Mister X Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Heyho, maybe here's someone who can help me. I have the problem, that I get a freeze or CTD anytime I come nearby Whiterun. It's only since I've installed Open Cities but really want to try it. So now my question is what you think which mod is incompatible to OC? My personal guess is Abigail just because she's the only mod that affects Whiterun alone as what I see. Am I wrong? So I don't think that it's another mod because the CTDs only appear nearby a big city that is affected by OC. And yes, I am using Sheson's SKSE memory patch.
myuhinny Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Well the easiest way to find out if somethings is causing the CTD is to turn it off and see if there is no CTD then you will know it is that mod doing it. So I would try turning off the Abigail mod and then checking if you CTD. If it is the Abigail mod then it would probably point to incorrect skeleton being used for her since she needs a TBBP/BBP skeleton. If a person that needs a TBBP/BBP skeleton has a incorrect one and you enter the cell where they are at it can cause you to CTD.

mybrainhurts Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Open Cities is a basket case. Abigail is a fine mod, I use her myself. Your CTDs are not because there's something wrong with Abigail or her skeleton but because OC is incompatible with anything that adds anything to any city modified by OC. I skimmed your load order and noticed Prison Overhaul - that affects every city, so even disabling Abigail I suspect you're still going to crash. Like I said, I just skimmed your list - there are undoubtedly other mods that also affect the various cities. Drop any mods that touch any of the cities and then you'll be able to enjoy Open Cities. bradleyh Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Open Cities Skyrim requires an SKSE.ini with the Memory Block changes. ENBoost is recommended (and has been required for Me to use OCS) for the Mod to remove V-Ram from counting towards the 3.1 Gb limit of RAM Skyrim has. If You are a fan of Texture Replacers and High Resolution then You should think about getting ENBoost anyways. As mybrainhurts has mentioned if You use OCS You need to be careful with Mods that alter the Gated Cities like Markarth, Windhelm, Riften, and Solitude.
Mister X Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 Yeah, the problem mods are Abigail specifically in Whiterun and Prison Overhaul anywhere So, Abigail wouldn't be a problem, there are other nice followers, too, but I don't wan't to miss the PO anymore in my pervert profile -> No loading screens only in normal gameplay... PS: Thx bradley, but I did know this, I'm a fan of STEP where all of this also is mentioned
