Sexout Intimacy Project.

 

SexoutIntimacy is a framework that simplifies many of the features one might use when crafting dialog/quests for FNV.  It provides a set of functions that give entry level modders/dialog authors access to more complex scripting. If you know how to edit dialog in the GECK, you can create your own mods with this.

 

While SexoutIntimacy.esm does little on its own, dialog/quest hooks were created as proof of concept examples in order to test the system.  These generic 'test' mods are relatively playable.  Full documentation is included in the packages.

INSTALL:

Spoiler

1. Install SexoutIntimacyData (Required).

2. Install SexoutIntimacy (Required).

3. Install SexoutIntimacyDialog (Optional).

4. Install SexoutIntimacyQuestsFNV (Optional).

5. Install Alternative Sound FX (Optional).

6. Overwrite files in /Data/Sound/fx/SOIntimacy/* to customize sound fx (Optional).

7. Overwrite files in /Data/Sound/songs/SOIntimacy/* to customize music (Optional).

 

 

KNOWN ISSUES:

 

 - This mod is designed to give NPCs autonomy. It is likely to be incompatible with any mod that gives the player direct control over NPC packaging. Any NPC that you need to pose should be excluded from the system.

 

- This mod is not compatible with players that are in a hurry. Clicking through dialog/options/popups/trade windows at supersonic speed will probably break shit.

 

- The use of fast travel while NPCs are packaging is discouraged. Be ready to stand still for moment to let the system catch up.

Thinking about the 'unequip weapons'. Could it be someway tweaked? It makes sense in real life, but in the wasteland? Everybody, even the more peaceful NPCs, is bearing an iron in his/her hip or back. They expect you to do the same. A wasteland inhabitant is (by need) quite used to weapons.

 

I'd set that NPCs just dont like certain weapons...because the ammo It uses can blow an entire saloon or casino if It's unstable. Lets say, you always receive 'negative responses' if you are bearing a Fat-Man...because if you have equiped that, you also have several mini nukes with you. Or if bearing a flamer, you are supossed to also bearing a few fuel gallons.

 

I dont know if this could be implemented, but I'd set the 'unequip weapons' tip just for heavy energy weapons and missile launchers. But for that wepons a very (very) negative reaction from NPCs.

 

Anyway, just an idea.

The weapons thing only applies to low confidence NPCs who have yet to meet you.  If you've talked to them at all, it doesn't effect them.

 

Also Cass and all other companions will probably be the very last NPCs I work on.  Most if not all of them need special consideration worked out on an individual basis.  Cass isn't in the Bi list because that is not the way she views herself.  It's akin to men in prison who view themselves as completely hetero, yet have engaged in homosexual acts circumstantially.

 

That being said, in older copies I did have a way to get Cass drunk, and then Fem on Fem with her.  I will probably bring this back when I start working on and accounting for companions and their mods.

Sorry to be an idiot, but are there any immediate effects I should be noticing upon activating the console? Like, new dialogue options or anything? I suspect I'm just missing something I'm supposed to be doing after console activation.

 

- Equip the terminal.

- Click Start Now to begin.

- Play the game.

 

You can also enable debug in settings, and check the console to see if things are moving.  Walk, don't run, when you want more attention.

I have just a small request to make...

 

Say, it's been a while (before I even played with mods of any kind) that I took a liking to t-t-Ten of Spades. I found him so adorable, so it got me thinking... Could you add a way a way if you're playing a prostitute to give a "discount" to your favorite NPCs? I guess my first prostitute character would love to give the experience of a lifetime to that adorable sniper, but wouldn't have the heart to charge him her usual rates... Especially since she wouldn't need the money. Not that late in the game. :P

Very ingenious mod. I've never been a fan of the ultra sex mods (mod that sexify everything just for the sake of it) though I enjoy it in my games when used in appropriate measure; either as an alternative gameplay element (i.e. prostitution or consequence of certain actions) or to further a romantic plot (where the total absence of it in many RP games seem most awkward and unnatural --  though it doesn't have to be as explicit as what these adult mods offer to be present.). In any case, all that to say that I do appreciate what you've been trying to create.

