Creating an animated penis

well, it works for me (although there are still some issues, nothing to problematic)

so I could use the underwear model as the default, and the nude as the, well, nude one? My fear is that I'd lose some features by having the penis nudesuit instead of default. Like some of the random variation in size and stuff.

Hello there!

 

For starters, I just want to thank everyone involved, because this is simply such an awesome thing. My bevy of male companions thank you as well. Skyrim began as such a wonderfully inclusive game, and now with your work, it has become even more so.

 

With that said, I am having the hardest time with this update. It got so screwy, that I did a complete reinstall, and put all the mods in from the ground up.

 

Sadly, I have perma-undies, unresponsive schlongs (and tiny ones at that), holes in the crotch, or missing prompts (no "Hey Stud") in any saved games. Sometimes on loads after the initial one, the mod doesn't load at all, and a little alert prompt flashes. I figured this would happen, and was prepared to start a new game.

 

But new games have the horse glitch- causing the kart physics to go haywire.

 

I don't want to be another person asking, "What am I doing wrong?" ...But, "What am I doing wrong?"

 

Here's my load order:

With this current order, I get perma-undies and holes in the crotch for other NPCs on saved games, and glitchy karts/horses on new games.

 

Thanks again for the wonderful Mod- everything was great before I attempted the update. I have no problem reinstalling that game again if I need to.

The v2.03.009b was a bit of a fail on our end, because we werent expecting to have performance issues. We rushed it, because it had important fixes and features requested. We are now revising the script redesign, to avoid performance problems. I do want to believe that all those problems you are describing are just a result of that

 

The glitching carts/mount should have been fixed with the last release (v2.03.009b). At least we added a condition to check if the actor is mounted before using the SKSE function that causes it

 

As for all other problems:

- Check if you have SKSE correctly installed and launchig it (scaling issues are SKSE related)

- go to the MCM module, and disable and enable again the Schlongify option

Hi Rudgerwulf,

Sorry i just checked and it seems that the "fix" i did does not account for cart riding situations :(  will have to investigate what can be done about that, but you could for now just ride the cart to the start with SOS disabled, and then enable it.

However i and many others successfully used SOS on very old saves, there is just this one issue that bethesda screwed something up with the 1.9 update that broke/breaks older saves randomly.

 

Please give more details about "a little prompt flashes", i have no idea what that would be. The update from 2.03.007 to 2.03.009 might take a while and during that time you should not open the mcm menu or save, or change locations. But it seems you went to install 2.03.009 fresh, and that should not cause any performacne issues or loading problems as you described.

Also having both, the perma undies issue and the hole in the crotch at once seems quite dubious to me!

Can you perhaps PM us logfiles of a load where you get those problems ?

We are working hard to stabilize it, but it is really difficult if it works on our systems and we have to guess what differences could cause it not to work on others systems. So any more details you can give us like the logfiles are greatly appreciated, your load order looks perfectly fine though!

Thanks for the quick replies you two!

 

I reinstalled SKSE, but nothing seemed that different. Then I opened my last clean save (followers were waiting outside, I was alone, inside Breezehome) and waited a bit. I showed up in the revealing armor, and underwear. Everything loaded, and then I went and disabled the schlongify NPCs option. Not much happened. I went and clicked the option back on, and my underwear was gone, with the base (smallest i assume) schlong in its place.

 

I went outside, where my followers were waiting- but they all had underwear, even with the let's get naked option clicked, and no dialouge for "hey stud."

 

However, regular townsfolk had the "hey stud" option available, but all seemed to have unscaled schlongs.

 

Tonight I'll dig up some log files (where do I find those?)... I may also just try another clean install, just do your two addons, and see if that works.

EDIT: Sorry to confuse. I AM still working on it.

 

Smurf/Vector seem to be taking over on getting this working for females. It's far better this way, so send any questions/etc their way.

I learned a lot so it's not a complete waste.

Ok, before anything else:

 

I need feedback ASAP to know if the NMM installer works or fails! Dont use the download manually option, unless you want to look at the archive and get reeaaally confused! I will also wait for Smurf's feedback, in case he wants to upload it, but since LL only allows 1 user to manage the mod page, I'll leave it to him to do it in case he feels up to.

 

If you were already using a version PRIOR to v2.03.x, read and follow the install instructions carefully!!!!!!!! Beta Testers that were already using v2.03.x, should be safe just to uninstall the previous version and install the current one.

Thanks for the work but i still have some strange underwear problems with the latest Version, i installed it, load my game(was in a Cave at the Time), the messages told me everyting is initialized. Next i checked my follower with Hey Stud and he got a schlong, the dead Bandits also got them to.

