There is no known method that I am aware of to figure out which this is except the slow and tedious process of elimination As to the 255: You might be able to get away with more via bashed patches but it is been a KNOWN fact since soon after oblivion modding took off years ago that the more mods you have the more unstable you game can become.

My game is actually pretty stable for have 256 mods. only problem is Dwarves of the Mines. One of the first quests is missing an NPC even if I move the mod to the very bottom of the load order. Author/whatever of the mod sent me a PM thats veiwable only in the forums :-( I'd rather not have to register for the forums just to view a PM he could have just posted in the comments. If you are talking about Bethesda games then just use the console commands and you can set the health and fatigue to anything you like.

The unofficial patches are designed to negate all the stuff that you would clean. Sorry my response is so late but I notice that someone was trying to, or at least thinking about having at them with tes4edit. As to the jail breaks - you still have to pick the lock of your cell, but the escape route is different for each dungeon.

I made backup of every eps I cleaned. Should I use uncleaned DLCs from my backup folder before cleaning or continue playing with the cleaned ones? Then the Wrye Bash is lying. Mod checker listed those DLCs to be cleaned.

gregathit Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 If you run into problems or experience oddities then yes, do restore the original files. As a general rule just don't ever do that again. The whole reason the unofficial patches were made was to correct stuff like this. It is not that Wrye or Tes4edit is lying so much as they can't distinguish between original game files and mods. Altering the original game files is something you rarely should do and only if you fully understand exactly what\why you are doing it. Any other reason and you risk screwing something up. gregathit Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I thought I read somewhere that the bsa files count towards your mod limit but I will have to do some digging to confirm that. As to which bsa wins....that is easy....the esp determines this. The bsa file is a "passive file" for the most part that just sits and waits for something to draw from it. Thus the esp that is lowest in the load order will determine which file in which bsa wins.

I noticed performance drop when I had Anequina Desert mod and Kvatch Rebuild lying idling in the Oblivion folder Q: Should I back some files before using TES4LODGen? I've never used that tool before. [/quote'] First off: Where those two mods included in your bashed patch? If they were then moving them won't help you. Second: If they were not in the bashed patch and you moved them down below it did you make a clean save before trying them in their new location. If you just moved the esp and did disable it and make a clean save then you won't see any changes. You at minimum need to make a clean save before making changes to your load order. If a clean save doesn't work then try a new game to see if it will.