There are also a lot of possibility of sexy situations that do not necessarily involves hardcore virtual porn, which reminds me: if I remember correctly, in one of the past version of this mod there was a fairly involved quest tracker and possibility of employment as a dancer in some of the caniso of NV. Did that find its way back in this release? or is it on a ToDo list? Or dropped?

The Follies, Fantasies, and Flings will all be added back when I begin to work on quest elements.  Right now I'm still working out the base.  Namely prostitution.  Next will be love triangles.  Once those are stable, then I should be able to get to the fun stuff.

So far so good, i really like the mod and seen  work fine with TTW, i play around Megaton a bit and i love it, give something to do on the "citys". Before i only back to Megaton only for eat, sleep, sell loot, heal me and get out fast i can for dont die of boredom irl because i donr had nothing to do. But with this mod i had some reason for interact with the other persons. Now fallout meet the sims aleast on relationship aspect and that si great because make it more rpg and less only action.

 

 

Only one quiestion: i am not english native speaker and dont understand when  say "gold digger"  ( slang? ) ( if remember well words ) i understand the word but not on sexual or relatioship context, for me dont had any sense because i no miner or exist gold mines or fallout.

Good to hear.  Danky. There's still a long way to go, so don't expect smooth sailing just yet.  This is still in Alpha testing, but we're getting there little by little.

 

Gold Digger = Pretends to have a genuine relationship, but is really only interested in wealth.

The OP is more or less the readme.  I've been adding documentation as it comes to my attention, either through updates, or in response to posts in this thread.  There is simply too much for me to keep track of off the top of my head, so I doubt I'll be able to produce a complete wiki in one sitting.

 

If you think something needs to be documented, feel free to bring it to my attention and I'll add it.

 

Condition is already calculated into the value sum.  What did you have in mind exactly?  Remember that I still need to expand on gifts that the NPC will keep and use, which will be part of living together, which in turn requires that I first complete love triangles.

Installed, checked 'start now' when i was asked and played 2 hours with this mod i still wonder what it is supposed to do. Is there any way to know ? is this a framework/resource for something else ? did i screw the installation ?

 

Updated the documentation in the OP.  Try turning on debug and checking the console to make sure the mod is running.

As I already wrote when this mod was still in general section, the idea is interesting and covers a serious lack of a RPG game.

But, maybe, it's a bit too much complicated.

And it should be refined in some parts.

For example:

 

1. The "walk" choice to have NPCs notice you is a bit off while I'm sneaking for a combat. My followers think that I'm "walking" and, too much often, they interrupt me while I'm trying to kill a lot of enemies with furtive mode. Too bad.

 

2. Expecially for non-emglish users there are some difficulties to understand the "slang" you use and, of course, the choosen answer is not always the good one.

Maybe you could consider to use a more "scholar" english for a more "international" use?

 

Suggestion:

Even is this mod is complete, in further development, testing and a long term project, would you consider to make another one more simple?

I mean:

a. You are "checked out" the same way.

b. NPCs approach you and simply ask for sex (directly).

c. You (the Player), could accept, refuse, postpone (a "maybe" answer), ask money in change.

d. Several option for the "asker", like accept gently, insist, try to rape, refuse to pay.

 

Simple, direct, quick. A more elegant alternative to a mod like "working girl", just to say.

And, mainly, a different way to handle a sort of player's whoreing in which the initiative is by the NPCs trough dialogue.

 

My two cents.

There's a reason this is in WIP section labeled Alpha.

Thank you for reminding me.  I forgot about this.  Fixed for the next copy.  Also, there is very little accounting for followers yet.  You might want to exclude them.

I checked the console and the mod seems is running. But for example there is not a single new dialog with any NPC i met, is it normal ? is there a simple way to test if the mod is functional ?

 

Just tested fine for me starting in GoodSprings.  Where are you in the game world?  I did recently add support for restricted cells.  If you're inside one this mod will disable itself.

 

Also note that NPCs need time to process.  If you're flying by in a hurry, they'll likely not be picked up by the mod at all.
