Pretty sure its the normal map.  I used to use it but I had to stop. I would try to just use the msn,dds file personally.

Looks to me like she is leaning forward, so you see the road between her legs. The neck “gap” is most likely a collar, too.

Right, ok that makes sense then.

The collar thing I did think of but it looked too jagged, even for a low poly mesh but now you've pointed out her pose I can imagine that join between body and neck getting distorted.

 

I award you the Holmes magnifying glass for solving the mystery... Well it was a mystery to me, at least.
