Sarou89 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Hello there ! When I launch a new game, I have the message below: Outdated or missing "Fores New Idles in Skyrim" (FNIS) install detected. germanicus Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 You do have outdated FNIS creature pack. The newest version is 5_1
Ashal Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I'm using: - The last version of FNIS users (v 5.1.1) I've runned the Generate exe, and it detected Sexlab without problem. FNIS Behavior V5.0.2 28/08/2014 15:07:24 One of these things is not like the other.
bradleyh Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 You have an error in Your installation, Your installer has not placed the correct files in Skyrim\Data\tools. This is assuming You have installed 5-1-1 of FNIS and 5-1 of FNIS Creatures. A User more familiar with Mod Organiser may be able to help You set up MO to correctly update in the future.

Sarou89 Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 Yeah... I didn't see that one. I swear I've downloaded and installed the right version of FNIS (through MO) ^^. The thing I forget: I had to go in MO, and then change the direction of the shortcut to... exactly the same thing. Don't forget to click on "Modify" before "Close". Thank you guys.
ya410122 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I got the same problem. Outdated or missing "Fores New Idles in Skyrim" (FNIS) install detected. I use NMM

I use NMM Manual Install of the tools folder, I have to do this because My Mod Manager does not like installing executable files.

Thank you guys. something to remember also, if you set up the short cut for modorganizer, and then use FNIS in the standard way as in just allowing it to check the steam folder normally, and bypassing MO. it will create and error in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors folder. but when you run FNIS again in MO that is when it will show the 1 error, and FNIS short cut may fail the first time after that as well. follow the path that Finish shows you, and delete that .hkx file that was made will clear this up. Also unless you installed MO in the Window program files (86) folder there is not need to run it in administrative mode. UAC will not bother it or should not. and if you try you will probably get another error, and could get the blue screen of death.
