Sexout Intimacy

Recommended Posts

I'm basing this on (bad) memory, but I think it had something to do when the package was added. I had them usually in an end script which may or may not fire in "menumode" instead of gamemode and thus the bug happened. As a workaround, I think I had the result scripts fire a gamemode quest script to add packages or added the packages to the NPC beforehand and activate it with a variable switch.

With all these new-fangled UDFs and UDEs this is probably easier to accomplish for any NPC, than it was when I was doing it.

The package stays superimposed for the current play session. If you save the game and reload it while the package is running and not yet finished it will break most likely.

- friend zone fix

Really? even here when can make friendzone jokes?

EDIT: I noticed I get the 'friendly dialogue' with every Followers of the Apoc female NPC. Something faction related?

I've been trying to recreate the problem with no success.  Mainly because I keep getting hijacked by other problems that I've been finding.  There are no special settings for FotA.  Now that I have the locked out bug pinned down (I think), I can start hanging around at the Fort and see if I can figure out what's going on.  What do you have your orientation set to in mod settings?

EDIT: Hey wait a minute.  I just thought of something.  What is your PCs alignment?  If they are good, and you are evil, it's no wonder they're all incompatible!

EDIT EDIT: NVM they're neutral in my game.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Confirmed.  FotA Guards at Mormon Fort are capable of being compatible.  Female PC, Mod Settings [Mixed], SexoutNG Player Orientation Bisexual.  Also completed a 'Walk with' activity, with an incompatible guard, could not recreate disappearing.  Will keep trying.

Aligment: still neutral (seeker), because I'm still in level 3. Karma should tend to positive, for killing Powder gangers and not killing/stealing from innocents.

I noticed the freezed NPCs tend to happen in interiors.

Maybe too much stats processing causes this? Along with this mod (and Its requirements), I also use pregnancy, spunk and SO sounds.

It's not alignment, I was just grasping at straws.

I use those mods too and still have yet to witness this problem.  So the FotA Guard incident happened in an interior?  Or you've seen it in both the Mormon Fort (exterior), and some place else?

Any news on this T?

On the issues boon is having or the dance dealy?  I've been re-naming thousands of files in the sound replacer mod for the last few days and haven't gotten to do any playing.  I'm almost done though.  I'll probably start play testing again tomorrow and get back to this as per usual.

Good thing too.  It's been like some nightmare with Lamb Chops singing the song that never ends.

The frozen NPCs always happened in interiors. For example, with Sunny and Trudy in the Prospector Saloon. It never happened outdoors.

About the FotA guard, It's a totally different issue. I noticed It's not just with certain guard, but every FotA female NPC in the mormmon fort.

I dont have the 'casual dialogue' option with 'em, but 'friendly dialogue'. As if they were lesbians (maybe all of 'em are? lol). I didnt customize anything, just started tracking.

With these FotA I never got the frozen NPC during an activity, but I never went indoors, so I dont know.

What is orientation set to in this mods settings?  My first two passes in the Mormon Fort, all FotA female guards were incompatible.  The next 3 passes produced several combinations of compatibles and incompatibles.  I think you just got a bad spot of luck when you first went there.  You could try resetting them with the customization options.

As for the other thing, I'm still on the hunt for an occurrence of it.

As I said, It happened in certain locations, like the Props saloon and the V&V casino. Maybe are the places themshelves what are causing this? They are heavily scripted and gotta a lot of dialogue and quest triggers.

Nobody else reported that, perhaps It's just a conflict in the mods I use or something.

Could be.  I too get some location specific wonkiness (crash on dialog under the statues at the outpost), just not this particular issue.  I'm going to fool around with the package settings on this next copy and we'll see if that helps the invis issue.

If there is a trade involved in the activity, the NPC is supposed to freeze until the trade is completed (either you give them something or they give you something).  The disappearing, not so much.

EDIT: Next time it happens can you let me know which activity it was?

I'm not having any luck with the prostitution part. I've read the post you made about dancing on stage being the easiest way, but I haven't really seen any results. I've been doing it in the atomic wrangler, I was able to sleep with the comedian ghoul once, but there's nothing about being able to sell sex.

I'm also somewhat confused as to what 'provider' means, someone who sells weapons/items? I visited a couple of shops and didn't see any prostitution options.

