Now Integrated into Devious Devices 1.7 converison is now canceled because the conversion never came out the way I wanted and the body kept clipping through the bra. 

 

maybe someday somebody will be able to convert these armors.

 

I will just upload the armor that is finished witch is the Living armor.

only converted the cuirass and the boots. did not convert the full version. (why? because I didn't want too) Comes in white and black.

 

does anybody here like to have the armors to have pregnancy support from now on? if so tell me where I can get pregnant supported body so that I can use that weight,

 

no PSB - because it is TBBP and I only use HDT.

not HDT body - because it doesn't work for me so I can't test.
