Removing HDT HighHeels from an outfit

Just as the title says, I'd like to know if there is anyway to completely remove the requirement for hdt highheels from any armor/clothes mod. Many of mods on 3DM use it, but I personally don't care for it.

Still, if anyone can teach me, or point me in the direction of a tutorial, it'd be very appreciated.

1. Rip out meshes and textures

2. Make a new ESP for them.

The second part I can do, but does the first part require Nifskope, or a different program?

Nah, maybe a BSA unpacker like BSA Opt at most.

You can probably keep the original BSa, just delete the unnecessary scripts and esp, and replace with your new one.

Do you realise that your character's feet will be under the ground?

Yea...I knew about that, but I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have that problem...

I've seen other heeled outfits that don't use hdt, so the authors must be doing something I don't know about.

Probably something really simple...

That's not a problem. That's how things work.

Heel makes legs longer. In Skyrim your character is not really walking on legs, so longer legs does not make him higher above the ground. And that's where hdtHHS strikes in and lifts your character.

Ah...well, thanks for all the replies. I have minimum experience with 3D modeling programs (just 2 years of messing around in Blender), so maybe it'll help...maybe not.

If all else fails, I'll give in, and install hdt highheels (I've been trying to avoid having too many script based mods).