Simple way to check if you have acquired any patrons.  Open the control terminal.  Go to World Settings.  If you see Customize Wages, you're already a prostitute.  If it's not displayed, then you need to 'hook' at least one patron using the various methods.

I did in fact fix a lot of prostitution stuff in this latest copy.  Maybe you'll have better luck with the new one.  I've also added a new indicator greeting dialog for patrons, so you'll know who they are now.

For this mod: Provider is a very loose term as it applies to mating instincts/culture.  A provider has either a cultural or instinctual inclination towards the expectation that they should 'provide' in exchange for mating rights.

A non-provider, similarly, has the inclination towards the expectation that they should receive something of tangible value in exchange for 'merely the consideration' of granting these rights. lol

Generally these roles play out as expected, but there are exceptions.

Continued playing with this today, went to camp mccarran, did the morales quest/got license. After that I had sex with spades and traded sex for goods with sterling/bitter root. The customize wages option showed up like you said, but I've been unable to get anyone to have sex with my character. I got betsy's disposition/lust/desire over 400 but kept getting shut down. Tried with spades, up to about 250 on him and I get negative or tease responses every time. (Female character for what its worth).

Are you asking them for sex, or waiting until they ask you?  You should only get a tease response if you're asking them for sex.  It sounds as if you're trying to force the issue, which could have negative results.  A 250/400 desire is a good indication that the NPC is being smothered with attention, and is not being given the chance to spend those points.

My advice is to back off and let them come to you when they're ready.  Use dialog like spice.  A pinch here, a sprinkle there.  Heaping it on will only waste allotted daily dialog, and turn them off in the process.  ie. a desire of 400 is a waste of 300 desire points.

Another thing is not to get too attached to a specific patron.  If they aren't buying, then they aren't buying.  Move on to another patron and come back to them later.  Also, letting them 'miss you' by being absent for a day or two can give them a 'boost' the next time they see you.

Remember that prostitutes are playing the non-provider role.  As such, the only thing they really have to do to get patrons to solicit them is A. Be available, and B. Look appealing.  You really shouldn't have to try harder than that.  I just put on an outfit that I know will turn them on, then hang around.  It's that simple.

I'm not sure if I set Betsy as a provider to start or not.  Quick tip.  All sm/gang/military members begin with some degree of dominance.  If you can get Betsy to turn dom, she'll become a provider if she isn't one already.

My best day as a prostitute was at Forlorn Hope (nearly 2000 caps in one evening).  I am always busy while working that area, and without any dialog effort whatsoever.  Just walk around looking sexy.  Though personally I find Freeside to be the most fun.

EDIT: Another tip.  Revisit old lovers whom you already know are interested in having sex with the PC.  They often make good patrons.

So I got it all installed (Correctly I hope) and I am encountering a little thing that I hope you don't mind if I ask if this is normal. I have TTW installed, so as I'm talking to the people of Megaton, I try to customize them to test if the mod is all up and running and it always gives me the message that the NPC is not ready for customization yet. What does that mean? I wait a while as well to see if it just takes a while for them to be added into a list or registry or something and still nothing. I also notice I really don't get much reaction from crowds and such if I run around naked, which I remember I did get in a previous version of this mod back when it was called "Intimacy." Maybe I missed something? If so I apologize. I'm just rather confused.

I don't have TTW or FO3.  So anything I say will be little more than a guess.  That being said, the best way to test if the mod is working is to turn on debug and monitor the console.  You might also try going to FNV world, and making sure it works there first.

EDIT: I could guess all day long on this, but I should add that if the save game you're playing has ever had the old 'intimacy' mod loaded into it, you'll need to start a fresh game.  Clean save won't help.  Any save that has ever loaded the old mod should be considered corrupted, and this mod won't work with any such save.

Alright, that's fair. Thank a bunch for the tips! I'll go give them a try and see if I can get any results.

Wow... I just read through the thread and damn, very well thought out mod (I thought this only existed in skyrim).

Looking forward to playing and testing this. Will definitely leave feedback and reports.

I read in an earlier post that putting on accessories, applying a mask or "wearing particular clothing" will affect the NPC stats and their disposition towards the PC. Out of curiosity, how is this done? Did you assign properties to each different outfit? How will this work for non-vanilla/mod added outfits?

Would you recommend I disable all other SO plugins while using SDRL? For example, SexualAssault since that mod also uses stalkers/sneaking; Tryouts for its %approach function...etc. Or is it sufficient just to set approach rates and % chances to zero in the other mods?

