VileSorcery
Hi. o/ I am getting a CTD error when trying to start a new game after installing CBBE BPP and the other mods necessary to get it to work. I /believe/ I followed the directions to install it properly, but apparently I was wrong. I am getting no errors when running TES5 and/or BOSS. What could I have done wrong? I am including my TES5 results. I am fairly new to Skyrim and mods in general, so please bear with me. Link to comment
myuhinny
Always look before making a new thread so you make the thread in the correct area. http://www.loverslab.com/forum/39-skyrim-technical-support/ This is where this should of been posted at and not in the LL general technical support thread as the general technical support thread has nothing to do with skyrim technical support. If you are using a custom race the skeleton and body files need to be manually added to the custom races folder. It might also be a first person problem and there might be a first person skeleton fix for it. Link to comment
sorsharavenwing
One thing I noticed is that you don't have Realistic Ragdolls and Force installed. That's a prerequisite for the most popular skeleton mods that are part of getting T/BBP functionality to work. CBBE itself is only T/BBP enabled. In order to get BBP to function you need to install animations. One way to get T/BBP functionality with CBBE is to install UNPB Redux http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37900/?, choosing either BBP or TBBP options during install and then installing CBBE over the top of it. This overwrites the UNPB meshes and textures with CBBE, but keeps the animations that allow for BBP. You must also install an appropriate skeleton such as XPMS/XPMSE and the prerequisites for it as well. Back when I was using CBBE this is the installation order I used to get BBP functionality: 1 - Install Realistic Ragdolls and Force (required by XPMS and XPMSE) - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/601/? 2 - Install a skeleton like XPMSE (1.93 legacy definitey works) and overwrite any files - http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended/ 3 - Install UNPB Redux without installing the skeleton - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37900/? 4 - Install CBBE and overwrite any files 5 - Run BodySlide and generate the CBBE BBP body of your choice 6 - Run FNIS with the arm fix patch selected And voila! You have CBBE BBP installed. In place of UNPB Redux you can install any mod that installs BBP animations such as CHSBHC. Hope this helps! Also, you might consider switching from BOSS to LOOT - http://loot.github.io/ Link to comment
