Hey guys,

Please take a moment to appreciate what you have first. It would mean a lot to me. Thanks.

Lol, you said it, not me.

I had just updated all my mods, finished my follower so far and was really hoping to just play Skyrim this weekend for once in about godknowshowmanymonths, heh.

Like I said anyways. I know about them and will add them soon. I will see how I feel later. Need some me time right now.

Yes, I know Leito has updated. So before anyone asks, you can automatically assume I know cause I watch him and I will add them ASAP.

Since someone will probably come to the thread to tell me. :P

you know Leito has updated .

First of all, great work.

But some of the animations simply aren't being used in game.

A lot of Leito's and 4D's don't work despite reseting animations in SexLab and using FNIS

Soz, misworded that (its late). Are you in alot of "aggresive" acts (i.e. rapes), if you are you will need to toggle these animations for aggresive animations as well.

This may be a user issue or an issue where you don't have mods which tag/use them. If you hit the N key, go into SexLab > Test Animations, select the ones you want from the list and select "Play Aniamtion", if it plays the animation, then it works. I'm afraid without a more information and your own testing I am unable to help you here to say if there is a problem with NSAP.

NSAP is a modders resource. It simply adds animations to SexLab. Unless a mod actually calls on them, then they will not be used. Please understand NSAP's prime fuction is not as matchmaker-like mod. It is an add-on to the framework.

Having some trouble with the latest version, trying to use any animations from 2.4 onward results in the usual error T pose, everything before that is fine. I've run FNIS as usual in MO and added the new files, reset the animation registry, reset and cleaned the entire framework, same result. Had a problem previously when the throne animations were added, when that happened I managed to fix it by making a new "FNIS Output Files" Mod instead of just adding new files to the old one. I also tried them out in a new fresh game in case my save was just too messed up, same results. I'm currently only using the framework, romance, arroused, and lovers comfort, if that matters, it's all worked fine before.

Post your FNIS results. It sounds like it could be an installation issue. When you update in MO, do you remove the full NSAP folder then install the new one fresh one? Have you checked your MO folder that there are no lingering NSAP files from past downloads? You should not just update the mod by doing a merge or anything. I wouldn;t recommend it.

Wiith each version you should at least uninstall it from MO and then install new version (no clean save nessessary and installation should be full remove and full add simply to clear any files that get changed).

Erm, pardon my ignorance, but when you say FNIS results, do you mean the text after FNIS runs, or the created GenerateFNIS-LogFile.txt?

Regarding installation, I always delete the entire mod and install the new version, I also make a new save without NSAP so it can reinstall in MCM.

Firstly, you do not need to uninstall and reinstalled NSAP through clean save methods. It updates using VersionUpdate.

And yes, I mean when you run FNIS< the text in the program that appears once it has completed it's run.

Hmmm. No errors. You have a very basic set up so you shouldn't get a T-pose. Have you tried loading an earlier save? Like I said, no clean saves required as it should just give a debug message that it is updating.

Hi...last days found me in the Problem that i registered all the NSLA Animations and could not register the Estrus Chaurus+ animations anymore.

Question: Is there a maximum amount of Animations that can be registered at Sexlab framework?

Question: If yes, is there a tool that tells me how many animations are registerd and how many are "free" (or any other way)?

I ask because it takes much time to register every Animation peace by peace (Have to reset animations in sexlab, reregister Zaz, reregister EC+, check next Animation in NSLA, etc etc...) to use as many NSAL animations as possible and the EC+ Anims.

Thanks for help :shy:

Taken from the FAQ

Q. During animation registery, some animations from other mods disappear. Is this a bug?

A, It has been confirmed that SexLab can only hold a total of 125 animations. If you go over this limit, some animations will be unregistered to accomodate. Currently these is no fix to this is. [source]

There is no tool I am aware of.

The aniamtions are only tagged as hetero encounters because

  • I assume SexLab and it's aniamtions were original made by hetero users and later updated to support homo content via options
  • there is no specific mod for homo users only that requires homo tags
  • the aniamtions can easily be used by homo users by changing sexuality options in MCM menus.

So really there's no requirement for me to start adding MM and FF to every aniamtion as well at this time. As a person who plays Skyrim in a male/male envoirment, I get just as much use from most of the animations as any hetero user does. All I do is user SexLab's inbuilt alignment options to point schlongs at the right hole.

Points well made but looking at the code behind Radiant Prostitution Tweaked and Sexlab Romance, they both include GetAnimationByTag calls that rely on the FF/MM tags, severely limiting the animations that get returned by those calls. I'm sure they're not the only mods guilty of this. (Romance is slightly better as of the latest version than it was prior, but it still does rely on FF for some calls)

I'm in your camp, the mods should be smarter than that, but as it stands, when someone says, "Hey, I want you to go down on me," in those mods, the only thing that gets returned are animations that are tagged FF or MM, leaving out blowjob or cunnilingus animations that are just tagged with MF. I'd be happy to help add the tags in where appropriate, I think I'm skilled enough to at least do that without breaking anything else. :) I've managed to make changes to my local NSAPAnimationScript.psc and get it compiled and everything. I'd need to clean up some other custom animations I've been toying around with for personal use, but I'd be happy to show you what I've got.

With this particularly in mind, does it ONLY call FF/MM or is it call MF FF and MM all at once? Because where as they aren't many MM or FF specific animations, it may be a forwarding thinking incase such a thing comes out. I cannot say for RPT, but I use SexLab Romance sometimes and I don;t have any issues where animations are ignored in a MM scene due to tagging.I think i'll need to take a better look at the script to fully understand your comments to assess the next steps; can you point me to something specific so I can see what you see (instead of my trawling through scripts, kinda focused on finishing an aniamtion set right now. :P)

you can trie the Sexlab 1.60 Alpha, you can use much more animations and it seems quit stable

Does the alpha version break all my mods? Or can i just upgrade with no worries.

Posted

i dont have any mods that are not working or make problems since the upgrade, as some other people said its quite stable for an alpha.

But its still an alpha so if want to stay on the save side you have to wait since the final release of 1.60.

RPT: If you look at the PerformSex function in mf_handler.psc which starts about line 580. Look down to line 618 or 631, where it hard codes FF or MM plus whatever other tag was specified. It then defaults to MF/FM animations if nothing is returned, but then, that would severely limit the possibilities if say, just one FF or MM animation was returned, that particular animation would play 100 percent of the time.

SL Romance: sdsRomanceLesLove.psc does the double whammy of Lesbian and FF. At least in the last version, I think they removed FF from sdsRomanceOralFFStart.psc, but it would have been nice if they put in Cunnilingus instead. There's no back up to an MF/FM set of animations at all in LesLove.

By the sounds of things, there mods look for MM and FF specific animations and if not available go to FM/MF? I think that's how it should be. Instead of calling a majority of animations we already have MM and FF as well just ot get them tagged, it should be left for content creators (such as myself) to make make specific animations for MM or FF so that these tags can be used.
