OK so I recognize that this is likely going to be a very stupid question .. but it can not be helped. I am so new to using the bodyslide that there is still steam coming off of me. The problem I am having and cannot seem to find any solution to is simply how to install these converted files. So I have "Royal hunting" armor. I downloaded the original and put it in my data folder in Skyrim. Yay ! Now I download the pre-converted version and when opening see "Calientes Tools" with the following folders... Bodyslide/shape data, slider sets. Clicking on these files sends me deeper into the rabbit hole. Where and how do I install these folders?

 

PLEASE will someone give me detailed pre-conversion installation for DUMMIES guide. I have looked for the past 4 hours all over but nothing makes any sense to me and I just want to have this armor on my toon. I just need to know how to install these and future files. 

 

Thanks ahead of time for the time I know it will take to spell this out for me.

if I understand correctly you want to install a UUNP conversion of royal hunting? most if not all conversions should be in an archive (7z or RAR or Zip) the caliente tools-sliderset file path is not somthing you should have to worry about in the vast majority of conversion its set up so that your mod manager can recognize where the files belong and put them in the proper place if you use mod organizer(I highly recommend you do) just click the disk icon in the top left of the window find the conversion archive and open it sometimes it will ask you to designate the "data" folder so just check the box of the folder called data and you should be good (some times it will warn you but as long as the file path is correct you can ignore that also to be clear even if the file path is incorrect it wont break your game or anything it just wont work) Is been so long since i used nexus mod manager but there should be some option to open files in it as well

why was it shut down? so it's gone for good? shame.

 

I don't know and apparently neither does ninirim but I would guess either the nudity or because he was porting assets from other games to skyrim

 

Problem with V1nd1ctus armors porting. Removed the armors, returned the patreon, Voilà.

are all his good conversions behind a paywall? I've been looking through his tumblr and I can't find much, the one's I like either have no download or you have to be a patron I believe.

Deathstalker...have you tried the High-Poly hands and feet for UNP...http://mod.dysintropi.me/?s=high+poly

It's not converted to UUNP but it fits those bodies fine (it's all UNP). They do look better though..

(I meant this one :mellow: I confused the 2, halo has a lot of hands & feet,thanks for the

correction Tskone, im using the 7B feet on DatJellyMan's preset and they match

perfectly but the hands...)

From what I've read, almost all of his outfits get released to the general public at some point. Patrons get early access to the "beta" version, as well as "slutty" versions. Also, everything I've seen there except for his older mods are already converted to UUNP/CBBE.

I took a look at this. While the nifs do have a higher poly count, the hands seem to be exactly the same size and shape as the normal UUNP hands. I couldn't detect any difference in size or "slender-ness" of either hand. Most of the vertices line up perfectly. The feet, however, are definitely more slender than the stock UUNP feet.

 

I also noticed that while the fingers had a higher poly count, the wrist - particularly where it meets up with the body nif - had a lower poly count, meaning that you can't get a perfectly seamless connection. The same situation is present in the feet as well. Unfortunately It's definitely noticeable.

Has there been a UUNP conversion for Opulent Outfits 2017?

 

Since it's basically a high-res retexture of the vanilla mage robes every UUNP version of those should do the trick.

Looks like there's a buncha muncha UNPB outfits just came into view (had a look through the mesh folders and they seem to be reapproriated from other mod authors to create a UNPB pack). Real problem is that it seems that they are MAX weight. Even _0.nifs are at max weight.

 

A few from the pics already have been UUNPified by others. But there's also a choice few that have not.
