NazWeed
Is there a policy against it or something? Because I have not seen a single mod on this site that is voice acted. Link to comment
Slammer64
Well, are you willing to pay someone to do the voice-acting then, or perhaps you have a stable full of actors/actresses ready, willing and able to do it? Link to comment
Guest IAmTheOneWhoKnocks
The main reason, honestly, is that mods here are usually made by one person working alone. That person is very unlikely to be good at voice acting. Also, due to the nature of most mods here people might not want to ask other people to help out (on voice acting sites or elsewhere) for fear of disapproval. Â I know that Dark Investigations, however, has voice acting. It's a great mod and you should check it out if you haven't already. Link to comment
D_ManXX2
Â Why aren't any mods on this site voice acted? Â Simple no one volunteered. Also good voice actors are very rare thing. You do have voice actors but then users will complain the voice acting was pretty terrible. Â Also unlike mods / modders there is no pool to get voice actors from. modders did ask for voice actors but then all channles became quite so it is bets to just release mods with silent voice. gregathit
In addition to finding good voice actors (something gaming companies PAY FOR and STILL don't get it done well sometimes), there is a whole other modding side of the equation that is an equal challenge, getting the voices to play and then lip syncing. Â It is often very difficult to actually write the scripts to get the voices to play and lip syncing can be a real challenge. Â Put all three items together and you are doubling, tripling (or much more) the time it would take to crank out a mod, with almost no real payoff. Â Think how long some of these mods take to make as it is. Â Â In the future these obstacles may get easier to overcome, but as it sits today, be well content with subtitles. Link to comment

I'm guessing that you are unfamiliar with the Alicia Painslut,Dragon Break episodes and Summon Succubus Twins mods which are indeed voice-acted.  http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19216-sexlab-alicia-painslut-2014-09-03/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/34777-alicia-painslut-revamped-by-snsd4203-update-alpha-11-0729/ http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1125-summon-succubus-twins/ http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/493-dragon-break-episode-1-bad-wolf/ http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/712-dragon-break-episode-2-the-infinity-engine/  Yes,they may have originated on the Nexus, but they are still fully voice acted mods on Loverslab. Link to comment

Voices are fun, and I would love to voice-act my own mods, but all the above represents a permanent "Too Hard Basket". Link to comment
Molevalence
I prefer to have no voices so then you can use your own imagination or interpretation on how the NPC/PC's will sound. Imagination... I wonder if society even knows that word anymore... Link to comment
Drakenred
theres also the problem of useing a voice actor whos great at there job and they conviced you that they ARE R LEE and that BOY IS HE PISSED at *YOU* In Full Marine Drill Instructor mode and you had better NOTscrew the pooch this time or else. . . and then you just get "generic bored hello" file pop in at the end runing the whole thing because some npc wandered into the frame because they recorded that hours earlyer durring a warmup session   Link to comment