Though the last OP update was on the 18th Dec. Is this still being worked on? Or is everyone just out for the festive season? Is there a particular update procedure? And also un-installation?

Thanks in advance for bearing with all my questions.

Well it's getting there.  This is still alpha, so currently it's rather basic.  Feedback is always appreciated.

The accounting of outfits is independent of the actual clothing items.  This means that any item you can wear in-game can be set by the player in-game.  No clothing items are edited, but some may already have acquired categorization through SCR lists, which can also be altered by the player in flight.  ie. If SCR puts the item in the 'looks slutty' list, that item will look slutty.  If you don't want it to look slutty, you can take it out of the list (disable looks slutty in the appearance menu in the control terminal), as well as put it into other lists (enable pretty instead).

However, this is only part of the equation.  The other part is how the NPC interprets these 'looks'.  ie. The look (whatever it is), appeals to NPCs on an individual basis.  Item value (expensive clothing), as well as item condition, are also accounted for.  The individual NPCs mood, motives, orientations, proclivities, preferences, etc. are also factors.  The factors are extremely numerous!  If I mapped it all out it would probably be 3 times as large as the OP as far as information and variables.

In short, this applies to all clothing items in the game.  Vanilla/Non-Vanilla doesn't matter.  ie. I use The Spice of Life mods clothing all the time, and simply set them to my own opinions.  It should work the same for any other clothing added to the game.

As far as other mods go...  I have sort of a rough list in my head of what I would like this mod to be used with.  Most of them probably aren't compatible atm.  The main problem with this isn't so much a matter of compatibility of function, but one of compatibility of philosophy/continuity (and a dash or three of laziness admittedly).

When I began this mod I got rid of almost all of my SO mods, and have slowly been adding them back as I advance.  I've been using Spunk for a few months or so now (going well).  I've recently added Wear and Tear to my testing, because I want this to work with that also.

Currently there is only really one mod I know this probably will never work with and that's Tryouts for obvious reasons.  Sex Assault is replaced by this mod out of the necessity for more detailed tracking, but I have no testing on the new version whatsoever (haven't tested it since before Odessa set it straight).  Breeder I expect things to go wrong, but again, no testing at all.  Solicitation same as Assault.  I'm sure there are a lot more.

For me, the above mods simply do not accommodate my personal play style.  However, I am not in the least bit opposed to accommodating other peoples play styles.  That being said, the day someone begins to regularly report on using ANY mod with this one, is the same day I'll look into what can be done about using them together.  This is still alpha, with lots of room for fine tuning, outright changes, and expansion.

Yes I'm still working on it, but lacking any feedback, I tend to work on it during a single play through.  Because there are so many variable outcomes with this mod, it's difficult to cover a lot of ground by myself.  I generally alternate between a promiscuous play through and a faithful romantic play through.

For me personally, yes the holidays.  For install/uninstall just rename the 7z to fomod and install/uninstall with FOMM.  Right now it's very loose.  I'll keep a short list of recent changes in the second post, as well as any unpublished changes I've made for the next copy.

No sweat.  Anytime.

Perfume bottle resource if you want/need more gift options.

Since I'm un-ninja'ing for a second, should disposition get ~600?

Wow.  Good find!  Very nifty.  Those could double as cologne too.

And no, 600 is 500 more than you need for a disposition reaction.  Someone above reported the same thing.  The only thing I can think of is that the NPC in question has stopped processing altogether.  NPCs with triggers greater than 100 should be reset when they run through.

Are you getting any 'cycledelay' debug lines in the console?  If not, the system has probably halted on a nul ref.  Which should be fixed in this latest copy.

Link to comment

Having in mind how wastelanders look, they gotta have the same body odor as 'the walking dead' characters. Just after a hardcore session of irradiated water and abraxo, cologne would be noticeable. But, hey, there are two or three of those bottles which shape is lore-friendly enough to fit in the game.

If possible, it could be a nice addition, as It could be a nice gift for certain NPCs, a WTF-esque (neutral reaction) for most, even a bad gift for others.

Veronica would love it, as she loves the glamour of pre war ladies. Or Jas Wilkins, she loves luxuries. The White Glove Society. Or Benny. Or Santiago, the suave guy [...]

But IMO, most NPCs would react in a neutral way. Or even negatively, as they may think you are mocking 'em (which could be a way to deliberately piss some NPCs off).