Then i went to the next Bandit Camp and all of them got underwear, i reloaded befor killing them, disabled und enabled Schlongify option and killed them again, still all had underwear.

So i  checked a NPC(Farmer) walking on the street nearby and he got a schlong, went to the next Town the Guards all have Undis, the normal NPCs all got schlongs.

I had a problem with SexLab, after some point the dick went flaccid (limp-dick)... that makes me feels bad, am I not hot enough ?

 

Is this version completely compatible with sexlab ? I think that the ''Page Up / Page Down'' should control your partner dick, and ''shift'' controls yours (if you are male-male type, or futa in the future) 

am I right to expect the Futa option in the future ? and if so, will it be compatible with custom races ?

 

btw: the mod Is great, the new version have a good size for my taste, hope you don't give up. grats.

Making it compatible for custom races is however a little bit more tricky, we are currently working on giving potions the ability to schlongify races unknown to SOS (so you don't have to make a custom SOS addon just for that race) but we are not quite there yet. And of course if that custom race also has a unique body mesh, the schlong of the addon needs to be adjusted to fit that specific mesh (and textures probably too).

Nevertheless since so many people demand it, i am sure there will be some that will also volunteer to do that bit of work. Vector and me are unfortunately burried with work on the core features, fixing, stabilizing and improving stuff, so we have no time now to work on this matter for now. We will however gladly support anyone who attempts it and needs our assistance.

This might be confusing, each of us claiming the other is doing it  :shy:

To put things clear, he does the schlong stuff, we help him with getting the SOS addon ESP set up properly :)

friskychicken, i remember you did a equippable futa mod a while ago, got no interest to make it an sos addon ? :P

Well, Vector told me you guys are handling the more technical stuff inside of the mod itself, like ESPs or whatever. I think I misread what Vector said because I was tired.  Oops. I'll edit that post maybe.

I'm still working on the changes themselves. I'm new to this stuff though so I'm learning as I go along. Someone good at this stuff would have been done by now I imagine.

 

As an update of sorts, I think I found one of the problems I've been having. Someone else more experienced might think otherwise so I'm including an image:

This is the flaccid "animation". That "Absolute:World" area is what interests me. The bone that's highlighted is GenitalBase, the one I've been relying on to get stuff into position. Is this "animation" overriding the location I've been updating in skeleton and meshes?

If so, it's no wonder I've been having so many problems. I'm going to edit them and see what happens.

Also, I've learned to be careful when editing ESPs.

LOL... we've had similar results to that, when we were developing subshapes. one of the tests I made, made me chuckle for 2 days, whenever I thought about it LOL

 

Anyway, I think I already answered to your question in the PM, but was still unsure what exactly were you asking! and btw... it took us about 6 months to get here Superman, and weeks and weeks of frustation to get the havok shit to work as I wanted to! At some points, I started to think in giving up on it! so dont feel bad if you dont understand how things work, and besides, me and Smurf will help you.

 

Custom Races support done (a bit crude, but the best solution we could come up)! Its not a one button thing, but as close as it gets and by whats possible:

- Shape potions can now be used by any race (even bunnies!) and will check if:

    - Skeleton Compatibilty: if the race trying to use the potion does not have a compatible skeleton, it will not have any effect, otherwise it would CTD the game

    - Design Compatibility: After the Skeleton check, SOS will check if it was designed for that race/gender. If not it will assume its probably a custom race, ask confirmation to the player, and will setup the actor for the shape. For example, females could use it right now, as long as you have a SOS skeleton for females, although gapping/clipping/seams will obviously happen!

 

However, it will still need (besides the mandatory SOS compatible Skeleton) a proper mesh/texture, so no gaps or seams exist. I know some of you are not so picky with this issue, so I'm guessing it will be fine for some. If the reason why you use the custom race is not aesthetic, then you can simply replace the race assets for the ones from SOS. If you use a custom race that provides unique textures/meshes, then I advise you to contact the author to know if he can add SOS custom assets, to their custom race

 

Dont ask me or smurf to do it... is not that we dont want to do, its simply a question of not having available time. Pretty much anyone can easily adapt meshes or textures, however, me and Smurf are the only ones that can improve SOS, fix bugs, add core features, etc...). I hope you all understand our point of view, we are merely being pragmatic and pratical!

 

We have also added 2 more spells, that will help debugging problems that users have, and the erection is finally 100% fixed!

I've yet to have time to mess about with my problems with the latest version- but I just wanted to pop in and say once more that you all are awesome, and thank you again. I look forward to the next version, and perhaps I'll just wait until it's released. The work you're all doing is really superb- and more importantly, a lot of fun. Good luck!
